 Abstract

Abstract: Technology has outstretched in almost every sphere of life. When it outreached the realm of education, it has changed teaching-learning process drastically. Language learning can be made interesting and creative by introducing ICT (Information and Communication Technology/Technologies) in the language classroom. For English is learnt as a second language in many countries including India, it is recognized as a link language across the globe. The teacher can introduce ICT into the language classroom to achieve the desired learning outcomes. With the help of ICT, the teaching-learning became flexible. Today the learners can learn at their own pace and at their own place. A teacher can make use of digital tools in the language classroom which is innovative, creative and interesting. In the modern world, teachers are not mere teachers but they are playing a role of a facilitator for the learners. They involve the learners in a variety of activities which enhance their learning and boost their confidence as well. ICT provides the opportunity to use different methods and techniques of teaching language in a diversified classroom, which is a mixture of different types of learners. It caters the needs of the different learners at the same time.

 Abstract

The main aim of this paper is to think about the problem of finding out the probabilistic data to allow such data to be stored in legacy systems that accepts only deterministic input. Pre-existing web applications are correspondingly related with legacy system. Automated data analysis and enrichment methods like entity resolution, data extraction, and speech processing systems generates Probabilistic data. The intention is to produce a deterministic representation of probabilistic data of the end application built on deterministic data such data that optimizes the quality. Methods are triggers and selection queries are two various data handling tasks are used to find out the deterministic problem. Traditionally the top-1 selection or thresholding is used to find determinization performance for many applications. As an alternative, we expand a query-aware strategy and demonstrate its advantage over existing solutions through a complete empirical evaluation over real and synthetic datasets.

 Abstract

The focus of the study was to observe reproductive biology of three neritic tunas viz., Thunnus tonggol, Euthynnus affinis and Auxis thazard belonging to the family Scombridae during the period 2009-2012. A total of 512 samples of Thunnus tonggol, 448 Nos. of Euthynnus affinis and 586 Nos. of Auxis thazard were analysed for the study. The development of ova from immature to maturity levelrevealed that, in IIIrd stage, the maturing ova measured between 0.039-0.068mm in Thunnus tonggol, 0.008-0.028mm in Euthynnus affinis and 0.008-0.024mm in Auxis thazard. Two distinct spawning seasons were observed in all the three species and major spawning season for these species was observed during August-December. Minor spawning season was during March-May in T. tonggol, March to May in E. affinis and January-April in A. thazard. The size at first maturity in T. tonggol was recorded at 48.0cm, E. affinis at 42.0cm and A. thazard at 37.5cm. Male to female sex ratio was 1:1.3 (T. tonggol), 1:1.7 (E. affinis) and 1:1.1 (A. thazard). The gonado-somatic index values were in the range of 0.042-5.826 for all the three species. Fecundity of T. tonggol was between 1,43,230-22,30,000 ova, E. affinis range was 2,15,759-15,63,721 and in A. thazard, 89,400-15,99,528.

 Abstract

Now a day's many of the financial institutions and banking sector are using strategic branding for capturing customer attention in long run, so Banks must adopt various types of strategic planning towards develop a positive perception in the minds of customers. For that, developing and implementing customer centric strategies, banks need to provide a consistent strategic brand experience to prevent customer from switch out to other competitive banks. In order to understand customer perception towards banking sector, there is a need to understand customer based brand equity and its major determents. The current research paper deals to identify the various determinants of customer-based brand equity in the banking sector. For this purpose, a structured questionnaire was developed and a sample of 140 respondents was taken from the banks customer of Hyderabad only, and tested by the correlation analysis and multiple regression by using SPSS 20.0 Version. Correlation analysis was conducted on the study variables and the results indicated that there are strong, positive and significant relationships between demographical variable and Determinants of CBBE, and The multiple regression results showed that Brand verdict, brand felling and brand performance have significant influence on the banking customers.

 Abstract

Goods and Service Tax or GST as it is known is all set to be a game changer for the Indian economy. The Finance Minister in his budget speech of Budget 2015 has announced time and again that the tax will be introduced on 1 April, 2016. Conceptually GST is expected to have numerous benefits like reduction in compliances in the long run since multiple taxes will be replaced with one tax. It is expected to bring down prices and hence the inflation since it will remove the impact of tax on tax and enable seamless credit. The present study is conducted in Tiruppur garment industry and to consider the impact of GST in small and large scale industry. This study helps to know the factors which influencing the Exporters according to the GST. This study helps to know the benefits of GST in Tirupur textile industry. From this study the researcher had gained lot of practical exposure the GST implementation in export industry .

 Abstract

The living arrangements and the support by the elderly family members is the central aspect of joint family system in India. The proximity of children extends all kind of support to the elderly in areas like personal, health, financial, etc., which are upkeep the health and helps in the diminishing of all types of morbidity from the elderly. Dwelling together and sharing the common kitchen, consolation in a reciprocal manner between younger and elderly also provide support to both younger and older generations. The main objective of this paper was to study the living arrangement and received support by the elderly from their children. Nearly 69.8% of the elderly of the respondent have satisfaction of living arrangement to some extent. Nearly half of the respondent (46.6%) prefers to live with their sons. More than half of the elderly (54.4%) are living with their sons. For this study 262 respondents were selected by multistage systematic random sampling method.

 Abstract

The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is used in security areas widely now. However, there is still a large room for further improvement of its execution efficiency. GPUs are very efficient at manipulating computer graphics and image processing, and their highly parallel structure makes them more efficient than general-purpose CPUs for algorithms where the processing of large blocks of data is done in parallel. In this paper, a design of parallel AES on the multiprocessor platform is presented. Our design is based on combining the steps of MixColumn, SubstituteBytes, and AddRoundKey using the concept of T-Table. In order to enhance the throughput of AES algorithm, it is implemented parallel on multicore GPU which uses SIMD architecture using CUDA which is the framework for writing program using C++.
