Depression in the elderly generally accepted as a normal part of ageing in our society. Hence it is ignored and untreated resultant at a higher rate of the suicidal case in old age than the younger generation. Its causes and symptoms treatment vary from young generational depression to elderly depression, so here identified causes, signs, symptoms, treatment mechanism, and how it differs from dementia in old age are dealt with elderly perspective. For this purpose, I had gone through various published reports and article from different organisation and leading publishing house. The study found that depression in old age is a chronic disease like diabetes or arthritis. Our society is not looking for elderly depression as severe as it requires. Society thinks it as a normal part of ageing life, so this way of ignoring by mental health experts and society has put our elderly at high risk of mortality at early

Metal removal mechanism in Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) is mainly a thermal phenomenon where thermal energy is produced in plasma channel, and is dissipated though work piece, tool and dielectric. The process is mostly used in situations where machining of very hard materials, intricate parts, complex shapes. The aim of this work is to pursue the influence of three design factors current, pulse on time (Ton), and pulse off time (T off) which are the most connected parameters to be controlled by the EDM process over HCHCR machining specifications such as material removal rate (MRR) and characteristics of surface integrity such as average surface roughness (Ra) quantify them. The experiments were carried out as per L9 orthogonal array. Each experiment were performed under different conditions such as Ampere rating, pulse on time and pulse off time.

Remote sensing and GIS technologies empower academicians and professionals to plan and conduct a rapid, cost effective, wide ranged survey and monitoring. In addition, remotely sensed data have been proven to be an imperative tool in geological prospecting. particularly in identifying and interpreting lithological variation, landform features, drainage pattern and geomorphic indicators at regional scale, mostly in the inaccessible/ unapproachable areas. Remote sensing techniques have a potential of providing a synoptic view of a large area in single platform, where one can sense the variation cum mutual relationship of different lithological units. Subsequently, while geological investigation of a large area, the remote sensing techniques are being used to gather supplementary information for onward geological interpretation in terms of lithological assemblages, geomorphologic variation and structural trends.

The emergence of a new e-based classroom is being witness throughout the world. Rapid progresses in the area of micro electronics and space technology have contributed substantially to time phenomenon. Schools and classroom practices are giving proper attention to the preparation of teachers and the proper pedagogy and suitable methodology to be adopted in the e-based classroom instruction to transform the appropriate information in a concrete manner. The destiny of the nation is shaped only in the classrooms. A good teacher can bring the entire world to the classroom. As many research studies had revealed that the caliber of the teachers has tremendous impact on the caliber of the students. The present paper discusses a little about the teachers preparation for e-based classrooms. It is an attempt to highlight the problem, practices and prospects of teachers preparations for e-based classroom.

Karnataka is an agrarian economy and majority of the working population are dependent on agriculture. Life on earth is sustained by several climatic factors, which have undergone with numerous transformations. Climate change refers to changes in factors such as Temperature, Humidity, Air pressure, Wind, Clouds and Precipitation patterns over time. The imprints of climate change are observed clearly across the world. Changes in Climatic factors that occur over a longer period of time, is termed as Climate Change. Extreme weather conditions such as floods, droughts, heat waves, raising temperatures, landslides, hail storms and many of these natural disasters are outcome of the same climatic changes. There are many Natural and human-induced factors that contribute to the climate change. Over time, enhanced greenhouse effects have resulted in global warming - an increase in the earths average temperature. Global warming is one type of climatic change and it drives other changes in the climate, such as changes in the rainfall patterns and the frequency and distribution of weather events such as droughts, storms, floods and heat waves etc. Although the terms climate change and global warming are often used interchangeably, climate change is a broader term that incorporates both global warming and other observed changes in climate. These climatic changes have brought disastrous effects on agriculture. This is the primary effect. Therefore, due to climatic change, when agricultural sector is affected, even industrial sector, dependent on it, also gets affected. Many scientists argue that the impacts of climate change will be devastating for natural and human systems and that climate change poses an existential threat to human civilisation. This paper highlights the importance and impact of such Climate Changes on Agro Based industrial development in Karnataka from past two decades.

The present paper explores Ambedkars imagination of an ideal society and the means to achieve it. To understand his ends and means this paper analyses the socio-economic, political, educational, and religious philosophy of Ambedkar. In this way, this paper is not only a critical engagement to the idea of social justice but also the concept of social transformation. Ambedkars social philosophy is based on a just society or humanity, which consists of three basic principles of liberty, equality and fraternity. If we analyze the thoughts and actions of Ambedkar, we find that his socio-economic, political, educational, and religious philosophy indicates towards social transformation, rather than social justice. Because social justice refers to individual rights, dignity, and equal opportunity and rights for the society within the existing structure. The fundamental principles of his just society were based on social, economic, religious, cultural, and political democracy. Hence, all the socio-economic and political institutions should be based on liberal democratic standards such as equality, liberty and fraternity. Ambedkar believed in three components that would be the means of his just society like educate, organize and agitate. There are number of literatures on idea of justice, social justice and Ambedkar, but Ambedkars thoughts and actions for social transformation got very less attention. This paper is a modest attempt to understand Ambedkars insight on social transformation. The primary and secondary sources like Ambedkars speeches and writing and books and article has been used in this study.

Rapid economic development has resulted in environmental degradation and social conflict in many parts of the world. The never-ending global issues can be controlled if entrepreneurial activities strictly adopt sustainable practices and be more ethical and responsible. Researchers have examined the relationship between religiosity and ethical business decision. However, research on such relationship often produce mix results. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to assess the potential of religious ideologies in determining ethical decision making of entrepreneurs particularly regarding environmental sustainability. The paper examines sustainability in the light of the Quran and Hadith. It looks at previous research on religiosity and ethics as well as the relationship between religion and awareness towards environmental protection of entrepreneurs. This study introduces a conceptual model that highlights how three religious ideologies in Islam may influence Muslim attitude on environmental sustainability. The paper informs researchers in the area of religion and ethical decision making on the new construct namely religious ideologies as determinants to ethical decision making particularly concerning environmental sustainability.

Choosing a career is an important step in ones life and choosing the right career is essential to achieve success and happiness. Many individuals look up to their families for guidance as to reap benefits from their experience in career selection. They, therefore, have a substantial effect on their career decisions though it may vary from family to societies to cultures. This study is based on the influence of family on career decisions of Indian students and therefore takes into account students who study or have studied in India. In the study, it has been found that family members have a positive and significant effect on career decisions and there is no difference in the guidance provided to children based on gender. This study will be useful to career consultants and academicians and educational institutions to provide better guidance to the students as well as to the parents for deciding better prospects for their children that align with their interests.

In this paper I have worked to provide an introduction to the Modular arithmetic, Galois field and Vector space components and its relation to graph theory. Graph theory is an area of mathematics where modular arithmetic and vector space components are used for undirected graph. Vector and vector space discussed in the two-dimensional Euclidean space. The concept of representing vectors is now extended to representation of k- dimensional space by means of an ordered k-tuple. Vector space associated with graph and total number of sub-graphs are discussed in relation to their edges. Linearly dependent and independent vectors are also explained following an example.
