 Abstract

Abstract A comparative study was conducted on the earthworm resources of Gulbarga District. These region blessed with contrasting ecosystem which will ideal for the combination of different species of earthworms. Earthworm were sampled continuously for two years by employing standard techniques. The habitat and diversity of the earthworm is noted. The ecology of earthworm and the importance contribution and roles placed by the earthworm in their respective ecosystem in Gulbarga district on soil structure, fertility, and vermin compositing so its role ever discussed in details.

 Abstract

The purpose of patents is to protect the innovator against wrongful exploitation by others of his or her innovation. But when it comes to software, patents unfortunately have the opposite effect. Innovation is stifled and the only ones to gain from the system in the long run are patent profiteers, that is, companies with no innovation who acquire software patents with the sole purpose of extracting royalty payments from the true innovators. On the losing side are large and small software companies with products under closed source and open source licenses. This paper aims to throw light on the issues related with software patent under TRIPS agreement. The US, Canada, European Countries and India shows that there are variations in approaches towards patentability of software. This paper explains the idea that how diverse approaches are creating differences in opinions about patenting of software, thereby leading to software patent war. The question of software patents and its patentability in the case of Alice Corporation v CLS Bank International remained unanswered in so many questions. The Court emphasised on the fact that the existence of free software itself is a strong argument against the granting of software patents. Mere recitation of a generic computer cannot transform a patent-ineligible abstract idea into a patent-eligible invention. This paper is based on the on the present position of software patent national as well as international. Although few areas like free and open source software is a research topic, the particular effects of patenting on its innovation have not yet been investigated systematically. This paper offer an attempt to understand the status of patent law and practice relating to computer related inventions.

 Abstract

Dividend is the actual reward given to the shareholder after a long wait of commitment of the funds in an organization. The policy which decides whether this reward should be given to the shareholder or not depends upon various factors. The main objective of the paper is to discuss the determinants of dividend policy covering the time-period of 1975 to 2017. The findings of the study reveals that profitability position of the concern has a positive impact on the flow of dividend followed by company size, leverage position, company size etc. and the factors like government Policy, competitors strategies, growth plans etc. have a negative effect on the flow of dividends.

 Abstract

The changing and challenging working system of the organisations made a person functioning like machine without taking rest. The increasing expectation of employer as well as the family create an imbalance in lifestyle of the employees in different forms like late-night sleep, poor eating habits, smoking, drug abuse, alcoholic etc. The health and well- being of a person depend mostly on physical life style (eating habits, sleeping habits, smoking, exercise habits etc.) and psychological habits (social relationships, involvement in events, spirituality etc.). According WHO 60% of the factors contributing to health and worklife are correlated to lifestyle. This disorder in the behaviour and activities of the employees not only affect the employee himself but also affect his work surrounding and the organisational performance. Lifestyle disorder physical or mental may cause diseases like cancer, asthma, depression, hypertension etc. among the employees. The present paper is focused on the causes and impact of lifestyle disorder. It also suggests the ways to overcome this disorder.

The structure of molecule was based on Donor-? bridge-Acceptor. From this the different type of donor are investigated. Ultraviote. The structure of molecule was based on Donor-? bridge-Acceptor. From this the different type of donor are investigated. This work based on Hartree-Fock (HF) and Density functional theory (DFT), the present study analyses the molecular and electronic structures, polarizabilities and hyperpolarizabilities of organic dye sensitizer of Bromoanthracene. Ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectrum were analysed using Time Dependent-Density Functional Theory (TD-DFT). The theoretical results have demonstrated that TDDFT calculations using the polarizable continuum model (PCM) were logically capable of predicting the excitation energies, the absorption and the emission spectra of the molecules. The prominent features of the electronic absorption spectrum in the visible and near-infrared regions were designated based upon TDDFT calculations. The bands of absorption are assigned to n ??* transitions. The chemical hardness (?), ionization potential (IP), electron affinity (EA), dipole moment (?), absolute electronegativity (?) and electrophilicity index (?) are also measured to find the stability of the molecules

 Abstract

A versatile technique was implemented for the synthesis of silver nanoparticle using aqueous extract of leaves of Gymnema sylvestre. A nanoparticle has very interesting properties in different fields such as medicine, nutrition, energy and has remarkably advantages in pharmacological industries to act against bacterial and viral diseases, therapeutics for cancer and tumours. The synthesis of silver nanoparticle from Gymnema sylvestre showed very high antimicrobial activity and also showed antioxidant activity by inhibiting DPPH, scavenging Nitric oxide. Significant antioxidant activity of alcoholic extract of Gymnema sylvestre was found which might be due to the presence of Acidic compounds, Flavonoids, Phenols, Saponins, Tannis (Phenolic compounds) and Triterpenoids found in the preliminary phytochemical screening.

 Abstract

Text categorization is a vital and all around considered territory of example acknowledgment, with an assortment of present day applications. Viable spam email sifting frameworks, mechanized report association and administration, and enhanced data recovery frameworks all advantage from systems inside this field. The issue of highlight determination or picking the most applicable highlights out of what can be an extraordinarily huge arrangement of information, is especially essential for exact Text categorization. The proposed framework (I) utilize understood pre-handling technique doorman and Lancaster for prepare the dataset. (ii) various component choice measurements have been investigated in content arrangement, among which data pick up (IG), chi-square (CHI), Mutual data (MI), Ng-Goh-Low (NGL), Galavotti-Sebastiani-Simi (GSS), Relevancy Score (RS), Multi-Sets of Features (MSF) Document recurrence (DF) and chances proportions (OR) are viewed as best. Pruning strategies are additionally proposed utilizing overlook the component in view of TF and DF to additionally decrease the arrangement of conceivable highlights (normally words) inside a report preceding applying a technique for include determination. (iii) Finally order the chose include in light of two calculation bolster vector machines and Navie bayes. Two benchmark accumulations were picked as the testbeds: Reuters-21578 and little bit of Reuters Corpus Version 1 (RCV1). The two classifiers and the two information accumulations, and that a further increment in execution is acquire by consolidating uncorrelated and high-performing highlight choice techniques
