Abstract: India is on the threshold of a demographic dividend over the next 25 years, due to an increase in the proportion of young and working-age people in the population as a whole. Such a rise in the youth population is a window of opportunity as it reduces the ratio of dependents to total workers leading to higher rates of savings, investment, and growth. This change in the age structure, if properly utilized, will result in a demographic dividend, which provides immense growth opportunities to the nation. But only 50% of Indians were engaged in the labour force in 2018, and 81% of them worked in the informal sector, commonly referred to as the unorganised sectors or the shadow economy. The data provided by the National Sample Survey Organisation (NSSO) show that only 2.4% of the Indian workforce has undergone formal skill training and another 8.6% have received non-formal vocational training. This indicates that only a few young people who have vocational training will enter the labour market. Hence providing employable skills to young people remains an important challenge in capturing the opportunities of the demographic dividend. India faces the dual challenges of the inadequacy of a skilled workforce as well as non-employability of large sections of youth in lacking employable skills. Therefore this paper explored the initiations of Government of India (GOI) as well as Government of Karnataka (GOK) regarding enhancing employability skills through skill development programmes and policies in unorganized sector workers.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is one of the most well-known spices with antimicrobial activity. However, different extraction methods of ginger will result in different antimicrobial properties due to the various substances extracted. This study aimed to compare antimicrobial activity between ethanolic extract and essential oil of ginger against food-borne bacteria grown in 2.1% Mueller Hinton agar. The current mode of treatment based on synthetic drugs is expensive and also causes genetic and metabolic alterations. However, safe and sound mode of treatment is needed to control the diseases development and progression. In this regards, medicinal plant and its constituents play an important role in diseases management via modulation of biological activities

In the rapidly developing biotechnology sector, biosurfactants are evolving into desirable microbial products. These surface-active compounds are produced by a variety of microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, and yeast. They outperform chemical surfactants in a number of areas, including biodegradability, toxicity, compatibility with the environment, selectivity, foaming, and perform specific activities under extreme conditions including temperature, pH, and salinity. Numerous microbes, such as Acinetobacter species, Bacillus species, Candida antartica, Pseudomonas species, and Thiobacillus thiooxidans, create biosurfactants. In the sectors of cosmetics, food processing, medicines, and environmental bioremediation, biosurfactants are important, especially in enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and cleaning up oil spills. The purpose of this review is to provide a comprehensive overview of the classification of biosurfactants, the production of biosurfactants, and its applications in various fields.

Formation of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, establishment of art academies and art institutes in various states, starting of art columns by literary and cultural newspapers and magazines, distribution of awards to artists at the central and state level, etc. were some of the reasons that led to the decline in the art of independent India. Interest increased and there was considerable activity in the Indian art world. Today, many art galleries have been established at the private and state level in the major metros and cities of our country, where there is a rush of new artefacts every week and many artefacts are also sold. Artists have reached abroad. The art world of India is fully active today. It is a strange fact that in the last 45 years, no specific style like 'Bengal School' has been established here. Another basic reason for this is that every modern artist has a different approach and is using a different style. For this reason, it is becoming difficult to create a category for them. Every artist has a different personality and ideology from each other. Despite this diversity, there is an artistic attraction in everything.

Abstract: The Indian Systems of Medicine and Homoeopathy (ISM&H) consist of Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy, and therapies such as Yoga and Naturopathy. Some of these systems are indigenous and others have over the years become a part of Indian tradition. It is probably accurate to say that almost all life forms are afflicted with some type of disease. Disease continues to be the most basic problem faced by humans since the prehistoric times. Evidence for the existence of a well-organized system of medicine in India can be traced back to the archaeological. Ethno-medicine has become an inter-disciplinary science from ancient times, if we studied it comparatively it can lead development of some innovative formulations. Further it also true that knowledge of Botany, Biochemistry, Ethnopharmacology, Phytochemistry and Pharmacognosy are important aspect of herbal medicine and farms the basic of alternative and complimentary system of medicine like Ayurveda. The Present paper is focus on Ethno-medicinal importance and Physicochemical analysis of Capparis L. species which has a wide natural distribution, to treat a variety of ailments.
