ABSTRACT: Pilonidal sinus is chronic acquired condition occuring at the midline pit situated in midgluteal cleft at postanal region, which causes pain, discomfort, embarrassment and absence of mind from daily activites. Prolong sitting, obesity, repeated irritation due to hair. The incidence of the disease is calculated to be 26 per 100,000 people seen more in males than females, as males have more hairs, the buttocks moves and hairs breaks off by friction and collect in the cleft which makes local inflammation turns to sinus formation. In Ayurvedic science acharya Sushruta mentioned eight types of sinuses as nadivrana. Among these pilonidal sinuses can be considered under shalyaj nadivrana (sinus due to foreign body). Case study Aim and Objective: This study aims to estimate simple excision and tension free primary closure and to study its effectiveness in term of operating and healing time. Result: The study involved a median age male patient (27 years). Mean operation time was 25-30 minutes. patient had full primary healing without any complication. No hematoma or seroma or wound infection and developed recurrence. hospital stay was 2 days, patient terms of healing time, complications, and rate of recurrence went back to his work within 3 weeks. Dissucion and conclusion: Excision and tensionsfree primary closure have been found to be uncomplicated treatments associated to lower wound infection rates, shorter hospital stays, lower recurrence, early wound recovery, and brief absences from work. Surgery can be easily performed and preferred for cases of non-recurrent pilonidal sinus and cyst.

Abstract of Article The school of Demographic philosophy favours Uniform Civil Code as it broadens the pace of sustainable development. Civil code includes the law of marriage, divorce, succession, adoption, inheritance, alimony and maintenance etc which governs mainly a family and its property concerns. Different communities of India are practicing their personal laws being developed by their own society for several thousand years which is recognised at present through the legislation of government of India as well. The requirement of Uniform Civil Code (UCC) has three aspects to consider. First of all we have to analyse the need of social and religious reforms then the complexities of inter-social relations and finally the need of political interference. All these three parameters have some philosophical aspects like peace and coherence, adjustment and co-operation as well as demographic dividends for the nation.

The medicinal properties of ginger have long been known and it is used not only to improve taste but also as a spice to increase nutritional value. A large amount of agricultural waste, including cow dung and other bio waste, exists in rural areas but is not recycled or properly utilized. Tiwari, KP and others said. Organic waste is an alternative to use for agriculture. Organic waste as a fertilizer not only provides nutrients and growth but also increases the soil's water- holding capacity. The experiments to identify suitable bio organic compounds were conducted in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh. A comparative study on the anti-inflammatory activity of phytochemicals in cultivated and commercial ginger (obtained from the local market) was conducted, analyzed and documented. The results of this study also support the use of planting materials such as organic fertilizer and cocopeat in sustainable agriculture to provide nutrients to plants and increase productivity. This means that the combined use of fertilizer resources (chemical fertilizers, organic fertilizers) and organic growing substrates will result in more effective anti-inflammatory activity of ginger phytochemicals.

Purpose: to describe a patient who developed Non-Arteritic Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy after ingestion of sildenafil for erectile disfunction. Methods: Observational case report. Results: A 47 yr old male developed diminution of vision in right eye after ingestion of tablet sildenafil 50 mg from last 3-4 days. It was sudden in onset, gradually progressive. His best corrected visual acuity was 6/6 in both eyes. fundus examination shows disc oedema with tortuous vessels in right eye and normal optic disc in left eye. Humphrey Visual field analyser (HFA) shows spared central island of visual field in right eye while left eye had normal visual field. A diagnosis of Non-Arteritic Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy (NAION) of right eye was made. Conclusion : Sildenafil may be associated with NAION and a small cup to disc ratio is associated with high risk of developing NAION after sildenafil intake.
