In the heart of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, a young boy named Manjul Bhargava was born to a family destined to make its mark on the world of mathematics. His mother, Mira Bhargava, a mathematician herself, introduced him to the enchanting world of numbers at an early age. Manjul's fascination with mathematics blossomed, and he quickly displayed an extraordinary talent for problem-solving and abstract thinking. Even as a child, Manjul's mathematical prowess was evident. He completed all of his high school math and computer science courses by the age of 14, earning him a place at Plainedge High School in North Massapequa, where he graduated as valedictorian. His academic journey continued at Harvard University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1996. Manjul's brilliance caught the attention of renowned mathematician Andrew Wiles, who mentored him during his graduate studies at Princeton University. Under Wiles guidance, Manjul delved into the depths of number theory, a field that explores the properties of integers and their relationships. His doctoral thesis, which generalized the classical Gauss composition law for quadratic forms, was a groundbreaking achievement that earned him the Clay Research Fellowship and the Clay Research Award in 2005. In 2003, at the tender age of 29, Manjul Bhargava became the youngest full professor of mathematics at Princeton University. His appointment marked a new era in the history of the university, as he joined the ranks of illustrious mathematicians who had shaped the field.

After Permanent Settlement in Bengal (1793) the zamindar got the ownership of land. They had to pay revenue instead of the ownership within a certain period of time. The zamindars performed their duties as local administrator and judged the local disputes. In the nineteenth century Bengal various steps were taken to spread the education on behalf of company administration and personal efforts. The zamindars in personal efforts established some schools in their zamindari area. In the 19th and the 20th century Bengal there was a zamindar Raja Sarat Chandra Roy who was fond of education, in Malda. He set up several schools in his zamindari area for development of education. Apart from that he took some social program for the betterment of raiyats. In this paper the different educational and social works of Sarat Chandra Roy have been discussed.

Atmospheric physics is a branch of meteorology and physics that studies the physical processes governing the Earth's atmosphere. It plays a crucial role in understanding weather patterns, climate systems, and environmental changes. This paper explores the fundamental principles of atmospheric physics, including thermodynamics, radiation, fluid dynamics, and cloud microphysics, and highlights recent advancements in the field. The role of atmospheric physics in modeling and predicting climate change, as well as its importance for policy and environmental management, is also discussed.

Indian society is patriarchal and hierarchical, with men considered as superiors and women as second-class citizens in both the public and private spheres. A patriarchal social and ideological system places men above women in terms of decision-making and resource management. It creates inequalities and hierarchies that harm families, communities, and women in particular. The birth of a girl child is not as celebrated by society as it should be since traditional thinking sees the male child as the only one who bears responsibility for the family. As a result, there is an imbalance in the sex ratio or a decline in the child sex ratio in India due to an increase in female foeticide, infanticide, and other types of homicide. Additionally, there is a lack of understanding of the significance of girls' education. One of the causes is that there is a dearth of knowledge on girls' education as a result of society's representation of women's roles as good wives and mothers of male offspring. Thus, an attempt has been made in this article to analyze the Central government's "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" initiative. This scheme has been introduced by the government to achieve a balanced sex ratio and an enhanced rate of literacy among Indian girls

Disaster management platforms like emergency services offer important information to help respond to disasters. Machine learning could help identify this information. Using social media data for emergency response has challenges like reliability, performance measurement, deception, attention focus, and turning observations into usable information. During the Haiti earthquake, many technical volunteers tried to help by sending mapping and translation services via text messages. However, the systems couldn't handle the high volume of information. Despite good intentions, organizations weren't prepared to handle data from outside their networks. They lacked technical staff and tools to use the data effectively. To solve this, we propose using a domain adaptation approach, which learns from available data with labels. Our approach uses the Linear SVC Algorithm with Self-Training. Experimental results show that our method can identify emergency messages relevant to disasters.

A notable piece of Marathi Dalit literature, Baby Kamble's autobiography The Prisons We Broke exposes the multidimensional oppression that Dalit women endure. By analyzing Kamble's autobiography and concentrating on themes of insults, structural exclusion, and persistence, the piece contributes to the conversation on gender and caste oppression and highlights the need to take an intersectional approach to social justice.

Temperature is one of the main factors that affects the growth pattern of Gerbera hybrida, which shows vast variation in morphology and stress adaptation among cultivars. However, little is known about temperature responses of plant growth among different cultivars. In this study, four cultivars were planted in different growth temperatures to investigate the effect of temperature on plant growth of Gerbera hybrida during their vegetative growth. Results showed that the optimum growth temperature of the four cultivars was 20 8C, of which plant height, root length, biomass accumulation, leaf area, and photosynthetic rate were enhanced significantly. Different cultivars showed diverse temperature adaptation ranges, which were related with their genetic background, and the temperature adaptability of cultivar Autumn was the best among the four cultivars. Temperature also had significant effects on photosynthetic rate, which was the main factor shaping plant growth. Our research provides the basic guidance for the growth temperature control in the cultivation of Gerbera hybrida.

In the contemporary period of globalization and liberalization, a revolutionary approach has been welcomed in our nation with the goal of giving the female population more prominence. Due to the ongoing rise in living expenses, it is now crucial for women to participate in the economy in order to support their families. They have demonstrated their abilities not only in a variety of work roles, but also by bravely encroaching on the taboo world of entrepreneurship. In order to achieve financial independence and forge a strong position for themselves in society, women have been behaving like true entrepreneurs, taking risks, managing resources, and accepting challenges.

This study conducts a comprehensive comparative analysis of the cost of management (CoM) across State Cooperative Banks (SCBs) in India for the fiscal year 2018-2019. Utilising secondary data from the National Federation of State Cooperative Banks Ltd. (NAFSCOB) and the Department of Cooperation, Government of India, the study aims to identify variations in CoM among different states and explore the impact of these costs on the efficiency and profitability of SCBs. The analysis includes descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and detailed rankings based on total CoM, CoM per employee, and the percentage of CoM to working capital. Key findings indicate significant variability in CoM, with Haryana, Telangana, and Tripura having the highest costs, while Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, and Manipur exhibit the lowest. A strong positive correlation between CoM and profitability suggests that higher management costs can be associated with better financial performance. Recommendations for optimizing cost management include implementing cost control measures, adopting best practices from efficient states, leveraging technology, and receiving regulatory support. The study concludes that effective cost management is crucial for the sustainability and growth of SCBs, with future research needed on longitudinal trends and the impact of technological advancements.
