The proliferation of smart cities presents a transformative opportunity to enhance the quality of life for urban residents through data-driven solutions. This abstract explores the design and implementation of a sophisticated Big Data model tailored for smart cities, aiming to optimize various aspects of urban living. The proposed framework integrates diverse data sources, advanced analytics, and IoT technologies to create an intelligent ecosystem that fosters sustainable urban development. The abstract delves into the architecture of the Big Data model, emphasizing its ability to ingest, process, and analyze vast amounts of heterogeneous data in real-time. By integrating information from sensors, social media, transportation systems, weather stations, and other sources, the model captures a comprehensive view of urban dynamics. Machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics are employed to extract meaningful insights, enabling data-driven decision-making in areas such as transportation management, energy efficiency, waste management, public safety, and healthcare. Furthermore, the abstract discusses the practical applications of the Big Data model in enhancing urban living.  Abstract

Taxation prevailed in India since ancient times in one form or another. Manu Smruti's , the most authoritative book on Hindu code gave a detailed analysis on the subject clearly showing the existence of a well - planned taxation system, even in ancient times, where taxes were paid in the shape of gold - coins, cattle, grains, raw-materials and also by rendering personal service by all the class of people. Arthasastra, the extensively offered book on statecraft, economic policy and military strength also advocated to a variety of tax measures. On the contrary, history has witnessed the unfortunate struggle between the state - the collector and the subjects- the tax payer for the payment of the taxes. In the present paper an attempt has been made to throw light on prevailing personal income tax structure in India. The paper briefly analyses the issues relating to high tax burden on people falling under low and medium income groups.

The aim of this study is to develop a herbal cosmetic sunscreen containing flavonoid-rich plant extracts with antioxidant properties. In vitro sun protection values, antioxidant activity, skin irritation, photostability and flavonoid retention were evaluated. The importance of these natural ingredients is not only their biological benefits but also their financial impact, as they can often be obtained from foods and the identification of plant species. In recent years, there has been interest in the use of natural antioxidants.  Abstract

ESL acquisition programs are organized to help students and other non-native speakers of English acquire better listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. To acquire English proficiency for various purposes, ESL teaching has been an integral part of teaching syllabus to students at various levels of education. The intent of ESL teaching is not achieved easily as there are various factors of differing intensities influencing the acquisition process. Much research has been done on most commonly influencing factors, but not a lot focusing on the geographical and demographic factors involved in the process. This research paper examines and evaluates the latter mentioned factors and their influence in the acquisition of English as Second Language, with the aid of literary works from different literatures. This research presents a viable solution in meeting a common ground to deal with the constraints and overcoming it for better acquisition.

 Abstract

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru has remarked that when women move forward, the family moves, the village moves and then ultimately the Nation moves forward. It is a very significant quotation for development and encouragement of women Entrepreneurship. Nobody can deny the contribution of women to the growth and development of the nation. Today women play important role in various fields like medical, engineering, business, science and technology, aerospace, military force, sport, agriculture, farming, industrialist, culture, career counselling, teaching and interior designing, media and journalism etc. India will not progress as a better nation without the support of women who form half of the population. Now the time has come to promote entrepreneurship among women for economic development and empowerment. As a result, it is regarded as one of the most significant issues to investigate the socio economic status of members of Self Help Groups. This paper has primarily focused on income and saving pattern of tea garden women who are SHG members. The prime objective of this paper is to analyse the entrepreneurial activities and financial status of the tea tribe's women of Sivasagar district. The research paper will also discuss the nature of activities of the members and government support and motivation.

Unfortunately, contemporary lifestyle choices, including factors like stress, fatigue, unhealthy dietary habits, and the frequent use of hairstyling/colouring techniques, have contributed to a growing concern of hair loss among younger generations. This hair thinning issue is often not temporary and can result in alopecia. In response to these concerns, individuals experiencing hair loss often seek a range of solutions, from traditional remedies rooted in mythology to more conventional and therapeutic approaches, including the utilization of substances like minoxidil and finasteride.
