This article provides a shot-by-shot analysis of Loin du 16e (Walter Salles and Daniela Thomas, 2006). It examines how the film's form expresses the emotional and time-related aspects of maternal work in today's urban capitalist environment. Moving away from plot-focused interpretations, this study suggests that the film creates meaning through duration, repetition, and selective visibility instead of through dialogue or story. By looking at shot length, framing, editing, and sound design, the article shows how the film depicts care as both personal and exploitative work. The analysis is framed within feminist political economy and emotion theory, contributing to discussions about short films, emotional work, and the ethics of cinematic duration.

Abstract: Sanskrit, one of the world's oldest classical languages, has seen revitalized interest in digital and educational domains. With the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in educational contexts, ChatGPT has emerged as an accessible tool for learners worldwide. However, learners often face challenges due to limited resources, lack of interactive feedback, and difficulties in understanding complex grammatical structures. This research investigates the use of ChatGPT an advanced generative artificial intelligence model as a novel tool for Sanskrit learning. By examining its pedagogical potential, advantages, and limitations through a mixed-methods approach involving learner interaction, expert evaluation, and qualitative feedback, this study seeks to understand how ChatGPT can supplement traditional Sanskrit instruction. Findings reveal that ChatGPT offers personalized explanations, real-time feedback, and enhanced learner engagement but also poses risks related to accuracy, contextual misunderstanding, lack of cultural nuance, and dependency. This research qualitatively investigates the advantages and disadvantages of using ChatGPT for Sanskrit learning, focusing on language acquisition processes, learner-tool interaction, accuracy, cultural nuances, and pedagogical implications. The paper concludes by offering recommendations for integrating AI tools responsibly into Sanskrit education.

Educational research has undergone rapid transformation due to the growing integration of digital technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), interdisciplinary approaches, and practice-oriented methodologies. This critical and conceptual review synthesizes contemporary studies (2020-2026) to explore dominant methodological shifts, emerging thematic trends and ongoing limitations in evidence generation. Findings reveal that while educational research is expanding globally and adopting innovative tools, it continues to face challenges such as lack of representativeness, limited longitudinal evidence, inadequate governance frameworks, uneven ethical preparedness, and methodological weaknesses in close-to-practice research. The review proposes a conceptual framework highlighting four interconnected pillars which are methodological innovation, ethical governance, evidence quality, and research-practice integration and offers implications and recommendations for future research, policy, and practice.

Sushrut Samhita and Charak Samhita are the two major ancient texts of Ayurveda. Both the Samhitas cover surgical and conservative aspects of treatment modalities respectively and are a part of Brihatrayee. As Ayurveda is a science of life, the treatment protocols mentioned here are of natural origine and carry immense potential to cure a disease from it's root, avoiding recurrence and minimizing the possible complications that may be seen in contemporary treatment. UTI1 may be defined as a condition in which the bacteria invades, persists and multiplies within the urinary tract. 13 types of Bastirogas mentioned in the Trimarmiyasiddhi adhyaya2 from Charak Samhita mainly focuses on vyadhis caused by vitiation of Vata dosha with Pitta and Kapha being the Awarakas (Covering agents). In Mutrakricchra, urinary tract infections can occur due to various bacteria, potentially leading to severe infections. A significant issue worldwide is the multidrug resistance of these bacteria to antimicrobial drugs. Additionally, contemporary treatments often come with unwanted side effects. Therefore, exploring new sources of antimicrobial agents and evaluating the effectiveness of drugs mentioned in ancient texts is both valuable and necessary. Chandraprabha Vati and Gokshuradi guggul vati has been studied for their action on Mutravaha strotas. The present clinical study has been conducted to evaluate the combined role of Chandraprabha vati and Gokshuradi Guggul vati in the management of Mutrakricchra.

Abstract:-Ethnicity plays a vital role in shaping tourism promotion by providing a destination with a diverse cultural identity. This study examines the role of ethnicity in tourism promotion with special reference to Kodagu district of Karnataka, a region known for its rich ethnic heritage, indigenous communities, and unique cultural practices. Kodagu's ethnic identity shapes the district's tourism image through traditional festivals, cuisine, architecture, rituals, martial traditions, and attire. The research explores how ethnic elements are incorporated into tourism marketing strategies, destination promotion and travels experiences, and evaluates their contribution to cultural preservation and regional economic growth. The study is based on primary and secondary data, interviews with cultural experts and field observations. Findings suggest that ethnicity serves as a powerful tool in enhancing destination attractiveness and encouraging sustainable tourism when local communities are enthusiastically involved.

