 Abstract

India, as a developing nation, offers medical services at a more affordable rate compared to many developed countries. This has attracted numerous tourists seeking medical care through various Indian healthcare options. The country is renowned for its practices such as Yoga, Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy, Siddha, and spiritual healing, alongside hospitality services in locations like Mooligai Hills. The Indian government provides multi-specialty medical services to the public at lower costs. Additionally, state and union territory governments extend healthcare services to both residents and non-resident Indians (NRIs). The private sector has also significantly contributed to the healthcare landscape, offering high-quality medical services as both corporate entities and public utilities, often at reasonable prices, supported by government health insurance schemes. India's healthcare infrastructure is increasingly attracting international patients, leading to a rise in medical tourism. This sector has become a vital component of the Indian economy, contributing to GDP growth, with medical tourism representing a significant share of economic resources distributed across the nation. Notably, cities such as Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, and Vellore in Tamil Nadu have become popular destinations for foreign patients seeking treatment in both government and private hospitals, yielding positive outcomes. This article discusses previous research on health tourism in India.

 Abstract

This study focuses on optimizing the mix proportions that include marble dust, ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS), and coconut shell ash. Several mix combinations were methodically investigated using a Design of Experiments technique in order to determine the ideal proportions that produce the best compressive strength and durability. The experimental design allowed for a thorough analysis of interactions between materials. Bricks were tested for compressive strength, water absorption, and durability and the results were analyzed using statistical tools to determine the importance of each factor and its interactions. The results showed that the amounts of marble dust, GGBS, and coconut shell ash significantly improved the compressive strength of fly ash bricks and reduced water absorption. The optimal mixing proportions identified in this study provide a sustainable and economically viable solution for brick production, reducing dependence on traditional materials and encouraging the use of industrial and agricultural by-products. In summary, DOE's use of fly ash to optimize brick mix proportions demonstrates a systematic approach to improving brick properties while promoting environmental sustainability. The discoveries help develop strong, durable, and environmentally friendly building materials that meet the goals of modern sustainable development.

 Abstract

Cranberries are a rich source of bioactive compounds that comprise a healthy diet. Cranberry is abundant in nutritional components and also have antioxidant properties. Both American (Vaccinium macrocarpon) and European (Vaccinium oxycoccus) cranberry species are high in polyphenols such as phenolic acids, anthocyanins, and flavonoids, and are one of the few fruits high in proanthocyanidins, which have been related to numerous health advantages. The review organises information on cranberry's chemical composition, antioxidant effect, and the beneficial impact on human health and disease prevention after cranberry consumption, specifically its effect on urinary tract inflammation in both adults and children, cardiovascular and oncology diseases, type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, obesity, tooth decay and periodontitis, Helicobacter pylori bacteria in the stomach, and other diseases. More research is needed to investigate cranberry proteome profiling, polyphenol interaction and synergy with other biologically active components from natural ingredients

 Abstract

Drug interactions occur when two drugs are co-administered and both are metabolized by the same P450. One drug can then inhibit the metabolism of another drug leading to high serum levels and extended biological activity and Sometime toxicity. Drug interactions are a major problem in human therapy especially with CYP3A4, a P450 involved in metabolism of over 60% of all therapeutically used drugs [6]. In addition, CYP3A4 activity is affected by foods and natural products such as grapefruit juice and is a target for induction by ligands of the nuclear receptor PXR. Drug-drug interactions (DDIs) result from changes in the pharmacokinetics (PK) of the drug or its metabolites due to changes in absorption, distribution, metabolism, or degradation, due to improved. or poor pharmacodynamics (PD). Effect Drug interactions can occur for many reasons, including direct chemical reactions, interactions by increasing or decreasing P450, competition for binding to albumin, and others. Sometimes it can be identified, but not in many cases. Most clinical programs require evaluation of potential drug interactions with other medications that may be frequently used. Food-drug interaction may also occur, and should be assessed as well. Introduction A drug interaction occurs when a patient"s response to a drug is modified by food, nutritional supplements, formulation excipients, environmental factors, other drugs or disease. Interactions between drugs (drug-drug interactions) may be beneficial or harmful. Harmful drug interactions are important because they account for 10- 20% of adverse events requiring hospitalization and can be avoided. 1 Elderly patients are especially true vulnerable - with a strong relationship between increasing age, the number of drugs prescribed and the frequency of potential drug-drug interactions. 2 Knowing how drug-drug interactions occur and how to manage them is an important part of clinical practice.

 Abstract

The selected paper entitled "A Natural Perspective: The Development of Shakespearean Comedy and Romance" examines the evolution of William Shakespeare's comedic and romantic plays. The paper contends that Shakespeare's comedies follow a structural pattern that moves from chaos to social harmony, often involving themes of mistaken identity, family conflict, and festive resolutions. As Shakespeare's career progresses, his works transition from pure comedy to more complex romances, which blend comic elements with themes of redemption, reconciliation, and the supernatural. The selected paper explores how these plays reflect universal archetypes, such as the hero's journey, death and rebirth, and seasonal cycles. By combining archetypal criticism with structural analysis, the study illuminates the enduring relevance of Shakespeare's exploration of human experience through comedy and romance.
