 Abstract

The proposed paper analyses and models potential of low-cost, portable, and energy-efficient computing platforms like Raspberry Pi in addressing real-world challenges in agriculture and food industries. The fruit detection system can be a valuable tool for farmers, food processors, and distributors, contributing to sustainable agriculture and reducing food waste through improved fruit handling and sorting processes. The proposed system leverages computer vision and machine learning techniques to accurately identify and classify fruits in real-time. It can be employed in both indoor and outdoor environments, making it adaptable for different agricultural settings. Furthermore, the real-time capabilities of the Raspberry Pi-based system enable rapid decision-making in crop management and sorting processes, enhancing overall efficiency and productivity. In this paper, we are inspecting the quality of fruits based on size, shape and color. All these algorithms are implemented using Raspberry Pi development board which will become an independent and cost effective system.

 Abstract

Ombudsman in India is Lokpal and Lokayukta. It is actually a statutory body which has been established by Lokpal and Lokayukta Act, 2013. Hence it does not have constitutional status. Lokpal is a statutory body for union whereas Lokayukta is a statutory body for states. They perform the functions of 'Ombudsman' i.e., they inquire into the allegations of corruption of public functionaries and also other matters related to it. Maladministration is considered as the great problem in the present society. It basically hinders the development of the nation, moreover it ruptures the foundation of the nation. Corruption is considered as the root cause of maladministration and a starting point where such thing begins. There are various anticorruption agencies but they are hardly independent. Many of such agencies do not have effective powers but they act like an advisory body and give advices but those advices are not effectively followed or it could also be said as it is rarely followed. In case of modern social welfare state civil servants play a very important role. In modern society public servants not only act as a mere executor of public policy, they also act as an initiator and also formulator of a policy. Public servants give expert advice for good administration, meanwhile they also become a controller of administration. Effective control must be exercised in order to hold them responsible for their acts. Such control mechanism is exercised by few agencies, where Lokpal and Lokayukta are one among such agencies. The article mainly speaks about Lokpal and Lokayukta and its good governance.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT Well defined and futuristic education policy is essential for a country at school and college levels due to the reason that education leads to economic and social progress. Different countries adopt different education systems by considering the tradition and culture and adopt different stages during their life cycle at school and college education levels to make it effective. The National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020), which was approved by the Union Cabinet of India on 29 July 2020, outlines the vision of India's new education system. The new policy replaces the previous National Policy on Education, 1986. The policy is a comprehensive framework for elementary education to higher education as well as vocational training in both rural and urban India. The policy aims to transform India's education system by 2021. Shortly after the release of the policy, the government clarified that no one will be forced to study any particular language and that the medium of instruction will not be shifted from English to any regional language. The language policy in NEP is a broad guideline and advisory in nature; and it is up to the states, institutions, and schools to decide on the implementation. Education in India is a Concurrent List subject. Himachal Pradesh has become the first state to implement New Education Policy 2020. The national educational policy should be implemented in all schools over India by 2022. KEYWORDS: Higher Education, National Education Policy 2020, NEP-2020, Overview & Analysis, Implementation Strategies, Approaches, Challenges, Opportunities of NEP 2020.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT BACKGROUND: A meta- analysis of the studies available through the Cochrane database and WHO's reproductive health library confirmed that active management of labour was associated with reduced PPH, anaemia and decreased need for Blood Transfusion ,reduced risk of prolonged third stage and less use of addition a uterotonic drugs. Midwives are skilled health care professionals. At this point, it was strongly felt that structured Teaching program will illuminate their minds and improve their knowledge and practice and ultimately to update the current knowledge and practice in this field. METHODS: The study design consisted of one group pre-test and post-test pre experimental research design. Non -probability purposive sampling technique was used for selection of samples. The data was collected from 50 staff nurses working in maternity department of HI-TECH Medical College and Hospital, Bhubaneswar, Khurdha, Odisha using Close ended questionnaire to assess the knowledge and Observational checklist to assess the practices for performing active management of third stage of labor (AMTSL). Post test was conducted after 7 days of administration of STP to know the effectiveness by using the same close ended questionnaire and observational checklist. RESULTS: In pre-test; nurses are having on an average 49.04% of knowledge scores on AMTSL. In post-test after implementation of STP, the staff nurses scored up to 76.25% .In pre-test the practice scores is 39.73% .In post-test, after implementation of STP the nurses have scored 63.47%. The difference of knowledge scores between pre-test and post-test is 10.74 and the difference of practice scores between pre-test and post-test is 5.46.Thepaired't' test was calculated and found that there is a significant difference between pre and post-test knowledge (6.71) and practice scores (5.80) before and after implementation of STP. Karl Pearson's coefficient correlation between knowledge with practice of pre-test(r = .70) and post-test (r=0.76) shows significant relationship, which reveals that when knowledge level increases the practice will also increases. There is association between post-test knowledge and sex of staff nurses and practice is the significant association between areas of working, of staff nurses is calculated by using Chi -square test at 0.05 level of significance. CONCLUSION: The result of the study shows that; there is a great need for the staff nurses, to update their knowledge and practices regarding AMTSL.

 Abstract

Textiles have progressed from being a source of ornamentation to a widespread application. Textiles have gone through a revolution to spread such a broad spectrum. The use of natural fabrics is a solution to the problems arising from the use of natural and synthetic textiles. The toxic substances used to synthesise natural or artificial textiles has adverse effects, such as the consumption of a lot of water and pesticides for their production from their starting stage until the end of the line, which can result in damage to human health, soil, water, air, etc. The use of organic and sustainable fabrics is an environmentally safe solution to compensate for toxic fabrics. This article gives an overview of such silk fabrics namely organic cotton, lotus, and muga silk, and contains the ethnographic study of the same.

 Abstract

An estimated 3.8% of the world's population suffers from depression, including 5.0% of adults and 5.7% of persons over the age of 60. About 280 million people around the world suffer from depression. Depression is different from the usual mood swings and transient emotional reactions to problems in everyday life. Depression can progress to a serious illness, especially if it is recurrent and of moderate to severe severity . It could be characterised as sorrowful, grieving, or angry feelings. Depression is a severe condition with clinical and sociological significance. Major depression is more common in women than in males.

 Abstract

This project tackles the issue of tweet sentiment analysis, which involves categorizing tweets into those that indicate good, negative, or neutral mood. Twitter is a social networking and microblogging website that enables users to post 140-character maximum status updates With over 200 million registered users, of which 100 million are active users and half of them log in at least daily, it is a service that is rapidly growing. Each day, it generates approximately 250 million tweets. We intend to reflect the public opinion by assessing the feelings stated in the tweets in light of this significant usage. Numerous applications require the analysis of public mood, including businesses attempting to gauge the market response to their products, the prediction of political outcomes, and the analysis of socioeconomic phenomena like stock exchange. The goal of this project is to create a practical classifier that can accurately and automatically identify the sentiment of an unidentified tweet stream.