Ekam Shastramadhiyano Na Vidyachchhastranishchyam! Tasmadbahushrutah Shastram Vijaniyachchikitsakah!! The above Shloka (verse) from Sushruta Samhita's Sutrasthana Chapter-4 encapsulates a timeless educational philosophy in Ayurveda. The mastery of a single Shastra yields no definitive knowledge and urging physicians to become Bahushrutas (versed in multiple disciplines). This Shloka (verse), attributed to the ancient surgeon Sushruta (circa 600 BCE), critiques narrow specialization, advocating integrative learning across Vedas, logic, ethics, and medical sciences for holistic healing. Historically, it reflects Vedic Yuga (era) responses to knowledge fragmentation, promoting Pramanas (epistemological tools) like Pratyaksha and Shabda. Philosophically, it aligns with Upanishadic Shravana-Manana-Nididhyasana, fostering Dosha equilibrium through broad insights. In practice, it guides Ashtanga Ayurveda (eight branches of Ayurveda), ensuring exact Chikitsa amid complexities like surgical emergencies. Contemporary relevance spans medical education, where it inspires evidence-based Ayurveda-Alopathy fusion, interdisciplinary stem, and lifelong learning against information overload. Critiques address over-specialization risks, balanced by Guru-Shishya experiential synthesis. Ethical dimensions emphasize Ahimsa and Vidyavardhana. This paper dissects the Shloka's (verse's) Bhasha related (linguistic) Swaroop (structure), Prasangika (contextual) Vyakhya (exegesis), Pratikool Maulika (cross-textual) parallels (Charaka, Ashtanga Hridaya, Shukra Niti) and applications in modern Shikshana (pedagogy). Through philological, epistemological, and Vyavharika (pragmatic) lenses, it demonstrates how Bahushruta Kshamta (competence) elevates Chikitsakas from technicians to sages, offering universal lessons for knowledge economies. Empirical validations from Ayurvedic curricula underscore its enduring efficacy, positioning Sushruta's wisdom as a bulwark against Matandhata (dogmatism) in evolving sciences.

Title: Effectiveness of Half Somersault Maneuver Versus Semont Maneuver in BPPV Patient by Dix - Hallpike Test and Dizziness Handicapped Inventory Scale. Aim of the study: To Compare Half Somersault Maneuver versus Semont Maneuver in Patients with Posterior Canal Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) Using the Dix-Hallpike Test and Dizziness Handicapped Inventory Scale aged 50-70 years. Methodology: Clinical diagnosis was confirmed using the Dix-Hallpike maneuver to provoke characteristic nystagmus. Therapeutic outcomes were assessed by comparing pre- and post-intervention scores via the Dizziness Handicapped Inventory (DHI) scale, a comprehensive 25-item self-assessment tool measuring functional, emotional, and physical disability. The standardized intervention protocol included one session per day involving three repetitions, performed five days weekly over a four-week duration. Design and setting: This research utilized a single-blinded comparative study design conducted over a six-month period within multi-specialty hospital settings. A cohort of 38 participants, aged between 50 and 70 years, was recruited and allocated into two equal groups of 19 through restricted randomization using a simple chit method. Result: Intragroup analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test showed that both the Half Somersault maneuver (median DHI score reduced from 46 to 30; p=0.000107) and the Semont maneuver (median DHI score reduced from 44 to 22; p=0.0001053) led to significant improvements. However, the between-group comparison via the Mann-Whitney U test yielded an extremely significant p-value (p=0.0000008817), indicating that the Semont maneuver produced a greater degree of improvement in reducing dizziness handicap compared to the Half Somersault maneuver. Conclusion: While both repositioning maneuvers are effective interventions for managing BPPV, the Semont maneuver is clinically superior to the Half Somersault maneuver in reducing dizziness-related disability and improving functional outcomes for patients in the 50-70 years age group.
