Increasing the coefficient of performance of conventional air conditioning system by adopting the method of sub cooling. Due to sub cooling the saturated liquid at the outlet of condenser is sub cooled which will results in increase in the refrigerating effect. The sub cooling is done by extracting the heat from condenser by employing the tubing (Heat exchanger) between the fan and the condenser. The tubing is placed parallel to the condenser and the fan blows the cool air from the tubing. Tubing consist of combination of partial refrigerant taken from the evaporator outlet and the coolant which is circulated using a pump. This will result in extraction of extra amount of heat from the refrigerant owing through the condenser. Hence the sub cooling is achieved . This will also ensure the constant supply of refrigerant in saturated vapour phase in the compressor and hence the compressor life will increase providing higher overall efficiency of the system. The use of coolant for condenser cooling shows positive response. By implementing this kind to reforms in the conventional air conditioning system we can increase the coefficient of performance and also increase the power saving of the conventional air conditioning system. The average cop improved obtained to be 50 percent so that Power consumption is reduced by 20-25 percent.

The phase transition temperatures and phases in ferroelectric series of 2-(4- n alkanoyloxy benzylidenamino) benzothiazoles ( where n=12 and 16 ) are studied using polarizing micro scope (POM) and it reveals the occurrence of SmA phase. Dielectric parameter studied as a function of temperature can be used to determine the phase transitions temperature in LCs. The phase transitions are in good agreement with the dielectric studies data.

This article deals with the double diode MATLAB modelling of a photovoltaic module. In this paper, double diode model was developed using the fundamental equations. To validate the simulink/ MATLAB model., developed model results are compared with the experimental data sheet. The developed double diode model is operated at the different operating conditions i.e. at the irradiances 1000W/m2 and 800 W/m2; the temperatures 250 C and 200 C. The required resistances are extracted by using the newton-rapshon method. The simulated results are perfectly coinciding with the experimental values.

The dissemination of shock waves through any medium results in change in the property on fluids, this is because of the characteristics of the shock wave. This paper deals with shock wave interaction on fluids. The strength of the shock is determined by its mach number. Initially the experiment is carried in water sample taken from our institute location. The experiment is done by changing the number of shockwaves.From our initial experimental results we found that change in salinity content of the water . On Continuing this idea, we are trying to carry out experiments on shock treated water to find mineral changes.

Digital watermarking is a branch of information system security that finds tremendous applications in the modern era of internet and digital data exchange. Specifically, digital image watermarking finds vast applications in medical image processing, satellite images and related fields. In this paper, a blind and robust watermarking approach using DWT and SVD based transformations is presented. A given color image partitioned into RGB color planes and the entropy of each of the plane is computed for choosing the optimal plane for watermark embedding. The chosen plane is then segmented into non-overlapping blocks and watermarking bits are embedded into each of the blocks separately, considering the human visual system (HVS) characteristics based on the entropy values. For each of the block, the 2 level DWT is performed which transforms the image into four sub-bands namely HH, HL, LH and LL bands. Subsequently, Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) is performed on the HH band. The HH band is chosen to provide a robust watermarking as it contains most of the information contained in the original signal. Alternatively, LL band can be chosen to implement fragile watermarking scheme with a high PSNR values. To embed the watermark bits, the U and V matrix values are suitably modified to embed a zero or one. As compared to the S matrix of SVD transform, the embedding of the watermarking bits into the U and V singular matrices gives a much robust watermarking with low false positive rate and hence, are preferred when robustness is critical issue. The proposed technique is compared with those proposed by Nasrin M. et.al. and the simulation results established that better robustness and imperceptibility is achieved as indicated through PSNR.
