 Abstract

This paper explores the role of women in spirituality through the lens of Vedanta, one of the foundational schools of Indian philosophy. Vedanta, derived from the Upanishads, Brahma Sutras, and the Bhagavad Gita, posits a non-dualistic understanding of reality, emphasizing that the essence of the individual self (Atman) is identical to the ultimate reality (Brahman). Despite this philosophical framework advocating for spiritual equality, historical and cultural contexts have often marginalized women's roles in spiritual practices. By examining ancient texts, such as the Upanishads, and notable figures like Gargi and Maitreyi, this study highlights the significant contributions of women in early Vedantic discourse. It further discusses the emergence of Bhakti movements, which provided women with avenues for spiritual expression and leadership, exemplified by figures such as Mirabai. The paper also addresses modern interpretations of Vedanta by contemporary thinkers like Swami Vivekananda and Sri Aurobindo, who emphasized the importance of women's empowerment within spiritual contexts. Ultimately, the analysis reveals a tension between Vedantic ideals of gender transcendence and the historical realities of women's participation in spirituality. The paper concludes by asserting that while challenges persist, the evolving role of women in Vedantic spirituality reflects a dynamic interplay between ancient wisdom and contemporary feminist perspectives, fostering a more inclusive spiritual landscape.

 Abstract

Psyllium (Plantago ovata), a rich source of soluble and insoluble dietary fiber, boasts an impressive nutritional profile. Native to Persia and extensively cultivated in India, psyllium husk contains up to eight times more soluble fiber than oat bran, rendering it highly effective for various health applications. Its multifaceted benefits extend to pharmaceutical applications, where it serves as a natural disintegrant, gelling, suspending, and emulsifying agent, enhancing drug formulation and delivery. The bioactive compounds present in psyllium exhibit a broad spectrum of biological activities, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anticancer, and cardioprotective effects, which collectively contribute to disease prevention, health promotion, and overall well-being.Traditionally employed to treat constipation, diarrhea, and hypercholesterolemia, psyllium husk has demonstrated potential in managing obesity, diabetes, and heart disease, contributing to healthy aging. Despite its extensive health benefits, research on incorporating psyllium into food products remains limited. This review aims to highlight psyllium's pharmaceutical and pharmacological attributes, emphasizing its potential in innovative food formulations to support global health and well-being. Developing psyllium-fortified, low-calorie food products could address public health concerns while promoting nutritional awareness. Adequate water intake alongside psyllium consumption is essential to maximize its therapeutic efficacy.

 Abstract

Cattle farming is a vital part of the agricultural industry. However, one of the challenges that farmers face is the difficulty in monitoring their cattle and preventing them from wandering outside the designated area. This project aims to address this problem by developing a cattle detection system using IR sensors and a NodeMCU board. The system consists of three IR sensors placed at the entrances to a field, which detect when a cattle enters the field. The sensor data is sent to a NodeMCU board, which is programmed to generate alerts over the internet using a Blynk server. The alerts can be received on a smartphone, or any device connected to the internet. Additionally, a buzzer is used to generate sound alerts for people in the vicinity of the field. The project involves the use of the Arduino IDE to write the code for the system and the installation of the sensors, NodeMCU board, and buzzer at the entrances to the field. The sensors are connected to the NodeMCU board, which processes the data and sends it to the Blynk server. The Blynk app is used to configure the alerts and receive notifications. The system is intended to help farmers monitor the movement of their cattle and prevent them from wandering outside the designated area. It can also be expanded to include additional features such as camera feeds and data logging. With this system, farmers can receive alerts in real-time and respond quickly to any issues that arise. It can help reduce the workload of farmers and improve the overall efficiency of the cattle farming industry. In conclusion, the cattle detection system developed in this project provides an innovative solution to the problem of monitoring cattle in a field. It combines the use of IR sensors, a NodeMCU board, and a Blynk server to provide real-time alerts and sound alerts for people in the vicinity of the field. This project can be useful for farmers, agricultural companies, and anyone involved in the cattle farming industry.

 Abstract

Abstract This paper explores the integration of nutritional strategies into educational frameworks as a new paradigm for enhancing student achievement, employing data mining techniques to uncover insights into the relationship between student nutrition and academic performance. The growing body of research underscores the critical link between nutrition and cognitive development, highlighting how dietary habits influence academic performance, concentration, and overall well-being. By incorporating targeted nutritional interventions within educational settings, schools can foster environments that support both the physical and intellectual growth of students. The proposed integration of data mining techniques allows for a deeper understanding of the factors affecting academic success. Through the analysis of large datasets from school meal programs, dietary habits, and academic outcomes, this paper aims to identify patterns that could lead to more effective nutritional interventions. Ultimately, the paper advocates for a holistic approach to student development, where policymakers, educators, and parents collaborate to create healthier, more academically conducive environments.

 Abstract

The agricultural sector is the backbone of many economies, providing livelihoods for millions and ensuring food security globally. However, it faces persistent challenges that undermine its growth and sustainability. One of the most pressing issues is the detrimental role of intermediaries or middlemen in the supply chain. In traditional agricultural systems, intermediaries dominate the value chain, exercising control over pricing, distribution, and market access. This often results in significant inefficiencies, including unfair pricing, wastage, and limited market reach for farmers. Consequently, farmers, who bear the labour-intensive burden of production, receive only a minimal share of the profits. These inefficiencies perpetuate income disparity and exploitation, leaving farmers vulnerable to economic instability. This emerges as a pioneering solution to address these systemic issues, fostering a transparent, equitable, and sustainable agricultural ecosystem. By leveraging technology and innovation, this empowers farmers to regain control over their livelihoods, ensuring fair pricing, improved market access, and sustainable practices

 Abstract

Osteoporosis is a systemic skeletal disorder characterized by decreased bone mineral density (BMD), leading to bone fragility and an increased risk of fractures. It is particularly prevalent in postmenopausal women due to estrogen deficiency, with significant variations in prevalence across regions. Osteoporosis can be classified into primary (age-related or postmenopausal) and secondary forms, the latter arising from various underlying conditions or medications. Postmenopausal osteoporosis, resulting from hormonal changes after menopause, significantly accelerates bone loss, particularly in the trabecular bone. The pathophysiology involves an imbalance between bone resorption and formation, exacerbated by estrogen deficiency. Risk factors for osteoporosis include non-modifiable factors such as age, gender, and family history, and modifiable factors such as smoking, calcium deficiency, and sedentary lifestyle. Diagnosis relies on bone mineral density (BMD) assessments through DXA scans, with treatment options including pharmacological therapies (e.g., hormone replacement therapy, bisphosphonates, and anabolic agents) and non-pharmacological strategies (e.g., dietary recommendations, exercise, and lifestyle changes). Effective management of osteoporosis involves a combination of medications, supplements, and lifestyle modifications to prevent fractures and improve quality of life.
