In the realm of 3D human shape estimation, this research introduces an innovative network distinguished by its seamless integration of volumetric feature transformation, a technique designed to merge diverse image features into the 3D space for the precise recovery of surface geometry. Anchored by an extensive dataset comprising 7000 real-world human models, our method, underpinned by a unique architecture, exhibits exceptional proficiency in the challenging domain of single-image 3D human model estimation. Confronting persistent challenges related to the dynamic estimation of human pose and body shape from 3D scans over time, we propose PIFuHD (Pixel-aligned Implicit Function) as a groundbreaking solution. PIFuHD facilitates end-to-end deep learning, enabling the accurate digitization of highly detailed clothed humans from a single image, surpassing previous benchmarks with high-resolution reconstructions on the Render People dataset. A notable feature of our approach lies in its adeptness at recovering fine details, even in occluded regions of the human form. This is achieved by transforming the conventional shape regression process into an aligned image-to-image translation problem. Leveraging a partial texture map as input, our method skillfully estimates detailed normal and vector displacement maps, thereby enhancing clothing representation on a low-resolution smooth body model. Within the expansive landscape of 3D human shape estimation, our multi-level architecture emerges as a beacon of innovation, effectively balancing contextual breadth and high resolution. Significantly, our method outperforms existing techniques by harnessing the potential of 1k-resolution input images, resulting in markedly enhanced single-image reconstructions.

The porous concrete matrix is greatly strengthened when reinforced with steel fibres that are divided equally throughout its whole mass, causing the matrix to behave drastically differently from traditional concrete with regard to its qualities. Owing of the significant benefits brought about by incorporating fibres to concrete, Fibres Reinforced Concrete (FRC) may be used wisely and advantageously in several applications. In India, these fibres have been utilized in the past employed in several sizable projects for the building of highway overlays, pavements, industrial floors, etc. The experimental findings, concrete with SFRC with metakaolin and glass powder admixtures were the main focus of this study. In this project, concrete M30 quality with SFRC percentages of volumes 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5% and 6% was utilized. Cement and fine aggregate were also substituted with kaolinite and glass powder in amounts of 5 percent, 10 percent, 15 percent, 20percent, 25 percent & 30 percent. The water to cement ratio should be 0.38. For the purposes of this project, 63 cubes, 63 cylinders, and 63 beams were cast with the aforementioned percentage of steel fibre, metakaolin & glass powder and they were put through compression, flexural and tensile tests. The result is evaluated against conventional concrete. The compressive, flexural & split tensile loads of concrete at a water-cement ratio of 0.38 very slightly increased when steel fibres were employed. Steel fibres can therefore be utilized to prevent concrete cracks and drying shrinkage.

BACKGROUND: A large number of children suffer from behavioural problems during their development. Many of these problems are transient and may not even be noticed. At times, however, the extent of these problems and their overall effects on a child's development can be serious (Morita al., Further, children may exhibit these behaviours in one setting and not in others (e.g., at home or in school, but not both) In developed countries, parents tend to seek advice for even minor problems, such as persistent thumb sucking, while in developing countries, major problems, even childhood schizophrenia, may go unattended. An awareness of the prevalence of these problems is important so that appropriate mental health services can be planned and provided for affected children, to improve their prospects for leading healthy, productive lives. OBJECTIVES: 1. To assess the level of knowledge regarding behavioural problems of school age children among mothers in selected schools. 2. To assess the level of attitude regarding behavioural problems of school age children among mothers in selected schools. 3. To find out correlation between level of knowledge and attitude of mothers regarding behavioural problems of school age children in selected schools. 4. To find out association between knowledge and attitude of mothers regarding behavioural problems of school age children in selected schools with selected demographic variables. METHODS AND MATERIALS: A descriptive design was used in the study to accomplish the objectives using non- probability convenient sampling technique for obtaining adequate sample for the study. Study was done on 130 mothers of school going children in selected schools of Guwahati, Assam. Respondents were selected on the basis of inclusion and exclusion criteria; Structured knowledge questionnaire was used to assess the knowledge and 5-point Likert scale was used to assess the attitude level of the mothers regarding behavioural problems of school going children. RESULTS: The analysis revealed that out of 130 mothers of school going children, majority i.e., 92(70.8%) respondents had moderately adequate knowledge, 33(25.4%) respondents had adequate knowledge and 5(3.8%) respondents had inadequate knowledge regarding behavioural problems of school age children. The analysis revealed that out of 130 mothers of school going children, majority i.e., 88(67.7%) respondents had desirable attitude and 42(32.3%) respondents had moderately desirable attitude towards behavioural problems of school age children and no respondents had undesirable attitude. CONCLUSION: From this study, it was concluded that majority of the respondents had moderately adequate knowledge and majority of the respondents had desirable attitude regarding behavioural problems. Therefore, the investigator concluded that, there is a need of awareness to the mothers regarding various behavioural problems among school age children and its impact on later life.

The most crucial component of concrete is Portland cement, which is also a versatile and rather expensive substance. Cement manufacture on a large scale affects the environment negatively and depletes natural resources negatively. Researchers are now using industrial waste materials as an additional cementing element in concrete because of the damage they pose to the environment. The M30 grade of varied water cement ratios of 0.32, 0.35, and 0.38 is used to create high-strength concrete. Instead of increasing the cement content, mineral admixtures (additional cementitious ingredients) are employed. In this study, M30 grade concrete with partial cement substitution by silica fume at levels of 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%, with variable water cement ratios of 0.32, 0.35, and 0.38, is the key parameter under investigation. Compressive strength, flexural strength, and split tensile strength at ages of 7, 14, and 28 days are the subject of a thorough experimental research presented in this project. This article describes the findings of an experimental study on the impact of various silica fume (SF) and water to cement ratios (w/c) on standard concrete.

Resource development, management and governance are crucial components which raise the productivity, protection and institutional arrangements to guide resource management. The practices of land and water Focus on water harvesting and soil conservation which state three objectives (Kerr, 2007): conservation and strengthen the natural resource base, make agriculture and other natural resource-based activities more productive, and rural livelihoods to alleviate poverty. In seasonally dry areas where water and land use practices focus on water harvesting, the natural resource base in question generally includes soil, water, agricultural land, pastures and forests. Steps to strengthen one of these natural resources inevitably affect others and the livelihoods that depend on them. The present paper has made an attempt to examine the different dimensions of the role of micro-level environment elements to sustain the livelihoods of small and marginal farmers. The objective of the paper is to examine the effectiveness of land and water use practices of small marginal farmers and to understand the livelihood security under the existing water and land use practices. The paper is based on a field based study done during 2022 in two community development blocks viz. Labpur and Illambazar of Birbhum District of West Bengal. Water and land use practices in the two community development blocks is to bring together the various dimensions of natural resources development under an overarching perspective of equitable, productive and sustainable development. These local level practices in tune to climate change and locally available resource base are desirable where micro-environment element interventions are more suitable to meet climate change effects at local level.
