 Abstract

The **researcher recount the experience as an intern teacher tasked with teaching English to IXth standard students at a government school, the researcher observed a lack of teamwork among 9th standard students. To address this issue, the researcher conducted a research study to identify the reasons behind it and propose solutions. Academic activities in a school help the students acquire the knowledge and skills to stand on their own feet and to get involved in a task in group or individual. Student's talent and skills are built up and shaped according to the individual's interest. Academic activities are the best means for all round and harmonious growth of the individual. This study revealed peer pressure and lack of interpersonal skills as the main reasons for the issue. To overcome these challenges, the researcher suggests game-based learning & activity-based learning, which can provide opportunities for students to develop teamwork and interpersonal skills. These approaches can encourage collaboration, communication, and problem-solving among students. By implementing these solutions, the researcher believe that teachers can create a more engaging and interactive learning experience, which can improve academic performance and prepare students for their future careers. This research emphasizes the importance of teamwork and provides practical solutions to overcome the lack of teamwork among students.

 Abstract

Whenever we talk about quality education teacher is the focal point of learning process. A professional teacher is characterized by systematized body of knowledge that is unique to the profession. Professionalism focuses on the question of what qualifications and acquired capacities, what competence is required for the successful exercise of an occupation (Englund,1996). The present study focuses on competencies that are inevitable to be a professional teacher. The study categorised the competencies into three main domains named: cognitive, affective and psychomotor domain. Competencies of cognitive domain focuses on planning and implementation of teaching and learning process, competencies of affective domain focuses on professional client relationship, and competencies of psychomotor domain characterized by a body of skills that a teacher should have to make learning interesting and attractive.

 Abstract

Abstract: In order to revamp higher education and bring all the Universities and Colleges under a single umbrella of grading, learning and standards in the country, the University Grants Commission (UGC) in 2014 came up with a scheme called Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with the directive that all Universities and other higher education institutions follow this program from 2015 onwards. The Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) is based on the Cafeteria Approach, where a student can opt subjects from available subjects suited to personal interest as observed in many European and American Universities. The main determined fact behind the CBCS is to have the flexibility of choosing a course by students. Gauhati University implemented the CBCS system at under graduate level from the academic session of 2019 across all disciplines by following the Regulations of the Under Graduate Choice Based Credit System (UGCBCS) Gauhati University, 2019. The main objective of the present paper is to find out the issues and challenges of Choice Based Credit System under Gauhati University. Due to Covid-19 pandemic this new system of education has faced several challenges in order to understand its requirements both the students and teachers in real sense. However, in new normal situation, during the implementation of this system in higher educational institutions, there are many challenges which require attention and discussion in order to put it on the right track.

 Abstract

The recently reported results have shown that even a very tiny but consistent change in the climatic conditions can lead to widespread destruction, which is evident through flash floods, draught and similar other situations. Since, these changes have large impact on the livelihood of the people living in these areas, a comprehensive information of the various parameters that determine the ecological balance of an environmental compartment such as land locked water bodies i.e. lakes is very important. This knowledge has the potential to delineate strategies for management of these lakes. In the backdrop of above information, this study was carried out to determine the seasonal variation of selected physico-chemical and plankton characteristics of lakes present in the Nagpur City of Maharashtra, India. During the course of this study, all the data was generated using standard methods and it (data) was analysed using PASW 18.0 software. The comparative assessment showed that there is significant (p<0.05) seasonal variation in physico-chemical as well as plankton density of surface water of Ambazari and Futala lakes of Nagpur. This information has potential value for designing action tasks that can contain the parameters such as turbidity, dissolved oxygen, total phosphorous, plankton abundance in these lakes.

 Abstract

An oral ulcer is a sore that develops on the oral cavity's membrane. "A breach within the mucosal surface of the buccal cavity," according to the definition. Ulcers are uncovered sores of the surface or mucous membrane in which inflammatory dead tissue is removed. Despite their significant incidence, the etiopathogenesis of many diseases is unknown. It's frequently painful, and it's accompanied by redness, swelling, and bleeding in the affected area. The mouth ulcer commonly causes pain and discomfort, and it might affect a person's eating preferences as it heals. According to how they present and progress, they might be classed as acute or chronic. Trauma, recurring aphthous stomatitis, Behcet's illness, bacterial and viral infections, allergic reactions, and bad drug reactions are all linked to acute oral ulcers. chronic oral ulcers are linked to illnesses like oral lichen planus. Ulcer is common disorder which is among people. Many types of ulcer present but mouth ulcer is, healing it frequently causes pain and discomfort and may change the person's eating preferences. The two most frequent causes of oral ulceration are aphthous stomatits and local trauma. A number of synthetic drug are available to treat mouth ulcers. But these drug are expensive and are likely produce more side effects when compared and to herbal medicines.  Abstract

