Blood donation is essential to global healthcare, with over 100 million blood units donated annually. Ensuring blood safety begins with a safe blood donor who has been rigorously screened and selected based on stringent national blood donor selection criteria. A retrospective cross-sectional study was done from January 2023. The study aims to evaluate the Voluntary blood donor demographic trends and deferral pattern among adolescents. Overall, 3782 Voluntary donors, of which 2391 (63.22%) donors were donated blood, 1391(36.88%) were deferred. The majority of the donors were Young Adults (20-39 years) 53.8% followed by Adolescents (18-19 years) 41.2%. The most common cause of adolescent deferral was Medical Causes 41.6% and Anaemia 40%, among the females highest at 84.12%. Lifestyle factors were 16.1%, including underweight 7.6%, and body piercing 5.1% males were higher in rate 7.94%. The majority of deferrals are transient in nature. Consistent follow-up of donors can contribute to the expansion of the donor pool.

Abstract--The growing complexity and scale of Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystems demand robust and interpretable security solutions to detect and mitigate emerging threats. This research integrates Explainable AI (XAI) techniques, including SHAP (SHapley Additive Explanations) and LIME (Local Interpretable Model-Agnostic Explanations), into machine learning models such as Random Forest and SVM to enhance transparency and trust in IoT threat detection systems. A distributed processing architecture, utilizing Apache Spark and Kafka, ensures real-time scalability for processing large volumes of heterogeneous IoT data. XAI methods provided actionable insights by identifying key features influencing predictions, significantly reducing false positives and improving analyst response times. The study aligns with regulatory requirements like GDPR, offering a scalable, interpretable framework for IoT security. However, challenges such as computational overheads and adversarial risks highlight areas for future research.)

Startups represent the primary driver of innovation and technological advancement. India's fintech startup ecosystem has developed into one of the most vibrant and quickly transforming areas in the worldwide financial landscape. Financial technology (Fintech) refers to the use of technology to deliver innovative offerings within the financial industry. It represents a new market disruption that influences traditional business models and financial frameworks by merging modern technology with finance. Fintech encompasses the "financial, insurance, and regulatory dimensions of the financial services sector, transforming business models, operational practices, and product offerings through technological advancements". This paper examines the fintech startup ecosystem landscape in India. this paper finds that the DPIIT registered startups, at the scaling stages, the fintech startups are very few compared to the ideation stage and the validation stage. This paper also finds that the fintech startups are not evenly spread across the different states of India and also finds that the funding in the fintech startups is more at the late stage of the startups instead of the seed stage and the growth stage.

In Tamil Nadu, India, the Tamil Pudhalvan scheme, particularly among the student community. Through a structured survey, data was collected from a sample of college students across various disciplines in Tiruppur. The study explores students' knowledge of the scheme's objectives, eligibility criteria, and its perceived advantages. Statistical methods, including Garrett Ranking and chi-square tests, were employed to analyse the data. Findings reveal that while there is moderate awareness about the scheme, a significant portion of the student population remains uninformed about its full scope and potential benefits. The study suggests that increased efforts in dissemination and outreach are needed to improve awareness, especially through educational institutions and social media platforms. Additionally, recommendations for policy-makers and educational authorities to promote the scheme more effectively are discussed.

This project proposes a gesture-controlled system for PowerPoint presentations, aimed at improving the user experience by enabling hands-free control and addressing the limitations of traditional methods such as keyboards, mice, or remote clickers. These conventional tools can disrupt the natural flow of a presentation and are often inaccessible for individuals with physical disabilities. The system is designed to be highly adaptable, functioning effectively in diverse environments with varying lighting conditions, backgrounds, and camera distances. In conclusion, this project aims to enhance the presentation experience by providing a natural, hands-free method for controlling slides, fostering better presenter flow, and increasing audience engagement. By utilizing OpenCV and MediaPipe, the system delivers an innovative, accessible, and scalable approach to bringing gesture recognition technology into mainstream presentation environments.
