Traditional museums around the world are forced to undergo transformation and become more inclusive and representative of their communities in light of postcolonial criticism and New Museum theory. New Museum theory, also called Critical museum theory or New Museology was a result of the debate around the growing demands for the inclusion of indigenous people in the representation of their cultural heritage. As a result, new roles and directions for museums and heritage institutions have emerged which put forward a different museological approach focused not only on artefacts but also on people. Under this new approach, the concept of a museum as a dynamic cultural centre replaces the concept of the museum as a repository of collections. This paper presents the theoretical underpinnings of New Museology and its development in international context. It also examines the development of New Museology in India and provides an overview of its implication in Indian museum practices, using Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS) at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh as an example.

As the development of information technology, the study on applying ICTs on logistics has been necesary, especially in retail industry. However, research examining the digital logistics in retail industry in Vietnam has been little attention. Therefore, to bridge this gap the current paper investigates the relationship among ease of use, perceived usefullness, perceived trust and applying digital logistics, and also examines the moderating role of perceived risk on these relationships in the context of Vietnam. The results show that perceived trust has the largest impact on digital logistics success while perceived usefullness has least impact. The paper also highlights the role of perceived risk in decreasing the relations between applying information technology on logisctis.

In this paper reviews, the natural dyes are made from plants, animals, minerals and, insects using environmentally-friendly solvents. Dyeing is a complex, specialized science. Nearly all dyestuff is now produced from synthetic compounds. This means that costs have been greatly reduced and certain application and wear characteristics have been greatly enhanced. But many practitioners of the craft of natural dyeing. With the improvement of living standards, everybody is very much conscious about environmental protection and health safety. Natural dyes have attracted more attention to the industry due to exhibiting better biodegradability and more compatibility with the environment. The chapter contains a brief review of natural dyes from their advantages and disadvantages and their classifications and types of natural dyes.

Use of biogas assures renewable energy supply and balances the green house gases. There is growing interest in the use of biogas as a fuel for transport applications. A compressed biogas (20-25 Mpa / 200-250 bars) with high methane content (at least 97%) by volumecan be a promising alternative as vehicle fuel in replacement of conventional fossil fuels.Biogas fuelled vehicles can reduce CO2emissions by between 75% and 200% compared with fossil fuels. This paper sets out the resource, available for producing biogas and explores how this gas can be used as fuel for transport by describing the basic technology requirements.

The delivery of public services using Information Communication Technologies has been a main point of attention during the era of globalization and liberalization. ICT-mediated governance projects have been competitively pursued by both developed and developing countries. The implementation of the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) has clearly established the vision and mission regarding e-Governance in the country. The mission statement of NeGP clearly states that public service delivery should be made at the door steps of the citizens through ICT and Common Service Centres (CSCs). Akshaya Common Service Centres are established in Kerala as an e-literacy project and later took the role of e-service delivery centre. This study has been undertaken to find out the effectiveness of Akshaya e-centres in meeting the expectations of citizens as an e-service provider.

Purpose- The objective of this research is to explore and give a frame to Work-life balance literature and identify different variables that affect gender and determine avenues for future research. Design/methodology/ approach- The study involves a systematic review, and determine 92 significant journal publications from 1987 to 2016 on work life balance. Findings- This research determines 11 variables that affect gender among which dominance of work-family conflict. The studies suggest a high prevalence of conflict while balancing work and like in women than men. Limited data were available in how to manage this imbalance among which organization policy played a very important role. Research limitation/ implication: Research-based on men and women was only covered so it cannot be generalized. Originality/ Value-This research provides the first systematic review to determine and analyse the literature on Work-life balance. This review identifies the various variables of Work-life balance that affect gender.

As corporates are profit making organizations basic assumption is that they should be sensitive to the needs of communities or society at large in which they operate, similarly their products and services should not bring negative impact on people and planet. The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has wider scope. The banks are one of the major stakeholders in the finance sector. Through its huge network of branches and profit the banking industry is one of the major corporates in India. The banks can have wider socio-economic impact in the society through their financial products and services. Considering this Reserve Bank of India has issued guidelines to banks regarding CSR, sustainable development and non-financial reporting and advised that the banks should frame their policies on CSR. To have demonstrated effects implementation of CSR is crucial. The present paper is based on the analysis of CSR activities undertaken by public and private sector banks during three financial years. The paper will throw light on the social issues focused by banks, strategies adopted to implement CSR and social development, involvement of staff, sustainability of such activities etc. The paper will also take review of overall CSR and Social Development and nonfinancial reporting by banks in Tirunelveli district.
