Fluoride can enter the body through drinking water. Fluorosis is a slow, progressive and crippling malady affecting most of the organs in the body where flouride in drinking water is > 1.0ppm. Fluoride has been identified in 25 Countries like India. But West Bengal has identified for most fluoride affected district namely Purulia. Fluorosis is a disease caused by excessive ingestion of fluoride in drinking water injuries for health. High fluoride concentration in the District is commonly associated with rural area, arid and semi-arid climate, granites and granites and gneisses. A cross sectional survey of school going children will be conducted at 45 Primary schools of Purulia District to find out the range of fluoride level urine and water and biochemical analysis of urine and water sample will be carried out of high level of fluoride in same school of Purulia District. A school survey was conducted has been carried out in 45 fluoride affected schools in Purulia district. Urine and water sample has been collected from School under purulia district.

The disc brake is a device for slowing or stopping the rotation of a wheel. A brake disc (rotor), usually made of cast iron or ceramic composites (as well as Kevlar, carbon and silica), is coupled to the wheel and/or the axle. To stop the wheel, resistance material in the form of brake pads (mounted on a device called a brake calliper) is forced hydraulically, pneumatically, mechanically or electromagnetically against both sides of the disc.Repetitive braking of the vehicle leads to heat generation during each braking event. Transient Thermal Analysis of the Rotor Disc of Disk Brake is aimed at evaluating the performance of disc brake rotor of a car under braking conditions and there by assist in disc rotor design and analysis.

The main objective of this work is to study the various optimization techniques for reducing power consumption in VLSIcircuit systems without any tradeoff with the desired and necessary tasks it has to perform. As VLSI circuit systems are used in a wide range of applications, there is a need to meet the design metrics of embedded systems like power, time to market, flexibility, robustness, cost, performance and many more. Power consumption is particularly an important design metric for battery powered embedded systems (small sized batteries can have very limited lifetime). Power optimization can be implemented using various techniques like Dynamic Voltage scaling, Dynamic Frequency Scaling, Software Optimization, Power down mode and Sleep mode. However, power consumption is also very important in systems running from power supplies, since the IC chips can become hot very quickly when their clock speeds are increased. Minimizing power consumption in such circumstances is very much desirable to improve reliability and system cost.

The study on Travancore during Second World War, 1939-1935 is an attempt to highlight the political, economic and social development of Travancore during Second World War. This period was an important period because Travancore had to contribute to the world war because her alliance with the British. On the home-front Travancore had to face the political development, the freedom struggle and economic problem of the state. During this period, the problem in the coir industry, the Quit India Movement, the food crisis and the work of the congress took place. This study also highlight the attitude of the congress party when the war broke out and how it participated in the war and the economic and social effects of the war.

The highly competitive automotive business industry requires manufacturers to pay more attention to passenger comfort and riding quality. This has forced designers to direct their attention to the development of high quality engine mounting devices, with traditional physical prototyping and testing being gradually replaced by virtual prototyping and numerical simulations. In this project, we are doing to reduce the weight and vibration by changing the size of the engine Mounting bracket for FSAE Car using CATIA and ANSYS software. Vehicle engine mounting system consisting of engine and three or four mounts are connected to vehicle structure.

Gears are used for speed and torque variation. since gears are rotating parts gear teeth tends to wear and thus crack occurs, to overcome this crack and to obtain higher efficiency gearbox can be analyzed before production. Spur gears and the shafts are designed using SOLIDWORKS and then it is subjected to stress analysis in ANSYS. Stress concentration factor is compared under varied loads. The main objective for carrying out this analysis is to improve the life of the gear. After the analysis of gears from existing gearbox the reason for failure was found. The reason for failure of the gear was due to wear of gear teeth edges. This is caused due to high stress concentration along the gear teeth edges. To relieve these stress concentration gear material can be changed so that the resulting stress can be reduced according to the properties of the materials used. The resulting stress of all the materials are compared and the best material is chosen.
