In this paper the reflection characteristics of photonic crystal is observed. Under certain condition, one dimensional dielectric lattice displays total reflection of the incident light. The thickness of the layers, the refractive indices should be carefully chosen for better reflections. This will find application in photonic reflector mirrors. The simulation results show the reflection coefficient for different cases. The wavelengths which are blocked are said to be in photonic bandgap. The signal outside the photonic band gap are transmitted. It is possible to design photonic crystals to transmit a single frequency or to reflect a single frequency or signal with narrow bandwidth. Defects are introduced for improving the performance.

For the purpose of measuring the consumer preferences for products or services, the technique used is the conjoint analysis. The conjoint analysis is one of the methods of finding the possible reaction of the consumer on a particular product or a particular service. One of the basic problems in performing conjoint analysis is how to generate experimental designs. The purpose of an experimental design is to give a rough overall idea as to the shape of the experimental response surface, while only requiring a relatively small number of runs. These designs are expected to be orthogonal and balanced in an ideal case. In practice, though, it is hard to construct optimal designs and thus constructing of near optimal and efficient designs is carried out. In this paper, review on the basic criteria of the design efficiency and some algorithms will be discussed which can be used for its construction.

In the modern era of globalization, it has become a challenge to business houses to keep the stakeholders in fold and keep natural environment safe, as this is the biggest need of time. While we are committed to faster and more inclusive growth, we need to pay attention to the problem of sustainability. No progress can afford to avoid the environmental cost of economic activity, nor allow the exhaustion and unsustainable deterioration of natural resources. Unfortunately, the understanding of development in many countries, and our own past practices, suggests that this can easily take place unless concrete measures are taken at early stages. Companies too have been on target by this potholed development and as a result, their contributions to society are under severe scrutiny. With the approval of the Companies Act, 2013, the corporate social responsibility mandate (CSR) was formally introduced into the board of directors of Indian companies This paper is an attempt to provide insights about CSR and examine the trend and sector wise CSR expenditure by firms under the recently enacted Companies Act, 2013. The industry has responded optimistically to the reform measure undertaken by the government. Nowadays the increasing responsiveness about CSR & changing environment forces the companies to contribute for CSR fund for different activities. All corporate should endeavour and bring about a change in the current social situation in India in order to have an effective and lasting solution to the social woes.

To find the power of visuals and art a project on National Recourses were identified. Ensure the respondent level, on creative thinking, visualization and visual communication through this project. Aim of the project was (i) to stimulate creativity, power of thinking and communications kills through visuals. (ii) Understanding level and problem solving on design. (iii) To handle the elements and principles of design to create interest and responses. Open house exposition organized on Natural Resources was showed to the society comprising of field experts, academicians, designers and students. The result shows the awareness on the targeted project created impact among the society through visuals as an effective medium of communication.

Abstract Buddhism is a path of practice and spiritual development leading to Insight into the true nature of reality. Buddhist practices like meditation are means of changing yourself in order to develop the qualities of awareness, kindness, and wisdom. The experience developed within the Buddhist tradition over thousands of years has created an incomparable resource for all those who wish to follow a path - a path which ultimately culminates in Enlightenment or Buddhahood. An enlightened being sees the nature of reality absolutely clearly, just as it is, and lives fully and naturally in accordance with that vision. This is the goal of the Buddhist spiritual life, representing the end of suffering for anyone who attains it. Because Buddhism does not include the idea of worshipping a creator god, some people do not see it as a religion in the normal, Western sense. The basic tenets of Buddhist teaching are straightforward and practical: nothing is fixed or permanent; actions have consequences; change is possible. So Buddhism addresses itself to all people irrespective of race, nationality, caste, sexuality, or gender. It teaches practical methods which enable people to realize and use its teachings in order to transform their experience, to be fully responsible for their lives. There are around 350 million Buddhists and a growing number of them are Westerners. They follow many different forms of Buddhism, but all traditions are characterized by non-violence, lack of dogma, tolerance of differences, and, usually, by the practice of meditation. Buddhism was expanded in northern Pakistan and northeastern Afghanistan became a center of Buddhist learning and culture, in particular, innovative sculpture, under the Kushans. The Buddha statues of Bamiyan, with their Roman draperies, belong to the Gandharan idiom, as do the numerous stupas scattered throughout the Afghan mountains.

Over past decades, In India education has become one of the basic needs to survive. To favour Indian constitution has made education as one of a fundamental right. India ranks third position in Higher education in the world and it becomes major source for a person to sustain himself in this Information age. But the major purpose of education starting from primary school to higher education is to retain and deliver the knowledge on demanded situations, in which we have failed in earlier days as the learning process was vague and tough. But the new technique Edutainment which means Education through Entertainment made the learning process easy. The growing technologies in this digital age with social media and wireless network facilitated the use of tools involved in edutainment. To find the effectiveness of Edutainment in Higher Education among students qualitative experimental research methodology was adopted with targeted control group were pre test and post test were conducted with a e-learning content with group 1 and group 2, were feedbacks and opinions were collected after post test.
