Present investigation includes evaluation of free radical scavenging potential of Cassia siamea lam. (C.siamea) belonging to family Fabaceae, an important traditional medicinal herb in the Indian system of medicine. The dried powdered material of C.siamea flowers macerated to prepare total methanolic extract and solvent extraction technique prepared various fractions such as n-hexane fraction, ethyl acetate fraction and Chloroform fraction. Experimental design to screen extract and various fractions for its free radical scavenging potential by determining Hydroxyl radical scavenging activity, Superoxide radical scavenging activity, Phosphomolybdenum Assay (PM), Cupric ion reducing capacity assay (CUPRAC). Ascorbic acid was used as a standard drug. The results were revealed that C.siamea flowers have significant antioxidant potential when compared with standard. Our finding suggested that, the ethyl acetate fraction of C.siamea flowers having better efficacy and significant antioxidant activity. This work enlightens the antioxidant potential of this plant and also helps to support the traditional medicinal claim and believes of this plant in therapeutics.

Healthcare systems using Artificial Intelligence (AI) have the potential to aid Indian doctors to provide quick and accurate diagnoses, as well as, perform surgical operations. The present study is an attempt to explore various psychological correlates that can determine the attitude towards the use of AI in healthcare held by a doctor. The first objective of this study is to determine the attitude towards AI held by the doctors and the second is to explore how the Big 5 personality traits and Resistance to Change of the doctors are capable of predicting the attitude. Participants consisted of 68 doctors (47 males, 21 females). The age of the sample ranged from 22-66 years (mean = 44.38, SD = 18.579). A self-constructed attitude scale, NEO-FFI and Resistance to Change scale were used to collect data. Results revealed that 58.8% of the doctors held positive attitudes, while the rest were negative. Age, neuroticism, extraversion, openness and resistance to change are the significant correlates of attitude towards AI. Openness and Resistance to change are the most significant predictors of attitude towards the use of AI in healthcare among doctors. This information may be used to seek out doctors, who would be more likely to adopt AI healthcare systems, indirectly through their dispositional characteristics.

Drug side effects are the leading problem of death in the world, and drug or prescription mistakes cause tens of thousands of mortality worldwide each year. Most of these mistakes are made by caregivers taking the incorrect medication or dosage due to obscure handwriting, drug interactions, confusing medicine names, etc. The introduction of speech perception mobile applications can reduce some of these mistakes, as prescription information can be obtained and heard through voice responses rather than medical script. This article explains the purpose and implementation of a prescription mobile app for developing healthcare services. You can dial the exact number and obtain the application from your phone. This method can save wealth and life in medical centers throughout the world, particularly in developing countries where the practice process is generally cumbersome and paper-based. In India, inadequate drugs kill thousands of people and normal illness causes severe disability. The script identifies your voice. It performs an essential role in effective human-computer intercommunication. Speech recognition scripts can be used as triggers for virtual application numbers. The two scenarios above are varied, but you can connect them to solve the problem of speech medicine. This document provides a framework for prescribing drugs using speech recognition technology. The system proposed in this paper is targeted to those doctors and clinics that are still using paper-based handwritten prescriptions and cannot afford the existing Electronic Health Record systems available. This system can be fully operated even through a single smartphone. The objective is to avoid taking the incorrect medication for general diseases. The purpose is to bypass the wrong medication for common diseases viz. fever, cough, cold, body pain, etc. by designing a virtual application on voice-based medicine prescription. By implementing a voice-based medical alert system we can deduce the problem of lost prescriptions at the time of review. And we can save paper by introducing digital prescriptions that can be viewed directly from the document file.

An Area of Darkness is a novel that Naipaul describes the India as a darkness area , he thinks that third world countries are such the place where people suffer from humiliation and tyranny, there is no human rights, no equality between men and women. It is an emotional travelogue written during his first visit to India in 1964. Naipauls ironic view on India implies to the decay that society suffers from. In An Area of Darkness, he serves mainly as a representative of the western ideas and visions of the world and stands in contrast to the rest of Indian society. Naipaul writes about what he observed during his journey, India , Pakistan, Malaysia , Indonesia , Ivory coast, Iran, Argentina, Uruguay and so on , were his destinations, describing the societies , peoples and lives in his writings, Naipaul describes the reason why chooses postcolonial societies rather than England as his subject matter for most of his novels and travel books, determined to become a great and well-known writer , also he knows so little about England even he has spent many years in that country.

India has been the country of excellent writers whose works have been appreciated all over the world. The style of writing and the topics covered by the writers has changed over the period of time. Both male and female writers have made exceptional contributions through their creativity and have enlightened us with their thoughts. Kamala Das is one such female writer having done remarkable works and has written about women. Her bold writing style has captivated the attention of many critics in the Indian society. Her work has been analysed and debated by the writers of all generations. One such novel written by her is Alphabet of Lust which talks about female sexual desires and the experience of being an Indian woman. Her book talks about the women side of the story. Until this book was released, the concept of female sexuality did not exist in the society. That era was conservative about women and discussing sexual desires was a taboo for Indian women. This novel of Kamal Das was a breakthrough for the women at that time and people became aware about the female emotions and desires. This paper talks about the portrayal of women in Kamala Das novel Alphabet of Lust.

This research study tests the validity of the weak form of the efficient market hypothesis in the Malawi Stock Exchange. The period covered by this study spans January 01, 2016, to December 31, 2019. Parametric and non-parametric statistical tests including the Augmented Dickey-Fuller test, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov (K-S) test, the ShapiroWilk test, and the runs test are applied to the daily return series of three market indices of the MSE, viz, the MASI, the DSI, and the FSI, over the study period. The results of the tests of normality indicate that the return series of all the market indices are not normally distributed. The return series are found to be leptokurtic and negatively skewed. Furthermore, the results of the Augmented Dickey-Fuller test show that the return series of the MASI, the DSI, and the FSI are stationary. More, the runs test rejects the hypothesis that the return series are random. It is therefore concluded that the random walk hypothesis does not hold for the Malawi Stock Exchange since successive price changes are not random. Hence, the Malawi Stock Exchange is not weak-form efficient
