 Abstract

Abstract� A new strain of corona virus, also known as COVID-19, was confirmed in the Wuhan city of China in December 2019 and has spread around 188 countries around the globe causing the WHO to declare it as a global pandemic. This research is an attempt to find out how psychological factors affects to the changes in human behaviour during this COVID-19 lockdown. Three prominent psychological factors were considered. The three prominent psychological factors are motivation, perception and attitude. A structured questionnaire consisting of 18 questions (including demographic data) was prepared and 388 responses were recorded. The data collected from this questionnaire was reviewed and analyzed. Deductive approach of research was used in order to study how psychological factors affects to change in human behaviour during this lockdown. The objectives of the study was to see whether people are aware of the behavioural changes that they might experience during this lockdown. It was observed that majority of the people were aware of the behavioural changes that they may experience during this lockdown. Major behaviour changes experienced were laziness, becoming ill-tempered and anxiety. Chi square test and Mann-Whitney U test were used to find relationship between psychological factors and changes in human behaviour. Findings from this research suggests that people are unable to deal with this lockdown. There are certain coping mechanisms that people are using to better deal with this lockdown. Coping mechanisms such as doing household chore, office work, using social media and internet were majorly used by the people to deal with this lockdown. In these troubled times of an outbreak of a pandemic it is important to understand how psychological factors affects to change in human behaviour. This understanding will help us to better deal with the situation and minimizing the impact of this disease on human health.

 Abstract

Public distribution system is a structure that is sponsored by a government and includes chain of shops trusted with the work of distributing basic food and non-food commodities to the disadvantaged group of the society at very low prices. The central and state governments shared the accountability of regulating the Public distribution system. While the central government is responsible for procurement, storage, transportation, and bulk allocation of food grains, State governments hold the responsibility for distributing the same to the consumers through the established system of Fair Price Shops. State governments are also responsible for operational responsibilities including allocation and identification of families below poverty line, issue of ration cards, supervision and monitoring the functioning of FPSs system (PDS) is an Indian food security system. This paper tries and attempt to study the opportunities and challenges of Public distribution system in India.

 Abstract

Aim:-to find the occurrence of visual related conditions that affect the performance of slow learner in the school & efficacy of vision therapy on their performance. Materials & method:-Total of 130 students of a slow learner school were screened and examined. Out of 130, 32 students of 8 to 23 years of age who had visual skill defects were selected for a comprehensive examination with more stress on ocular motility, accommodative facility, saccades, reading rate and hand eye co ordination. Student�s performance was also evaluated before and after the vision therapy with the help of questionnaire answered by parents and teachers.30 in office sitting for 45 minute allotted for each student, and home vision therapy procedure was also explained to the parents. Complete visual skill examination was performed after 15th and 30th sitting. Results:-Out of 130, 32 students were found to have visual skill related defects.66 were normal and rest 32 students had other vision related conditions. Two type of statistical analysis under SPSS version17.0 shows strong statistical correlation (p<0.05) which also show its clinical significance. Conclusion: - slow learner students have visual skill related difficulties like normal students. Considering the IQ level of slow learners the duration of vision therapy should be more to achieve the desired result. This study shows vision therapy significantly improves their academic performance & daily routine activities, by simply working on their visual skills. This improvement in their performance has helped in boosting their confidence & acceptance in family & in social life.

 Abstract

The main objective of Employee Performance Analysis is to create an analysis model that makes performance management at individual employee level simpler. We aim to use the Data Mining classification technique for the extraction of knowledge significant for predicting and monitoring employee performance using previous appraisal records and other employee related data such as experience, age, academic qualification, professional training, gender and marital status. Decision tree is the main data Mining tool used to build the classification model, where several classification rules are generated. The resultant data will be used by our model to analyse and predict the performance levels of new individuals thus making the recruitment process simpler

( Nanda Kishore Das a brilliant scholar in English passed from Calcutta University jumped in to the National main stream of Freedom Movement. He was the first satyagrahis in first batch of Odisha who joined the Non-cooperation Movement while studying at Calcutta University. After the suspension of Non-cooperation Movement, he completed his education but his family life was very miserable and pitiable. There was a serious break down of his wife�s health and there was no other source to maintain his day to day life. Pandit Gopabandhu Das, vetearan Congress leader could foresee his difficulties and took him to Sakhigopal, Puri where he established a School in 1909. Nanda Kishore Das was busy engaging as a teacher in that School from the year 1922 to 1926. Being a English teacher he imparted English education in a lucid manner and won the heart of the children, staff and the guardian. He was a man of method, disciplinarian and popular for his unique method of teaching)
