The phytochemical screening of Coriandrum sativum showed that it contained essential oil, tannins, terpenoids, reducing sugars, alkaloids, phenolics, flavonoids, fatty acids, sterols and glycosides. It also contained high nutritional values including proteins, oils, carbohydrates, fibers and wide range of minerals, trace elements and vitamins. The previous pharmacological studies revealed that it possessed anxiolytic, antidepressant, sedative-hypnotic, anticonvulsant, memory enhancement, improvement of orofacial dyskinesia, neuroprotective, antibacterial, antifungal, anthelmintic, insecticidal, antioxidant, cardiovascular, hypolipidemic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antidiabetic, mutagenic, antimutagenic, anticancer, gastrointestinal, deodorizing, dermatological, diuretic, reproductive, hepatoprotective, detoxification and many other pharmacological effects. The current review was designed to give an overview on the chemical constituents and pharmacological effects of Coriandrum sativum.

India is a land with diverse customs, races, cultures, religions, and castes. Among all the races tribes are the most ethnic group of Indian society. Even in the Epic texts like Mahabharata and Ramayana, we can find some tribal clans who helped the heroes in the forest and mountains. According to the 2011 census, 8.6% of the total population of India is tribal. About 550 tribes are living in different parts of the country. Most of them live on slopes of mountains or in forests. But nowadays these people are considered barbaric and boorish after the advancement of science and technology. Meanwhile, they are subjected to various issues and exploitations because of the development of society. Tribal people are debased from their habitat and they are forced to follow the modern culture. The ethnicity of these people gets ruined as they are linked with modern culture and non-tribal life. The modernisation of tribal culture is a trend nowadays and many have become a part of it. Modernity is an idea based on social changes such as industrialization, globalization, and consumerization. Modernity brings about changes that we can see everywhere, and it is an indefinable process. In some areas modernity is caused for progressive changes in society, whereas on the other side it leads to the destruction of society. It is very common in India that it take away tradition from the life of a tribal community. For instance, modernity brought drastic changes in the life of the Paniya Community in Wayanad. Many of their customs and practices are being changed.

Mizoram has become the fastest-growing economies among the states of India with a per capita income of Rs 50,021. The state also holds the second-highest GSDP growth during the 11th Five Year Plan (20072012) in Northeast India at 11% surpassing the target of 7.8% which is also much higher than the national average of 7.9%. Agriculture, Public Administration and construction work are among the strongest contributors in the GSDP. As Tribal population comprise a large percentage of the population, Animal farming is an important element thereto. In Mizoram, majority of the people eat and favours pork over other meat, piggery and farming of pig is a vital component of their income additions. This paper will attempt to find particulars of this income generating activity and the connection with education of the farmers.

The mentally challenged child is sensitive of its surroundings and is able to sense the attitude of his/her family members. Keeping this in mind the focus of the present study is to identify mentally challenged children and to investigate the role of home environment in their cognitive growth. To achieve this purpose 100 mild/moderate mentally challenged (MMC) children and 100 normal intelligent children were selected as the sample. The age group of children was from 9 to 11 years. For identifying mentally challenged children the Ravens Coloured Progressive Matrices, teachers rating and school records were used. To assess the home environment of children the Home Environment Inventory by Mishra (1989) was used. Statistical analysis revealed a significant difference between experimental and control group on 7 out of 10 dimensions of home environment. The study clearly indicates that a spontaneous cognitive development of children with mental retardation not only requires a supportive, favorable and warm home environment but also controlled and disciplined upbringing.

In Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) , node density plays a vital role in a particular network. Energy consumption of node is a major issue of Mobile Adhoc Network as it decides the lifetime of the network. In MANET powerful battery with less discharge rate is an essential criterion. There are several mechanisms are investigated to conserve the energy of the battery by which nodes are operated. In this paper , we have investigated the effect of energy consumption by varying node density . In simulation work, we have taken an area of 1500mX1500m arranging nodes in grid pattern with 16, 25 and 36 nodes respectively in different Routing protocols. We have used QUALNET as simulation software in our experiments.

Sadly, in the name of progress, we have polluted the air, water, soil and the food we eat. So, monitoring the air quality is very crucial now days because of pollution. For designing an air quality monitoring system, we need durable and reliable air quality sensor. Although there are many Air Quality parameters but the most important are CO2 and TVOC. So, for sensing CO2 and TVOC, we are using CCS811 Air Quality Sensor. CCS811 manufactured by AMS is a digital CO2 and TVOC air quality sensor. Main measurement characteristics: equivalent carbon dioxide range is 400ppm up to 29206ppm; equivalent Total Volatile Organic Compounds output range is from 0ppb up to 32768ppb; internal compensation algorithm using external ambient temperature and humidity data source; temperature range for operation -40C to +80C.
