 Abstract

Coronavirus disease caused by the infamous severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) was first discovered in Wuhan, China in December 2019 and later, spreading to all parts of the world resulting in a Pandemic. The outbreak of Coronavirus has impacted every segment of life such as education, economy and health etc. The outbreak has reported the psychological impact of the quarantine and lockdown on human health. The study aims to explore the effect of anxiety, stress and psychological distress on health-related quality of life. 50 subjects were taken for the study out of which 22 were males and 28 were females. Four scales were taken for the study which are Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale, Perceived Stress Scale, Impact of Event Scale-R and SF-36 Questionnaire. They were interviewed using these four scales and correlation was interpreted using Pearson correlation test. It was found that the scales for anxiety, stress and psychological distress are negatively correlated with the components of SF-36 questionnaire. Hence, concluding that as anxiety, stress and psychological distress increases, quality of life decreases.

 Abstract

This paper focus on development of maximum power generation from the wind energy system. Recently, Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithms play an important role in optimizing the output obtained from the wind energy system. It is well known that wind speed varies; the power from the wind turbine changes accordingly. So, implementation of MPPT is necessary to keep output power at its maximum value with sudden change in either wind speed or load. The same dc energy will be fed to load with inverter and catch required load demand. PI controller-based inverter system is used to improve the power the power of wind energy system. The model considers the MPPT technique in order to extracting maximum possible power form the wind energy system based on permeant magnet synchronous generator (PMSG).

 Abstract

International and national crises often highlight inequalities in the labour market that disproportionately affect individual from diverse background. We need to build a disability inclusive response to covid-19. Since the beginning of the year more than 200 nations across the globe have been affected by covid-19. Many are still reeling under the devastating affects of the pandemic, with both public health and economy emerging market seem to especially vulnerable. In several of the Indian states we hear community members and associate narrate stories how migrant workers, Safai karamchari, Sanitation workers are badly affected due to covid-19 pandemic. While all of us at home maintain physical distance, they are forced to continue to serve us clean our surroundings to keep us safe. When the news of covid-19 broke, everyone wanted to stay indoors protect themselves and create a cocoon but, while the rich and the elite are doing this, the poor still come to pick up the garbage, still clean the roads, and still continue to deliver essential goods. This is happening at a risk that they have taken either due to perhaps their lack of awareness or lack of knowledge are for the mere need to survive, whatever may be the reason but only the disadvantage section of the society are suffered. Despite government having taken drastic step including offering varying degree of support to their citizens, there are some sections of the society that have been inadvantly excluded like person with disabilities ( PWDs ) more than 1 billion in number globally are one such person. This is because much of the advocacy on how to save during the pandemic.

 Abstract

Elbasvir/Grazoprevir (Zepatier) is a combination product with an FDA-approved indication for the treatment of chronic HCV genotypes (GTs)1and 4 in adults.Elbasvir is an NSSA inhibitor, preventing hepatitis C viral RNA replication and vision assembly.Median EC50 values range from 0.2 to 3600 pmol/L,based on genotype. Grazoprevir is a protease inhibitor of HCV NS3/4A that prevents cleavage of the polyprotein necnecessary for replication. Median EC50 values range from 0.16 to 0.8pmol/L.Analytical method play an important role in the physicochemical properties description. This review includes most recent analytical methods such as various spectroscopic methods (Simultaneous estimation, Mass Spectroscopy)and chromatographic methods (RP-HPLC, stability indicating HPLC )for determination of Elbasvir and Grazoprevir in various pharmaceutical dosage forms and biological fluid matrix were reported.

 Abstract

Abstract: Analytical method development and validation plays an important role in the discovery, development and manufacture of pharmaceuticals. These methods used to ensure the identity, purity, potency and performance of drug products. In the present study, a successful attempt was made for the HPLC quantitative estimation of Diloxanide furoate in bulk formulation. The method was developed by experimentation based on thorough literature survey and ascertained by statistical parameters of sampling. The entire work was performed on waters HPLC with U.V. Vis detector. The result obtained shows the developed method to be precise, simple, rapid and accurate. Thus these can be used for routine analysis of Diloxanide furoate in bulk drug dosage form. It was thus, concluded that the proposed method is new, simple, accurate, safe, free form pollution, precise and can be successfully employed in the routine analysis. The simplicity, rapidity reproducibility and economy of the proposed methods completely fulfill the objective of this research work.

 Abstract

By the year 2050 the world population will increase from 7.9 billion to 9.7 billion and close to 66% of this population will live in cities, declaring the age of the vertical city. High rise development offsets rising land costs and absorbs demand for space. However there are many problems associated with high rise living, risks associated with urbanization like disease, crime, environmental damage and vulnerability to disasters and social conflict also compound as density increases. This research aims at addressing these problems in order to create better spaces and places to live. The problems addressed include, issue of cost- affordability, inclusivity of community, multiplying ground level- creating neighborhood spaces, adaptive and flexible interior design and scope for incremental development.

 Abstract

Herbal based hair dyes are being preferred on large scale; due to the vast number of advantages it exerts to overcome the ill-effects of a chemical based hair dye. We have attempted to prepare and standardize this preparation to ensure its quality as well as stability aspects. Objective: The current research was aimed at the preparation of herbal hair dye and the evaluation of its various parameters as Organoleptic, physico-chemical, phytoconstituents, rheological aspects, patch test and stability testing for its efficacy and shelf life.
