One of the world's first cultivated crops is the lentil. Legumes are a cool-season food that are important to humans. A variety of agroecological locations, including Asia, North and South America, Africa, and Oceania, grow lentils. The global output of lentils grew by 107% between 2001 and 2020, from 3.15 to 6.54 million metric tons. With 44% of the world's production, Canada is the top producer of lentils, followed by Australia and India with 18% and 8%, respectively. Typically, lentil crops are planted in the fall and harvested at moisture levels of 16-18% for green lentils and 14-16% for red lentils toward the conclusion of a very hot and dry summer. Lentils are regarded as a nutritious food since they are high in protein, complex carbs, dietary fibre, and folic acid. Numerous bioactive phytochemicals, including flavonoids, total phenolics, phytate, saponins, and tannins, are also found in lentils. An overview of lentil production and trade, consumption patterns, nutritional profile, health advantages, and the contribution of lentil production to environmental sustainability is given in this review article.

Water scarcity is a critical global challenge, particularly in arid and semi-arid regions where conventional water resources are inadequate to meet growing demands. Atmospheric Water Harvesting (AWH) has emerged as a promising alternative water source by extracting moisture directly from ambient air. Among various AWH techniques, adsorption-based atmospheric water harvesting has gained increasing attention due to its ability to operate under low relative humidity conditions and its potential for energy-efficient operation. This paper presents a comprehensive review of adsorption-based atmospheric water harvesting systems with a focus on working principles, adsorbent materials, system configurations, and performance parameters. Various solid adsorbents such as silica gel, zeolites, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), and composite materials are discussed with respect to water uptake capacity, regeneration temperature, and operational feasibility in arid climates. The advantages and limitations of adsorption-based systems are critically analyzed and compared with conventional condensation-based water harvesting methods. In addition, recent advancements, sustainability aspects, and challenges related to material cost, regeneration energy, and system scalability are highlighted. The study identifies key research gaps and emphasizes the need for low-cost, environmentally friendly adsorbents and passive or solar-driven regeneration techniques. This review aims to provide a consolidated understanding of adsorption-based AWH systems and serve as a reference for future research and practical implementation in water-stressed regions.

Abstract Regional political parties constitute a crucial yet underappreciated component of India's federal political system, particularly in peripheral and ethnically diverse states such as Arunachal Pradesh. This article examines the historical evolution, political functions, and contemporary relevance of regional political parties in shaping the state politics of Arunachal Pradesh. By situating the analysis within theoretical frameworks of federalism, regionalism, and identity politics, the study explores how parties such as the People's Party of Arunachal (PPA) and Arunachal Congress (AC) have influenced governance, leadership formation, electoral competition, and centre-state relations. The article argues that although national political parties have increasingly dominated electoral outcomes in Arunachal Pradesh, regional parties continue to play a vital intermediary role by articulating sub-national interests, enabling elite mobility, and mediating political stability. The study contributes to the broader literature on Indian party systems by highlighting how regional parties in frontier states shape democratic representation beyond electoral dominance.

This study examines the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) centralised Chief Minister selection strategy and its implications for state governance, party institutionalisation, and democratic accountability in India. Drawing on party organisation theory, principal-agent frameworks, and federalism literature, the paper analyses six BJP-ruled states--Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, and Himachal Pradesh--between 2014 and 2024. Findings reveal that the BJP prioritises organisational loyalty, ideological alignment, and central control over regional charisma or mass-based leadership, often replacing popular Chief Ministers post-election to maintain high-command authority. Comparative analysis demonstrates that centralisation enhances national electoral efficiency, narrative coherence, and governance coordination, while simultaneously reducing state-level political autonomy, weakening intra-party democracy, and creating risks of bureaucratic dominance and voter disengagement. The paper further highlights how this strategy contributes to the presidentialisation of Indian politics and raises normative concerns regarding democratic backsliding. By integrating empirical case studies with theoretical insights, the study provides a comprehensive understanding of how centralised leadership selection functions as both a tool of electoral optimisation and a potential challenge to the long-term institutional and democratic health of India's federal system.

