Grid computing has emerged as an attractive computing paradigm due to the availability of high speed wide area networks and low cost computational resources. This paper presents a novel load balancing algorithm for grid systems by considering node desirability. The set of partners and neighbours are formed for each node using the desirability of the job. For each job, in the gird, the proposed algorithm uses the desirability of other nodes in the grid to form k number of partners and p number of neighbours. The methods for building neighbours and partners are presented. A new job arriving to a node is immediately distributed to the originating node it or to its partner nodes. The load adjustment is carried continuously and reciprocal information management is used to minimize the communication overhead in the proposed load balancing algorithm. The proposed algorithm is dynamic, sender-initiated and decentralized.

All over the world are working to find out renewable source of energy. Apart from the renewable energy resources like geothermal, biomass wind, tidal and hydro energy etc. The solar energy has required characteristics for present day suitable energy source. Solar energy is not only none polluting, inexhaustible and harmless but clean, low cost and hazardless having no disposal problem. In this study it is proposed the conversion and storage capacity of solar energy taking different types of reductants with the photosensitizers. This field of research is still in the infant stage with respect to its viability and applicability, requires through exploration to increase the conversion efficiency and storage capacity by selecting the suitable couple of Photosensitizer and the various types of reductants.

It is believed that an individual is rational. He takes financial decisions after thorough evaluation of all available investment alternatives given their risk level and thereby maximizes his wealth. However, Several studies in the recent years have proved that rationality is not the only factor influencing financial decisions of an individual. There are many other factors influencing it. This study seeks to understand impulsive personality trait as a factor affecting financial risk behavior of individuals. It studies degree of risk that an investor can assume in impulsivity. Every individual is impulsive to some extent and this impulsivity affects his decisions including financial decisions. In this study, these impulsive traits are identified and further their impact in financial risk behavior has been studied. It has been found that impulsivity and risk level are positively correlated. Further, no statistically significant difference was found between these impulsive personality traits and varying degrees of risk.

Abstract In the 19th century, India was an unhealthy place for the British. Many diseases such as malaria, cholera, dysentery, and smallpox were endemic, and there were periodic outbreaks of other infectious diseases. Venereal diseases as syphilis reached the subcontinent in the 16th century and soon became widespread. Venereal or Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) have always been a big challenge for the Government. By the middle of the century, it became clear that the army in India was severely affected. The British policy on the venereal diseases revolved around the racial theory. Their venereal diseases policy was designed only for the white military in which civilian were not included because they were not interests in civilian sexual diseases. They considered venereal diseases in the European soldiers were due to proper lack of medical examination of prostitutes and only through the Disease Act could be controlled venereal diseases. British believed that prostitutes will be accepting medical examination and they would motivate to admit to the Lock Hospital for treatment. It was clear that through the Contagious Diseases Act, military authority wanted control over the prostitutes and their aim was protected by the British soldiers from infected prostitutes. Their purpose was not to provide better health to prostitutes but they wanted to prevent homosexuality or unhygienic sex. British policy moved beyond the notion that if white army man infected by prostitutes then the punishment will be given the only prostitutes. The most important fact was that they created division between registered and unregistered prostitutes. Despite the hard efforts of British Government, limited success of Lock Hospitals increased pressure on British Authority for the strict rules. In spite of great attention of the Government towards the soldiers, at the end of the First World War; in India had few hospitals and dispensaries opened for venereal diseases but hardly any venereal diseases specialist or treatment was available for a civilian. The fact remains that venereal diseases were the chief cause of sickness among the British troops but there is no doubt that different type of a venereal disease did not claim a large number of lives. Perhaps, it was the chief cause of careless attitude of the British Government towards the venereal diseases in India.

Kautilya has discussed various topics on administration, politics and economy, it is a book of law and a treatise on running a country, which is relevant even today. His ideas remain popular to this day in India. He provided valuable basis for economic science. It contains very useful economic ideas on foreign trade, taxation, public expenditure, agriculture and industry. Good governance and stability are inextricably linked. If rulers are responsive, accountable, removable, recallable, there is stability.

A pioneer of Indian English literature, Mulk Raj Anand is a prolific writer. Through his writings, Anand attacks religious bigotry, established institutions and other affairs related to society. Most of his writings seek to portray the darker side of the predicament of wretched of the earth. He looks deep into the human consciousness, ugliness and squalor of human life against a background of a taboo-ridden society and its callous laws. This is visible in his debut novel Untouchable, where he explores the lives of the poor and the outcastes. This writing tries to reflect the hideous face of untouchability which creates a panic situation for an innocent boy Bakha.
