The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act was recently amended in 2022, simplifying and accelerating the adoption procedure, which has given the orphaned and abandoned children residing in child care facilities in Odisha great hope in finding loving families. The Central Government legal modifications have given district collectors the authority to approve adoptions instead of the judiciary, streamlining and expediting the adoption procedure which saw the light of the day with cases as below. In the case analysed SECRETARY, SUBHADRA MAHATAB SEVA SADAN OF KOLATHIA & ANR. V. STATE OF ORISSA, AIR 2013 ORI 110 discusses the procedural hindrances which were undergone for adoption of two girl children later leading to such amendment to expedite the adoption processes and judicial proceedings followed.

This review investigates the relationship between Human Serum Paraoxonase 1 (PON1) activity and complications in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). Recognizing the critical role of PON1 as an antioxidant enzyme associated with HDL. A comprehensive literature review spanning from 2013 to 2023 was conducted, utilizing PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science databases. The search strategy incorporated relevant keywords and medical subject headings (MeSH) related to "Paraoxonase 1," "Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus," and associated complications. To enhance search precision, Boolean operators were used. Compromised PON-1 activity was consistently identified in T2DM, showing correlations with dysregulated lipid markers, cardiovascular complications, atherosclerosis, diabetic nephropathy, and diabetic retinopathy. Gender-specific variations in PON-1 activity, particularly pronounced in women, were also observed. There is a bidirectional relationship between diabetes and PON-1 and it can be used both as a diagnostic and prognostic marker, assessing risk and complications in T2DM. Further research is necessary to validate these findings and pave the way for targeted therapeutic interventions encompassing diverse populations.

Solubility is the process by which a solid dissolve in a liquid phase to form a homogeneous mixture. The aqueous solubility of drug affect the physical, chemical & dose stability; it sets a standard for purity, dissolution rate and extent of absorption. A majority of active pharmaceutical ingredients that are being developed (drug) are lipophilic with limited aqueous solubility leading to problems in preclinical pharmacokinetic and toxicological investigations. Due to rapid advancement in combinatorial chemistry, high-throughput screening this increase of poorly aqueous soluble drugs have been observed. Solid dispersions have attracted considerable interest as an efficient means of improving the dissolution rate and hence the bioavailability of a range of poorly water-soluble drugs. Solid dispersions of poorly water-soluble drugs with water-soluble carriers have been reduced the incidence of these problems and enhanced dissolution. The focus of this review article on advantages, disadvantages and the method of preparation, and characterization of the solid dispersion.

The disease of diabetes has become devastating for many people and increasing dramatically throughout the world. Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by an increase in the blood-glucose level resulting from a relative insulin deficiency or insulin resistance or both. Its effects result in an increased risk of medical comorbidities like heart attack, stroke, recent weight loss etc and consequently reducing the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of a nation. The objective of this study is to develop a mathematical model for the Blood Glucose Regulatory System (BGRS) using Linear Non-homogeneous differential equations. Stability of the proposed model is analyzed and observed that complications can be controlled and managed in such a way that, the peak which is the time period for insulin to be most effective in decreasing blood sugar, through regular physical activity and nutrition. It is a matter of attention that after doing physical activity for some minutes, we find that glucose and insulin levels in the blood plasma of diabetic patient decreases back to their normal levels. Thus if a patient does physical activity regularly for a certain period of time and observes correct diet, he does not need any insulin supplements. Stability of the model has been approached from Jacobian matrix method and numerical simulations have been done using various parameter values.

This study aimed to explore the relationship between academic stress and parental involvement among higher secondary school students. Academic stress is a condition characterized by demands that tax an individual's physical or mental resources. Stress can be triggered by various events, positive or negative. The source of stress can be environmental, physical, or emotional. Parental involvement fosters self-esteem and a sense of self-worth in students, reducing their risk of depression. Students and their parents (200 samples) were selected as sample by incidental cum purposive sampling method. The tools used were Academic stress Scale and Parent Involvement Scale. Three hypotheses were formulated: (1) there will be low stress level in higher secondary students having high parental involvement. (2) There will be more parental involvement in female children than boy's students. (3) Gender difference will be found in level of stress and parental involvement. The findings were that (1) Parents showed average involvement hence, higher secondary students had moderate level of academic stress (2) Parental involvement was same for both boys and girls and (3) Gender difference was not found between the level of stress and parental involvement. Both boys and girls had same level of academic stress and parental involvement.

: Enumerations of numerous forms of hymns attributed to different divine entities have been found in the Vedic Sa?hit?s. Hymns are simply the prayers or invocations consist of the glories and specified features of that particular deity to whom it is dedicated. Hymns are stated to be the initial form of literature by human being chanted towards God. Hymns have been seen from the aspect of experiences that is realized in the intellects of human being. These hymns are seen in particular form of using a metre or Chanda? to express its contextual purpose. In the Post Vedic era the interface between God and his devotees has been seen through the new dimensions of eulogy, recognized as 'Stotra' or 'Stava', which is evident in the Epics, Pur??as, ?gamas or Tantras and other holy scriptures. In this concern to explore these hymns in the form of Vedic and Post Vedic scriptures about their approaches, scopes and forms are ventured to be made.