Kaumarbhritya is one of the branches of the "Ashtanga Ayurveda". Balgraha is an abstract that is a part of Kaumarbhritya. The concept is quite distinctive which portrays the disease caused by the invisible vectors. This idea of Balgraha is not very acceptable nowadays due to Modernization of this era. For that reason, an attempt has been made to relate it to the modern era on the basis of the science and clinical application that can be practically applied on the patients. This review critically examines the classical Ayurvedic understanding of B?l Graha with a comparative analysis to modern pediatric disorders such as epilepsy, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, night terrors, and psychosomatic disorders. By integrating Ayurvedic principles with contemporary scientific insights, this paper aims to contextualize the relevance of B?l Graha in modern child healthcare, explore potential correlations, and evaluate the therapeutic significance of Ayurvedic management strategies. The study also highlights the scope of interdisciplinary research to bridge traditional pediatric wisdom with modern neurodevelopmental science.

Photography has developed through many technologies, from early camera obscura principles to contemporary digital systems. In contemporary photography culture, the aim is often to capture the perfect image in a fraction of a second. Within contemporary photography, attention has shifted towards clarity and visual precision, while visual ambiguity is considered a defect and even an image failure. Drawing on photography theory, this article discusses how softness and reduced sharpness contribute to the aesthetic experience. Using a qualitative, conceptual, and interpretive approach, the study suggests that visual ambiguity in digital pinhole photography challenges dominant expectations of photographic realism. Rather than treating this phenomenon as a fault, the paper argues that ambiguity serves as an important expressive aesthetic strategy that invites contemplative viewing. By bringing together various discussions of photographic and pinhole photography theory, the article highlights the need to reconsider sharpness as a culturally constructed value within contemporary digital photography.

Abstract Zn doped mixed metal oxide nanoparticles have attracted significant attention owing to their enhanced physicochemical properties and superior photocatalytic efficiency under UV and visible light irradiation. In the present work, ZnO-SnO? nanoparticles were synthesized by a simple sol-gel assisted co precipitation method. The prepared nanomaterials were characterized using X ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), to investigate their crystalline structure, morphology, and functional groups. XRD analysis confirmed the formation of crystalline mixed oxide phases with nanoscale crystallite size. SEM images revealed agglomerated nanoparticles with nearly spherical morphology. FT IR spectra indicated the presence of characteristic metal-oxygen vibrations, confirming successful synthesis. The photocatalytic activity of the synthesized nanoparticles was evaluated by degradation of methylene blue dye under UV light irradiation. Zn doping significantly enhanced the photocatalytic performance of SnO? due to improved charge separation and reduced electron-hole recombination. Among the prepared samples, ZnO-SnO? exhibited superior photocatalytic efficiency. The results suggest that ZnO-SnO? nanoparticles are promising materials for environmental remediation applications.

The Longchang community is a sub-tribe of Tangsa tribe that resides in Changlang District, Arunachal Pradesh. The Tangsas are one of the largest ethnic groups with many sub-groups that speak distinct dialects. In earlier time there was no such discussion on gender dysphoria as society were not aware. But as society are open up they come to understand about gender dysphoria especially today's youth who are experience this. Gender Dysphoria is a form of identity crisis experienced by today's youth, where they perceive a mismatch between their biological sex and gender identity. It is also known as gender identity disorder, where an individual feels like their soul is in the wrong body because she/he thinks that they have a different identity as compared to their biological one. These problems were also found among the youths of the Longchang community. This gender dysphoria creates chaos in their lives where they experience mental and emotional breakdown, get anxiety, depression, and become a victim of bullying in their society, schools, and peer groups. Even their family members' acceptance becomes difficult for them, especially where the family has a patriarchal mindset. As LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer or Questioning) people were coming into the light, this gave some relief to those youth with gender dysphoria where they can get a proper direction to figure out their actual identity or sex orientation.
