: In the recent scenario, biometric technique is used in many fields such as mobile phone unlocking systems, medical centres. In this project we have proposed a face recognition for security in pawn shops. Usually a biometric system such as fingerprint scanning along with the gates are used for safety lockers of pawn shops. A face recognition algorithm is a computer based application which is capable of comparing the face of a authorized person with the image of a person that is already fed in the database. The locker system opens only if the face images are matched. This new method of using face detection technique will be useful for a more secure system by reducing thefts to a greater extent and also it helps to reduce the time taken by reducing.

ABSTRACT What if there is no person to share our good and bad feelings? What if our brain is storing shocking events and there is no desensitization for emotions? Our life starts with the first emotional sound of cry. This sound is imperative for the perspective of physiological and psychological health. The baby, reveals emotions through various gestures (facial and body). This is significant to share good and bad feelings to relieve our brain from adverse affect on emotions, behavior and social adjustments. Many investigations are propagated by Psychologists and Social scientists. Some of significant studies are the Free Association and Dream Analysis Theories of Sigmund Freud, Client Centered Therapy by Carl Roger and so on. India is a Secular Democratic State with diversified culture, nevertheless there is a common and rich integration of civilization. Indians have been using catharsis through social gathering and sharing these extreme feelings of happiness (celebration of Marriage, Party, Festivals and so on) and sadness (death of near and dear, failure in exam/project, misbehave of others, financial adversity, natural catastrophe and so on).

This paper deals with the designing and implementation of digital code-shifted reference (CSR) transceiver in the hardware. By changing the physical properties of the transmission, the security of the transmission is improved without the help of higher level security options. CSR provides a simple manipulation of the physical property of the transmitting data without the use of precise timing device and multiple oscillators. The CSR transceiver helps us to transmit and receive the data using the help of security added to the transmitting data, which will protect the data from eavesdropping. The design of the transceiver is implemented in custom developed field-programmable gate array and the corresponding outputs are simulated.

Abstract: This paper focuses on prevalence and practice of untouchability in urban India even after seven decades of Independence. In contemporary Indian society, there exists a sense of belonging to a superior or inferior caste, into which individual are born by chance, not by choice. The present study seeks to probe empirically into how scheduled caste students perceive and respond to the practice of untouchability. Data were gathered from 50 post graduate scheduled caste students studying at Bangalore University who having been exposed to higher education, could be representing an enlightened and empowered section of scheduled castes. Education is acknowledged as a means of creating awareness about self and the society at large. Hence, the educated among the scheduled castes, are expected to be conscious of their rights and tend to oppose any discriminative practices against them by resorting to all the legitimate means at their disposal. However, the findings seem to suggest that educated sections of scheduled castes are still subjected to the practice of untouchability, persisting in diverse forms, manifestations and ramifications indicating that the Scheduled caste people have not been able to take advantage of the Constitutional provisions meant to safeguard their interests in a caste ridden society.
