 Abstract

Abstract: Around the world, the number of cases of diabetes has been rising rapidly in recent decades, and one of the most exciting fields of research is the search for small chemicals with strong anti-diabetic properties. Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic condition characterized by an increase in blood glucose levels due to an imbalance in glucose homeostasis [1, 2]. Two relatively prevalent risk factors that contribute to both neurological diseases and cardiovascular disease are type 2 diabetes and hypertension [3]. With decades of history and potential for growth, heterocyclic chemistry has dominated the field and is essential to the synthesis of new medications. Among the heterocycles, triazoles and coumarins received the most attention due to their significant biological activity and natural occurrence. Coumarins are prepared via Pechmann condensation, catalytic annulation phenolic acetates with acrylates [4], ZnBr2 catalyzed reaction of salicylaldehyde with ynamides [5], Amberlyst-15 catalyzed reaction of 1,3-dihydroXybenzene and ethyl acetoacetate under micro- wave irradiation in a solvent free conditions [6] etc. Naturally occurring coumarins in the glycoside forms are useful in medicine [7], and coumarins shows antimicrobial [8], anti-HIV [9], radical scavenging [10], and anti-viral [11] properties.

 Abstract

This research paper attempts to explore the idea of tradition and modernity found in Dalit autobiography through the text of Y.B. Satyanarayana's 'My Father Baliah'. It delves deep into the strength of Dalits which helped them to resist the affixed order maintained by the mainstream. The element of modernity stands responsible for the growth of untouchables with the aid of education, job opportunities, gender equality and social inclusion in the society. With the advent of Britishers, modernity became focal point for development of excluded section of Indian society. The aim of the paper is to locate rising stature of the outcaste with the weapon of modernity over the obsolete tradition. It interrogates the way through which Dalits overcome the stringent regulations set by caste-dominated people. Gradually, the space of the desire is caricatured by the serious actions taken towards the upliftment of one particular section through railway jobs. By following the textual analysis, the objective is to reflect the potency of modernity behind the pinnacle of success.

 Abstract

With the advancement of science and technology, the pharmaceutical industries have flourished drastically in recent years. However, the domain of pharmaceutical waste management is not in check and hence the improper disposal of pharmaceutical waste like dumping, burning, flushing, land filling has led to harmful impact in the environment like air and water pollution, change in aquatic ecosystem, destruction of flora and fauna, genetic changes, antimicrobial resistance, etc. The idea of reusing dispensed medicines is appealing to the general public provided its benefits are illustrated, its risks minimized, and the logistics resolved. For example, medicine reuse could help reduce medicinal waste, protect the environment and improve public health. A literature survey is undertaken to lay down the groundwork for implementing technologies on and around pharmaceutical packaging in order to meet stakeholders' previously expressed misgivings about medicine reuse ('stakeholder requirements'), and propose a novel ecosystem for, in effect, reusing returned medicines

 Abstract

Cancer continues to be a global health challenge, necessitating the search for effective and accessible treatment options. In this context, traditional medicinal plants have garnered significant attention due to their potential therapeutic properties. As the environment play humongous role in the genetic makeover of an individual be it be flora or fauna. Within same species of plants a specific phytochemical can be present or absent which is different in different region of the world. In the same manner drugs originated from the people's native area where they are living will suit them better as compare to those originated from elsewhere. In future, medication will not be provided just randomly that single medicine for a particular disorder for whole population but personalized medications will be provided which will suit only that particular individual having that particular genome. The present abstract focuses on the pharmacological evaluation and anticancer potential of four prominent plant species native to Northern India: Hibiscus rosa sinensis, Withania somnifera, Mentha piperita, and Murraya koenigii. Hence these kind of study and collection of data is crucial in order to bring novel drugs into the market (drug discovery and development). The selected medicinal plants from Northern Indiaexhibit promising pharmacological profiles with notable anticancer properties. While further research, including clinical trials, is essential to validate their efficacy and safety in human subjects, these plants hold significant promise as potential sources of novel anticancer agents and supportive therapies. The exploration of traditional medicinal knowledge alongside modern scientific techniques presents a valuable avenue for advancing cancer treatment strategies.

 Abstract

Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) contribute significantly to the nation's economic development by creating jobs, offering entrepreneurial possibilities, providing technical support, and offering skill-based training. Small businesses do, in fact, help to reduce poverty. The MSME sector makes up about 29% of the GDP of the nation. With government assistance, women from both urban and rural areas are pursuing business development initiatives. The study aimed to assess the opinions of women entrepreneurs about entrepreneurship and detect trends in women's participation in funding schemes for micro-enterprise development. The program was first introduced in October 2000, and on September 29, 2005, it was amended with a 15% capital subsidy (compared to 12% before 2005) on institutional financing that they can use to introduce well-established and enhanced technology into approved subsectors and products, the revamped program seeks to facilitate micro and small enterprises' technology upgrades.

 Abstract

Anomaly detection is a critical task with applications spanning various domains, including manufacturing, healthcare, and security and surveillance. This study introduces a comprehensive deep learning-based anomaly detection framework for video data using PyTorch. The architecture, built upon the "FNN" (Feedforward Neural Network) is "AnomalyDetectNet", employs multiple layers for feature extraction and classification, incorporating innovative techniques like Multiple Instance Learning (MIL) and the hyperbolic tangent (tanh) activation function to distinguish between regular and anomalous data effectively. Evaluation of benchmark datasets, particularly the UCF-Crime dataset, through metrics like the Area Under the Receiver Operating Characteristic Curve (AUC-ROC), demonstrates the model's proficiency in anomaly detection. Comparative analysis against a baseline approach reveals notable improvements, with our "AnomalyDetectNet" model achieving an accuracy of 84.84%, surpassing the baseline's 84.30%. This work contributes a potent tool for real-world applications in surveillance, security, and anomaly detection across diverse scenarios, advancing the field of anomaly detection research.

 Abstract

This research proposes a comprehensive three-phase grid integration system incorporating solar energy through a bidirectional buck-boost converter topology. The photovoltaic (PV) array output undergoes a boosting process via the bidirectional DC-DC converter, with control facilitated by the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technique for optimal power extraction. The grid and PV array operate in parallel, ensuring a continuous power supply to electric vehicle (EV) batteries. The study advocates for utilizing EV batteries as energy storage units in microgrids, employing Grid-To-Vehicle (G2V) and Vehicle-To-Grid (V2G) strategies to manage energy surplus and deficit. The paper underscores the importance of establishing infrastructure and control mechanisms for effective implementation. The research delineates the architecture of EV battery charging within a V2G-G2V system on a microgrid, demonstrating power transfer through simulation. Test results reveal that EV batteries actively regulate microgrid power dynamics using G2V-V2G operating modes. The proposed controller exhibits enhanced dynamic performance in terms of DC bus voltage stability, and the charging station design mitigates harmonic distortion in grid-injected current.
