The aim of this study was to conduct a comparative study of health-related physical fitness components in young weightlifting and powerlifting athletes. In this research, weightlifting and powerlifting athletes from various districts of Maharashtra state were selected for the study. A total of 40 athletes were selected, comprising 20 weightlifters and 20 powerlifters, all within the age group of 18 to 23 years. To measure the health-related physical fitness of the selected subjects, certain components were chosen, including cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and muscular endurance. These components were then tested using the Cooper 12-minute run/walk test, sit-and-reach test, and sit-up test, respectively. A Student's t-test and Average was used to analyze the scores obtained from the tests and to compare the health-related physical fitness of weightlifting and powerlifting athletes. The significance level for this study was set at 0.05. It was concluded that there are significant differences in health-related physical fitness and its components--flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, and muscular endurance--between weightlifting and powerlifting athletes. Weightlifters exhibited higher levels of health-related physical fitness and its components (flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, and muscular endurance) compared to powerlifters.

Teaching English in multilingual classrooms presents complex pedagogical, linguistic, and socio-cultural challenges for educators. In contexts such as India, where students come from diverse linguistic backgrounds, English language teachers often face difficulties related to language interference, varied proficiency levels, learner anxiety, and limited exposure to English outside the classroom. This paper explores the major challenges encountered in teaching English in multilingual classrooms and examines their impact on teaching-learning processes. It also highlights practical strategies and pedagogical approaches that can help teachers address these challenges effectively. The study adopts a descriptive and analytical approach based on existing literature, classroom observations, and pedagogical practices. The findings suggest that while multilingualism poses significant challenges, it can also be leveraged as a valuable resource for inclusive and effective English language teaching.

Clearly, India has the potential to be a global power. Does India have the vision and the will to be a global power? At the time of independence in 1947, the leaders of the Independence movement had targeted the year 2000 as the date for realizing their vision to be a great global power. This vision guided India's Five year Plans under the Mahalanobis model, when economic development followed socialistic pattern with a centralized public sector at the commanding heights of the economy. It is with the advent of the nineties that economic liberalization started taking roots. But for the vision of the political leadership, the domestic opposition to economic reforms would have ensured that the process collapses even before it could kick-start. There is now, a broad political consensus among the mainstream political parties that the process of economic reforms is irreversible. India's rise towards the great power status shall be based on the edifice of the economic reforms, which have been pursued elentlessly over the last decade.

This paper analyses the decision-making processes of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and its efficacy in reconciling inflation control with economic growth within the Flexible Inflation Targeting (FIT) framework. A quantitative study design was employed to gather data from 384 respondents with varied demographic and professional backgrounds, aimed at evaluating perceptions of RBI's data-driven decision-making, inflation control, and economic growth management. Reliability and validity assessments demonstrated substantial measurement robustness, and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was employed to examine the causal linkages among the principal variables. The findings indicate that the RBI's data-driven decision-making substantially enhances both inflation control and economic growth, with inflation control serving as a partial mediator between decision-making and growth outcomes. The paper emphasizes the essential function of evidence-based monetary governance in improving macroeconomic stability and stresses the significance of analytical policy frameworks in bolstering India's resilience amid fluctuating economic conditions.

Speaking skill is a vital component of English language proficiency, particularly for ESL learners in academic and professional contexts. However, many learners face challenges such as lack of confidence, limited vocabulary, fear of errors, and minimal real-life communication opportunities. Role-play and simulation activities have emerged as effective pedagogical tools to address these challenges by providing learners with meaningful, interactive, and contextualized speaking experiences. This paper explores the role of role-play and simulations in enhancing speaking skills among ESL learners. Using a descriptive and analytical approach, the study examines the theoretical foundations, pedagogical benefits, challenges, and classroom applications of these techniques. The findings indicate that role-play and simulations significantly improve learners' fluency, confidence, pronunciation, and communicative competence, making them valuable strategies in English language teaching.

This analytical paper examines the crucial role of architectural and urban design interventions specifically, the creation of robust utilitarian and recreational walkability spaces in fostering cultural development among elderly citizens residing in low-density suburban environments. Traditional suburban planning often privileges automobile dependency, leading to social isolation and diminished public culture for non-driving elderly populations. Drawing upon principles of age-friendly design and social capital theory, this research argues that the strategic integration of accessible infrastructure (utilitarian walkability) and designed gathering points (recreational walkability) serves as a profound catalyst for the emergence of unique local community identities, shared narratives, and enhanced civic engagement. The analysis focuses on how spatial syntax and material design can transcend simple mobility goals to facilitate essential, predictable social encounters, ultimately transforming static suburban landscapes into dynamic, age-inclusive cultural ecosystems.

Yellow Ochre is naturally occurring Fe rich mineralwith major constituent of hydrated iron oxide. It is seen in several locations especially in villages of Muddanur, Vemula and Obulavaripalli mandals of YSRdistrict. The area of study falls within Cuddapah basin composed of Cuddapah supergroup rocks. The presentinvestigation deals with source identification, geochemistryusing ICP-MS and spatial analysis of Yellow Ochre through Landsat 8LlIsupported with field observations and by preparing data sets such as geology, geomorphology maps. The study revealed that the Yellow Ochre deposits in the study area are confined to structural hills which are comprising of shales of Tadipatriformation and Cumbum formationand quarztitesGandikota formation of Cuddapah Supergroup and falls withinthe Vemula mandal followed by Obulavaripalle and Muddanurmandals of YSR District. The yellow ochre is observed to have enriched Fe2O3percentages than the other rocks in the succession.

Pratishyaya is a commonly described disease entity in Ayurvedic classics, occurring in various pathological contexts and primarily involving the Nasavaha and Pr??avaha Srotas. Rhinitis is one of the most frequent upper respiratory conditions in children, with a global prevalence ranging from 10-30% and approximately 20-30% in India. Upper respiratory tract infections contribute significantly to morbidity in the paediatric age group, particularly among school-aged children. Although nasal discharge and sneezing act as protective mechanisms to expel irritants, persistence of symptoms such as nasal obstruction, thick nasal discharge, and heaviness of head can adversely affect a child's health, sleep, and quality of life. Ayurvedic management of Pratishyaya includes Nidana Parivarjana, Sodhana, and Samana Chikitsa. In paediatric practice, Samana Chikitsa is preferred due to its safety, palatability, and better compliance. A 8-year-old South Indian Hindu male child presented with complaints of continuous headache, nasal obstruction for 4 days, associated with nasal discharge, throat irritation, sneezing since past 2 days. Based on clinical features, the condition was diagnosed as Kaphaja Pratishyaya. Trikatu Choor?a was administered with guda for a duration of seven days, and the patient was followed up on the 14th day. Marked improvement was observed in nasal discharge, nasal patency, and associated symptoms. The formulation was well tolerated, safe, and effective, with no adverse effects noted. This case highlights the potential role of Trikatu Chur?a as an effective and child-friendly Samana therapy in the management of Kaphaja Pratishyaya in the paediatric age group.
