Abstract: Background: Overweight and obesity are defined as abnormal or excessive fat accumulation that may impair health. More than 100 million individuals are obese in India and the prevalence of obesity varies from 10% to 50%, there is an increase in obesity among young adults, mainly college students. Materials and Method: This study is an experimental study performed on 30 female college students of B.N. Patel College of physiotherapy. Sampling was done using a convenient sampling method. The Assessment tool used to record VO2 max was the queen's step test. The experimental group was given 6 weeks of Resistance exercise training, and the Traditional group was given 6 weeks of traditional exercise, both groups have followed 45 minutes for a session for 4 days a week. Results were analyzed using SPSS software and unpaired and paired t-test. Conclusion: we have found that there was a significant increase in VO2max after 6 weeks of Resistance exercise training and Traditional exercise training. Resistance exercise training is more effective than traditional exercise training. Having relevant long-duration resistance exercise training is recommended to all overweight college females to improve cardiovascular fitness and prevent future cardiovascular risk.

Right from the big businesses to educational institutions this pandemic has literally altered and devastated the traditional ways of carrying out things. Education sector is no exception in these hard times. The educational sector has been fighting to survive the crises. The worldwide pandemic due to the new corona virus is playing a vital role in higher education systems. Some of the important affects are disturbing the completion of the terminal exam, completing the syllabus, starting of the new academic year and loss of jobs. The Covid-19 pandemic motivates the education institutions and stakeholders for remote learning as well as makes it a new challenge in the global economies. The teaching learning and evaluation methodologies have been completely altered by this pandemic. The digitalisation of education became a necessity in order to provide seamless education. This research paper focuses on the impact on higher education in the era of Covid-19 pandemic as well as the government support rendered to higher education during this crises period.

In the present scenario software industry has become one of the fastest growing industries in India. The reason for choosing particularly software industry and employees is that the level of stress these employees face is comparatively higher than other employees. Any kind of a job has targets and an employee becomes stressed when he or she is allotted with unachievable targets and are unable to manage the given situation. Thus the main aim of this article is to bring to lime light the level of stress with software employees in Hyderabad and the total sample size for the study is 250 chosen by random sampling method in Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, etc.. Cities.

Brain injury is a problem faced by many neurosurgeons and is a major cause of disability, death and requires high costs to treat in Indonesia. Neurological damage in brain injury does not only occur at the time of impact injury, but develops in the hours and days that follow due to secondary brain injury. The mechanisms of secondary brain injury include oxygen free radicals, neuroinflammation, brain edema, and brain cell death. Kencur extract has antioxidant potential with total phenolic and flavonoid content including luteolin apigenin and is expected to reduce MDA expression. This study is an experimental laboratory with simple random sampling so that the experimental animals, experimental sites and research materials are homogeneous. The treatment of all samples was carried out simultaneously using post-test only control group design which allowed researchers to measure the effect of treatment on the experimental group by comparing the experimental group with the control group. Based on the ANOVA test, the significance value of the Kencur extract treatment group was 0.000 (p<0.05) indicating that there was a difference in MDA expression in brain-injured rats without kencur extract with brain-injured rats and given kencur extract. The 24-hour and 48-hour time groups, a significance value of 0.488 (p> 0.05) showed no significant difference in MDA expression. Then the Kencur extract treatment group with a time group of 0.117 (p> 0.05) showed no significant difference in MDA expression. There was a significant difference in the expression of MDA in brain injured rats without kencur extract with brain injured rats and given kencur extract. There were no significant differences in the MDA expression in the 24-hour and 48-hour time groups and the Kencur extract treatment group and the 24-hour and 48-hour time groups.

Public Library is a social institution with advancement of civilized literate society. The history of the evolution and growth of libraries is an essential chapter in history of the intellectual development of human beings. From the ancient period, India had library, there is evidence of well managed library in 6th Century AD, the Nalanda and Taxila University had library with huge collections of books. Like the ancient period, we also find evidences of library in medieval period of Indian history; Mughal Emperors like Babur, Humayan, Akbar are some examples who had established libraries. In real sense the development libraries in India begun from the British rule, the British Government took many initiatives for the development of public library in India. In post-independence period, Government and various non-government organizations play a significant role for the establishment of the Public Library in India. This paper is an attempt to trace the history of the growth and development of Public Libraries in India in post-independence period. This paper examines the various schemes, policies and steps taken by the Government of India for the spread of Public Library system in all over India and also discusses the circumstances which led to the development of the Public Library system in post-independent India.

In this paper, a relation between volume V and surface area S of a rectangular prism has been taken as V=n/2 S, n is a positive integer. Diophantine equation 1/n=1/l+1/w+1/h has been discussed for positive integer solutions in different cases. The Diophantine equation q/p=1/l+1/w+1/h has also been discussed for positive integer solutions.

The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between quality of work life and work place well-being among college teachers in Jammu district. The study utilized a cross-sectional design to select quantitative primary data by using self- administered questionnaire in order to achieve objectives of the study. The sample was collected from both government and private colleges of Jammu district, sample size was 120, out of total sample 50% were male and 50% females, 50% working in govt. colleges and another 50% of private colleges. Stratified random sampling was used for collection of data. The data collected from the respondents was subjected to statistical analysis. The results of the study revealed that there is significant and positive relationship between QWL and job satisfaction while negative relationship between stress at work and job satisfaction. Further results showed that there was significant positive relation between quality of work life and work engagement, while significant difference was found between stress at work and work engagement. Overall it was concluded that quality of work life has positive meaningful relation with work place well-being of teaching staff in colleges located in Jammu district.

Curcumin is used as a model drug to assess its suitability as a transdermal drug delivery system. Due to its poor aqueous solubility and permeability, curcumin is classified as a biopharmaceutical classification system (BCS) class IV molecule. Curcumin has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antifungal properties. Turmeric has been shown to help with post-surgical inflammation. Curcumin, the active ingredient of Curcuma longa, has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. The main objective of this study was to prepare and characterize transdermal patch of Curcumin. Patch were prepared using HPMC and Ethyl Cellulose, as Hydrophillic and Hydrophobic Polymer using solvent casting evaporation method. Patch were evaluated for appearance, Folding endurance, and their performance in vitro using Franz diffusion cell. According to the findings of this research, Curcumin could be considered as a transdermal delivery system for treatment of post-surgical inflammation pain relief without the risk of unwanted drowsiness and kill microorganisms.
