The impact of the French colonial policy in French settlements in general and Pondicherry in particular was mostly felt in the spheres of political development, administration, trade and religion. In other fields like agriculture and land settlement, industry, culture and literature the impact was only marginal While the influence of French colonial policy helped the spread of Christianity in the region, there was very little impact in respect of culture and literature as the French colonists did not seems to have had any definite or active policy in these two spheres. The French colonists followed an active policy in respect of the propagation of Christian religion but it cannot be said that they ever followed a bigoted and aggressive policy of forcible mass conversion of natives into Christianity1. As the Census Report of Pondicherry of 1961 says, "except for a few excesses of religious zeal they have invariably respected the manner and civilization of the people who were entrusted to their care". In this respect they differed very much from the Portuguese who persecuted the natives and followed a policy of forcible conversions.

Complementary and alternative therapies for colds and flu were commonly used by ancient people. They were used to cure or prevent respiratory viral infections and many nations obtained traditional experience in such remedies. The World Health Organization estimates a total of 25 to 50 million cases each year resulting in 150 000 hospitalizations and 30 000 to 40 000 deaths in the United States alone, due to epidemic influenza. During pandemics, the mortality and morbidity may be much higher, imposing tremendous pressure on health system. Respiratory viruses are a major cause of influenza-like illness symptoms in children and adults, leading to substantial morbidity and mortality each year. Currently employed influenza vaccines are only effective when the vaccine strains match the epidemic strains antigenically. Therefore, seasonal influenza vaccines have to be updated almost annually. In addition, seasonal influenza vaccines fail to afford protection against antigenically distinct pandemic influenza viruses. The Unani system of medicine is one of the traditional systems of medicine practised since centuries in many parts of the world including India. In Unani medicine, nazla-e-wab?i is referred as influenza for which a decoction containing Behidana, Unnab and Sapistan are recommended to relieve the clinical features of nazla-e-wab?i like epidemics. There are also many drugs and diet which are used in treatment of influenza like illness in the light of ancient Unani classics and recent scientific studies.

This paper presents Fly Ash with Waste paper Sludge Ash brick properties, manufacturing process material required for preparing the Geopolymer bricks with fly ash and waste paper sludge ash as per Indian standard code provisions, inspection and quality control. The textures of the bricks with waste Paper Sludge Ash and Fly Ash Bricks were very similar to that of clay bricks; the sample with the additive contains spherical Fly Ash particles. These particles of geopolymer led to a reduction in the density of the bricks and a substantial improvement in their durability. Use of this additive could have practical implications as a means of recycling and for achieving cost savings in brick production. The Literature on Clay Bricks and Fly ash with Waste Paper Sludge Ash(Geopolymer) Bricks has been presented under the classifications based on absorption coefficient, shape and size, density, weight, porosity, thermal conductivity and compressive strength of geopolymer bricks. Background: A lot of pressure on a generate more energy and the amount of fly ash problem to our environment because geopolymer etc. Results: The absorption coefficient, shape and size, density, weight, porosity, thermal conductivity and compressive strength of geopolymer bricks compare with normal clay bricks that delivers good results. (1) Geopolymer used as waste from industrial by product and environment is directly protected by reducing solid waste disposal. (2)The average compressive strength of geopolymer brick is 9 N/mm2 (3)Geopolymer used as raw material replacing of clay to make fired bricks is an effective measure of saving land and decreasing pollution. The properties of the bricks improved with the firing temperature (4) Geopolymer bricks show less damage than conventional bricks when exposed to salt crystallization cycles. This improvement is due to the reduction of the surface area of the bricks. Conclusion: From the present study, it can be concluded that geopolymer bricks can be used as an alternative to clay bricks.

Agriculture is a crucial part of Indian economy. Over 60% of Indian populace based mostly upon agriculture and one third of the financial gain of the nation arises from agricultural practices. Thus, it plays an important role in the development of the country. Various troubles associated to farming is constantly hampering the improvement of the country. Attainable answer for these issues is to choose progressive agriculture practices that includes of contemporary trends. Hence, agriculture will be created good exploitation IoT and alternative technologies. Smart agriculture will increase crop yield, decreases water wastage and unbalanced use of fertilizers. The Major feature of this project is that it measures the various agricultural parameters affecting the yield and it additionally uses a GPS module to induce the knowledge regarding the location. Secondly it sends all the information to the cloud wherever it can be analyzed. Third this project additionally carries a mobile app providing a straight forward access of information to the farmer. In conclusion this project represents a smart irrigation, Fertilization and monitoring system that helps the farmer.
