The conceptual study explores the livelihood and socio-economic challenges of fishermen in North Malabar, a region deeply reliant on fishing for economic survival. The study aims to identify the key socio-economic issues, assess the impact of environmental changes and regulatory policies, and propose strategies to enhance community resilience and sustainability. Through a comprehensive literature review and policy analysis, the study uncovers significant challenges, including economic instability due to fluctuating fish stocks, inadequate infrastructure, and limited access to financial resources and markets. Environmental factors like climate change and coastal degradation further threaten the sustainability of fishing practices. The study also highlights the socio-economic marginalization of fishermen, who often lack access to education, healthcare, and alternative livelihoods. The findings suggest that the targeted interventions, such as improved regulatory policies, enhanced access to financial and technical resources, and community-based initiatives, are essential for sustainable development. This analysis lays the groundwork for future empirical research and policy formulation, advocating for holistic and inclusive approaches to strengthen the resilience and sustainability of fishing communities in North Malabar.

Food creation within the country, food imports, and food stored in government warehouses from previous years are all implied by the availability of food. Eating requires having sufficient material and financial resources to establish a healthy eating pattern. Usage of food implies proper utilize in view of the information on fundamental nourishment which is essential for our wellbeing. Any modification to the environment brought about by a human movement or a natural variation over time is referred to as environmental change. Three factors are taken into consideration while providing an overview of how climate change is affecting food security in India: availability, access, and absorption. It concludes that maintaining food security in the face of climate change will be extremely difficult and suggests, among other things, that sustainable agricultural methods be adopted, that public health and urban food security be given more attention, that livelihood security be provided, and that long-term relief measures be put in place in case of natural disasters. This study provides an outline of three key topics: (a) how climate change is affecting India's agricultural output; (b) how these changes in productivity will affect food security; and (c) how nutritional availability is rated in the Indian context. The policy measures adopted by the Indian government to protect the population's food security are also a major topic of discussion in this study. We will talk about in this essay. Security of food and nutrition in the context of climate change.

Recently, research on global warming, climate change and tourism has shifted to the forefront. Aside from the widely read books and scholarly papers on the subject, there is a heated discussion going on. "Warming of the climate system is unequivocal as is now evident from observations of increases in global average air and ocean temperatures, widespread melting of snow and ice since the mid-20th century," said the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. This text takes a conceptual and self-directed approach to provide readers with an all-inclusive state of the art. This study aims to define and comprehend the scope of research conducted to evaluate the effects of climate change and global warming on tourism. The process involves the steps: first, searching the literature using the Google search engine; second, consulting reputable research journals on tourism, climate change, and global warming; and third, looking through published reports from government agencies and scientific and international organisations. Given the nature of the business, the size and effects of climate change and global warming clearly affect the tourist industry's fortunes.

Mediation has become an increasingly favored approach to resolving family disputes in India, particularly due to its conciliatory nature and potential to reduce the judiciary's caseload. However, the mediation process is not inherently neutral; it often reflects and reinforces existing societal power structures, particularly those related to gender. This doctrinal study critically examines how gender dynamics affect mediation outcomes in family disputes in India. Drawing upon feminist legal theory and analysis of judicial interpretation, the paper argues that patriarchal norms and gendered expectations can significantly disadvantage female litigants, who may experience pressure to prioritize family unity over individual rights or equitable settlements. The study reviews relevant legal frameworks, including the Family Courts Act, 1984, and the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987, and critiques the lack of explicit protections against gender biases within these frameworks. By analyzing landmark judicial decisions and incorporating insights from feminist critiques, this paper identifies key areas where mediation practices could be reformed to safeguard the interests of women. The paper concludes by proposing targeted reforms, including gender sensitivity training for mediators, legal representation for vulnerable parties, and formal guidelines to manage power imbalances. These changes aim to foster a more equitable mediation process that aligns with the rights and needs of all parties involved.