ABSTRACT: Introduction: Transition from being a student to working as a registered nurse is not just a phenomenon that begins with familiarization of the new workplace but it is an experience that influences the professional lives of newly joined nurses. Transition from a student to a fully pledged registered nurse presents with new challenges, stressors, and inconsistencies in professional practise for the new recruit. In order to provide effective nursing care nurses must be able to identify, manage and understand level of transitional shock not only in themselves but also in others. Studies have shown that workload in clinical, inadequate development of procedure skills, lack of organization support have strong relationship with level of transitional shock. The present study was conducted to assess level of transitional shock among newly joined staff nurses employed in selected hospitals of city. Objectives: 1. To assess level of transitional shock among newly joined staff nurses employed in selected hospitals of city. 2.To find association between level of transitional shock among newly joined staff nurses employed in selected hospitals of city with their selected demographic variables. Method: A non experimental descriptive research design was used among 100 newly joined staff nurses. Non probability purposive sampling technique was used to select the samples. Tool: A structured 4 point Likert scale was used to assess level of transitional shock. Results: The finding of the study revealed that maximum 66% nurses have moderate transitional shock, 23% nurses have mild transitional shock and 11% nurses have severe transitional shock. Items like Development of good management skills (40%), lack of support by nursing administration (39%), conflict with senior (38%), working without breaks (47%), Disagreement concerning the treatment of a patient(38%), Being blamed for anything that goes wrong (38%) was frequently stressful among nurses. The demographic variables area of working, hours of duty per week, Do you do overtime, number of hours overtime duty done in a week and is induction training conducted were found to have significant association with the level of transitional shock. More the overtime, more is the transitional shock among newly joined staff nurses. Majority of the staff nurses for whom induction training was not conducted had moderate transitional shock as compared to those who for whom induction training was conducted.

 Abstract

The importance of freshwater has been realized the most in today's world and time. This is primarily because of the lack of it, which is to be blamed to the humankind for their discriminate use of this finite commodity. The technologically advanced countries have some data that they can use for better management of these precious resources i.e. freshwater lakes and rivers. The lakes in particular are at higher risk because of their landlocked nature, where the pollutants are easy to enter and difficult to exit. In view the above, this study was carried out to determine the prevailing situation of selected lakes of study area i.e. Nagpur District of Maharashtra vis-s-vis certain hydrobiological parameters. The data collection was carried out by conducting survey of the lakes and sample processing in a certified laboratory. Based on the study results, it was found that the primary utility of these lakes is for maintaining groundwater table, and two out of three lakes are at high risk of pollution due to anthropometric activities. The seasonal variation data showed that fish productivity and phytoplankton abundance was high during the summer season, while zooplankton abundance was high during the monsoon season. Overall, the data shows that there is a need to intervene by the local governing bodies to preserve these lakes.

 Abstract

The factors are isolated, and specific vital transforms are utilized, in the customary techniques for taking care of starting limit esteem issues for linear partial differential equations with consistent coefficients. Thus, they are compelled to specific equations with remarkable limit conditions. Here, we look at a method created by Fokas that joins the ordinary strategies as extraordinary cases. Nonetheless, this approach additionally empowers the similarly unequivocal reaction. of issues for which there is no customary arrangement. Furthermore, explanation is plausible. which limit esteem puzzles are appropriately planned and which are not. We give occurrences of issues with the restricted stretch and the positive half-line. In an assortment of logical and designing fields, the Fokas Transform Technique (FTM) has turned into a powerful numerical instrument for settling partial equations with linear turn of events. The qualities and shortcomings of the FTM are completely examined in this theoretical, which is trailed by a conversation of imaginative enhancements intended to build its value and viability. A linear evolution partial condition is transformed from its unique space into the perplexing plane, where it very well may be settled all the more rapidly, as per the essential reason of the FTM. Albeit this approach has been effective in different circumstances, it experiences issues when used to certain kinds of issues, for example, those with unpredictable limit conditions, singularities, or profoundly oscillatory way of behaving.
