Lai, or Lais are a nationality presently inhabiting the Chin State and other parts of Myanmar, the state of Mizoram and parts of Manipur (India), and Chittagong Division of Bangladesh. Besides the self-appellation Lai, they are also known as Chin in Myanmar, and Pawi in India. The available historical accounts of the Lai at the time of the advent of the British in the Chin-Luhsai-Kuki land towards the end of the 19th century clearly point to the hypothesis that the Lai were a nation that was in the making.

Infertility is defined as failure to conceive within one or more years of unprotected coitus. While in Ayurveda, vandhyatva is failure to achieve a child rather than pregnancy as Garbha Strav (Repeated abortions) & Mrutvatsa (Repeated still births) are also included in types of infertility. Acharya Charaka has a unique drug classification according to its action known as Charakokta Mahakashaya. Prajasthapan Mahakashaya is amongst it. The drugs in Prajasthapan Mahakashaya has active principles which acts as fertility modulator. Many conditions can cause disturbance of Garbhpotpadak Samagris which are the basic factors in Garbhotpatti that is Rutu (fertile period), Kshetra (healthy reproductive system), Ambu (nutrition for the foetus) and Beej (ovum). Prajasthapan Dravyas acts on all these four factors with their special properties and shows miraculous effects in female infertility. Prajasthapan Mahakashaya includes 10 herbs as- Brahmi, Aindri, Shatavari, Doorva, Patala, Guduchi, Haritaki, Kutaki, Bala, and Priyangu having some specific actions called as Prabhava. Drugs in this Kashaya helps to remove Doshas from female reproductive system, improves strength and promotes conception. It also has Rasayana properties through which it improves qualities of Dhatus and improves rejuvenation. We can use this Kashaya in all conditions involving obstruction in the path of conception and leads excellence in progeny. This is a literary study based on review of Prajasthapan Mahakashaya and female infertility.

There is a vast interest in the development of organic nanomaterials for biomedical applications. With unique properties such as high surface area to volume ratio, stability, inertness, and ease of functionilisation gives a wide range of applications. There is a fast growth on the uses of organic nanomaterials for regeneration of bone, cartilage, skin and dental issues. The application of organic nanomaterials in the field of nanomedicine is unique and futuristic. Organic nanoparticles give numerous advantages that enhance the simplicity of their preparation from biocompatible, biodegradable polymers and their stability in biological fluids during storage. With aim of providing useful insights to help further development efficient and for large scale production, this review paper focus on different types of organic nanomaterials, its properties and applications mainly used in medical sector

Caste system as an institution whose very existence is based on differential power relations, warrants the question of what constitutes this deeper dynamics of the power. Power by its very definition, institutes a certain individual or group of individuals overarching authority to command a situation, even steer others behaviour to reach their preferred outcomes, even at the cost of others. Power, in this sense, is characterized as a positional good for its very value lies in its scarce availability and the power one person holds is contingent upon the powerlessness of another individual. The power held by the upper caste would have no value if its not through rendering the lower castes powerless. There is a case to be made about how persistence of durable inequality in the caste system is a function of differential power equation and instead of there being a discernible source of power, it stems from the practices that constitute the system.

Abstract Purpose: This Paper investigates the Cause and effect relationship between Financial Parameters and Corporate Reputation in India from 2015 to 2019 for the top 10 BSE listed Banks. Methodology: Granger Causality test is performed for examining the cause and effect relationship between Financial Parameters like Credit Deposit Ratio (CD), Deposit to Total Assets Ratio (DTA), Return on Equity Ratio (ROE), Interest Expenses to Interest Earned Ratio (IEIE), Profit Margin Ratio (PM), Equity Multiplier Ratio (EM), Net Interest Margin Ratio (NIM), NPA to Advance Ratio (NPAA) and Corporate Reputation, which indicates the difference between the market value and the book value of the selected Banks. Findings: CD, DTA, EM, having significant cause and effect on Corporate Reputation while ROE, IEIE, PM, NIM, NPAA does not have significant cause on Corporate Reputation. Corporate Reputation does not have significant cause on NIM, NPAA Financial Parameters. Corporate Reputation significantly causes CD, DTA, EM. Research limitations: The findings are specific to Top 10 BSE Listed Banks by market capitalization. To introduce the cause and effect relationship, eight Financial Parameters are selected for the period 2015 to 2019. Practical implications: This study attempts to investigate the cause and effect of Corporate Reputation on financial performance, which contributes to the existing literature by providing the effect of Corporate Reputation that helps banks in taking strategic decisions regarding building and maintaining its Corporate Reputation.
