Marginalization can happen in various spaces where the people are marginalized by the society, there, the built environment also becomes equally oppressive. One must understand that the design of the built environment is the outcome of the underlying discrimination borne out of either ignorance or lack of awareness and sometimes even, insensitivity. The examples of the built environment given in this article show that the design and built environment become the mode of conveying an ideology or the mind-set of the society at large and hence blaming the architects or designers would not be sufficient.

In recent years, the tourist industry's role as a key player in the socioeconomic dynamics of a country, particularly one with internationally renowned attractions, has come to be widely acknowledged. Growing consumer demand for vacations and other forms of recreational travel has resulted in a boom for the tourism industry, which has contributed significantly to the expansion and sustainability of many countries while also providing a wide range of other benefits to a wide range of people. Tourism has been a major tool of economic development round the world and in the recent years it has proved its potential by emerging as the fastest growing industry, contributing about 9% to global Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Sustainable tourism is more ecologically beneficial since it provides people with employment and financial compensation while causing no damage to the environment. Tourism is recognized by the government as a sector with substantial potential for economic development and employment generation among the general population. Tourism is considered the backbone of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) economy. It generates/promotes employment opportunities, infrastructure development cultural exchange, revenue/income generation and also promotes regional growth, that accelerates the economic growth and development in Jammu and Kashmir. Jammu and Kashmir is paradise for tourists it is covered with hilly mountains represents the awe inspiring, supremacy, beauty and opulence of nature. It consists of two regions namely Jammu, Kashmir. Different tourist centers have different attraction like heritage, pilgrimage, infrastructure, natural beauty, etc. But Jammu and Kashmir has combination of all the attraction natural beauty, pilgrimage heritage, cultural, handicraft that attracts the tourists from all over the world that provides an extra boost to the Jammu and kashmir economy. World tourism groups, such as the World Tourist Organization, have established that India has a substantial tourism development potential, especially for developing nations. Several nations, including India and China, are anticipated to have 'established themselves as global tourist heavyweights by 2020, according to forecasts. As a result of tourism's severe environmental consequences, despite the industry's rapid rise in recent years and promising growth prospects, there is growing worry over the industry's long-term sustainability as a development paradigm. Tourism has negative consequences on the environment, since it reduces the carrying capacity of the ocean's ecosystem. Tourism has detrimental consequences on the environment, impacting the carrying capacity of the region, the flora, the air quality, bodies of water, the water table, wildlife, and the natural environment. Tourism has a negative impact on the environment. The concept of ecotourism is gaining popularity since it has the potential to be helpful in the long term to the growth of the tourist industry. In addition to providing employment and cash to local communities, ecotourism has the potential to generate much-needed foreign currency for national governments, all while protecting the long-term viability of natural resources.

Community Participation is a well discussed concept in various urban sectors including water resource management. Most of the water body and catchment area conservation initiatives across India are either community led or initiatives that partly involve communities in the different stages of conservation plan. One of the typology of water body is a pond which is increasingly being recognized for the important ecosystem services as well as place making opportunity it provides to its local area. This paper is an attempt to assess willingness of a notified urban village, Kakrola, community members for the conservation of village ponds and their catchment. Community's responses were analysed based on gender, age, caste, education, occupation and income group along with their socio- cultural and socio-economic characteristics. Further the study proposes a case specific participatory framework and concludes with emphasizes on systematic thinking for higher engagement of group of individuals for meaningful participation to achieve effective conservation.

The purpose of the study was to find out the impact of trunk rotation strength & hand grip strength training towards the throwing ball velocity among intercollegiate level Cricket players. Total 60 intercollegiate level cricket players were selected from Chattisgarh University, of age ranged between 18-25 years. All subjects were divided into three groups as hand grip strength training (Group-I, N=20), trunk rotation strength training group (Group- II, N=20) andbasic strength training group (Group-III, N=20) for this study, subjects underwent training 3 days in a week for a period of 6 weeks. Pre and post-test random group design was used for this study. The data were collected before and after the training period of 6 weeks and the data were statically analyzed by one-way between groups analysis of variance (ANOVA) to compare the mean score in throwing ball velocity between each group, to find out the significant improvement if any at 0.05 level of confidence. The post-hoc test indicated that all training group significantly different to each other. This study also concluded that additional training of Hand grip and trunk rotation are able to improve the throwing ball velocity rather than performing the basic strength training only.

This study was to investigate the effects of exposure to a sublethal concentration of 0.5 ppm of Cypermethrin (10% EC) at different durations on the gill morphology of the air-breathing fish Anabas testudineus. The experimental fish were divided into control and cypermethrin-exposed groups. All experimental fish species were observed after an interval of 7 and 14 days. Scanning Electron Microscopic (SEM) study revealed that exposure to cypermethrin induced changes in the gill structure. It showed highly active mucous cells, epithelial hyperplasia, and fusion of secondary lamellae.

Every decision is made in a specific context to the location and location analytics adds decision supporting context to the "why" "when" and "how much" questions associated to every dataset. This paper outlines a prototype that we developed to be followed for systematically conducting this type of analysis. For demonstrating the usage of the prototype, we have used the laundry business expansion dataset in Michigan and the associated maps and demographic data layers. One of the most important activities when planning a business expansion is to analyse the existing businesses for identifying the Geographic attributes and Critical success factors for the business. Research results in this paper first analysed a set of best-performing similar businesses to identify critical success factors. These are applied along with other known demographic criteria to identify the most suitable market for the expansion of the business

This survey explores the dynamic realm of financial market analysis and decision-making, focusing on methodologies empowered by the Consumer Price Index (CPI). A thorough examination of existing literature and research initiatives reveals the strategic use of CPI data to refine sector selection and enhance stock predictions. The Consumer Price Index, a pivotal economic gauge, reflects the average change in prices paid by urban consumers for a basket of goods and services over time. This paper investigates how the integration of CPI data into financial models contributes to precision and insight in stock market decision-making.
