 Abstract

ABSTRACT: Tri-Ortho-Cresyl Phosphate (TOCP) is an organophosphate compound which is a toxic substance used as a plasticizer. The hazardous effect of TOCP on the histopathology of selected organs such as gill and muscle of the freshwater fish Indian major carp Catla catla, was investigated in the present study. Gill and muscle samples were collected after 15 days of exposure to sublethal concentrations of TOCP such as 0.25mg/l, 0.5mg/l and 1mg/l and were subjected to histopathological studies. The LC?? value for Catla catla with reference to TOCP was found to be 10 mg/litre. The present study revealed that degenerative alterations occurred in the gill and muscle tissues of Catla catla exposed to varying concentrations of TOCP.

 Abstract

The status of women in India has been dependent upon numerous incredible changes in the course of the last not many centuries. From equivalent status with men in antiquated occasions, through the depressed spots of the medieval period, to the advancement of equivalent rights by numerous reformers. One of them is Mahatma Gandhi. In present day India, women have embellished high workplaces in India including that of the President, Prime priest, Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Leader of Opposition and so forth. Truth be told its credit goes to Mahatma Gandhi. In India he was included women in Political development first time of Satyagraha. He worked not just for the political liberation of the country, yet for freedom of all the stifled and abused segments of society. One of the notes commendable consequences of his labor of love has been the enlivening of women. This made them shed their profound established feeling of inadequacy and ascends to respect and confidence. Women, urban and country, taught and uneducated, Indian and outside, were pulled in to his thoughts and deeds. An endeavor is made in the current paper to comprehend Gandhi's perspectives on women with regards to social, monetary and policy centered issues.

 Abstract

The goal of this investigation was "To analyze emotional wellness measurements between Athletic Players and basketball players ". Scientist took 48 Athletic Players and 48 Basketball Players from 18 to 25 years for the examination. In the present investigation sort of sex & players have been dealt with as autonomous variable and psychological well-being as reliant variable. The individual gatherings of Athletic Players and Basketball Players were controlled the emotional wellness stock by Jagdish and Srivastava (1983). It was watched that Athletic Players subjects are discovered more constructive self-assessment, mix of identity, independence and natural authority than male non player subject, and over all psychological wellness there is critical distinction between male player and male non - player subjects. B-ball Player subjects are discovered more constructive self-assessment, mix of identity, independence, and bunch arranged states of mind and natural dominance than female non player subjects, and over all emotional well-being, there is critical distinction between Athletic Players and Basket non Athletic Players player subjects.

 Abstract

It is indeed very normal for us to encounter the various terms related to Constitutional jurisprudence, like federalism, Rule of Law, Constitutionalism, etc. But, have we ever tried to understand the true meaning of these terms? This article particularly, is going to understand the meaning of the two terms, viz., Constitutionalism and Rule of Law and also, focus upon their relationship with one another.

 Abstract

INTRODUCTION: - The first case of Coronavirus in India appeared on 30th January 2020 in Kerala. After the outbreak of Coronavirus in India, the Indian government announced a one-day 'Janta curfew' on 21st March and then 21-day nationwide lockdown on 23rd March. The lockdown changed people's living conditions and filled them with anxiety and fear. This study aims to find the level of anxiety of the people. METHODOLOGY: - A personalized questionnaire was designed in the Google forms and distributed among the participants. The questionnaires contain four parts which are constant letter, socio-demographic details, PHQ-9, GAD-7, and CAS, respectively. 758 valid responses were recorded. Data analysis was done in SPSS software. RESULTS: - A total of 758 participants has participated in this online survey. Out of the total valid response, 486 (67.1%) were found mild to moderate anxiety level, and males have higher anxiety level than females. Out of these, 50.3% felt breathing difficulty, and 62.9% felt difficulty in concentrating and losing interest in doing work, and 66.8 % felt the change in sleeping patterns. CONCLUSION: - In India, We are going through the phase of unlock-5 where everything is getting normal. In this study, we found that the anxiety level of those people who watch lots of news and think about the Coronavirus is higher than the others. The main reason for people's anxiety is getting infected by Coronavirus, and Worrying about Future.

 Abstract

Unreinforced masonry (URM) infills are seldom included in numerical analysis of reinforced concrete structural systems, and are generally considered as non-structural components. On the contrary, masonry infills can increase the strength, stiffness, and energy dissipation of concrete structures; whilst drastically helping in reducing the deformations and hence ductility demands for the structural members. But owing to the complexity they introduce to analysis, they are generally kept unaccounted for. This paper however, reviews the effects of (URM) infills on 2D frames using performance-based design (PBD) approach, by developing a performance factor (P) for different performance levels. Regular 2D-infilled frames of different heights and infill percentages are assessed using this approach through a non-linear static pushover analysis. Conventional building seismic codes are based on a linear force-based design (FBD) approach to ensure satisfactory performance of structures during earthquakes. Seismic forces are reduced by a response modification factor (R), which is related to the structures ability to undergo inelastic deformations and to dissipate the earthquake input energy through hysteretic behavior. Herein, (FBD) approach is strength based rather than a displacement based design. While however, performance criterion in the performance-based design (PBD) approach is usually displacement based providing a better view on the performance of the structure and predicting the expected non-linear response during seismic events. A new factor namely the performance factor (P) is presented in this paper, by carrying out a correlation between force-based and performance-based design methods, to be used in designing RC structures whilst fulfilling different performance levels intended by the owner.

 Abstract

The present investigation was carried out on the time series data from 1996-2016 (21 years including 2016). The secondary data were collected from Directorate of Agriculture, 2018, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India. The Regression analysis and Autoregressive Models were fitted. However, based on Adjusted-R square ((R^2 ) ?), Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), Theils U statistic and F-chow statistic test the Quadratic model in regression analysis was found best fit for the estimation of production of garden pea. Whereas, on the basis of Akaikes Information Criterion (AIC), RMSE, Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Absolute Percent Error (MAPE) and Ljung-Box coefficient were selected ARIMA (2, 2, 0) as the best fit model for estimation of garden pea.

 Abstract

Abstract: ?r?madbhagabadg?t? has been hailed as one of the greatest religious discourses of the Bh?sma period of Mah?bh?rata. The exhortations of the G?t? have a direct impact on peoples lives, specially where modern society is in danger. At this situation the valuable words of the G?t? help them to get right direction. The splendor of the world always brings excessive addiction to human life. According to the ?r?madbhagabadg?t?, this addiction is at the root of all destruction. The G?t? has always said to give up addiction. But it is not so easy. Sensory restraint is very important in this case. self-restraint, or sensory restraint is beautifully described in ?r?madbhagabadg?t?. How the Gita has depicted about sense restraint and its impac on human life has been described in my research paper.
