Ayurveda the science of life is traced back to Vedic time about 5000 B.C. Ancient medicine is the mother of sciences and played a great role in the integration of early culture. Marma is one of the important subjects of Ayurveda. Marma (Vital Parts) of body have the great surgical importance as they are considered as anatomical land mark of body. Explanation of Marma in Sushrut Samhita is the evidence of first ever description of Surgical and applied anatomy in medical science. Different school of thoughts analysed this subject from different angles and developed their own thought. But this subject Marma appears to be relevant even today with reference to assessment of clinical health. Marma Vigyan can be taken as a synonym of Traumatology. In the present study a deep insight into Marma Shareer has been done that was almost found to have earmarks of Traumatology being discussed in the contemporary sciences in the present era. Trauma is a leading cause of death during the seventh decades of life.

Emerging contaminants are chemicals recently discovered in natural streams as a result of human and industrial activities. Most of them have no regulatory standard and can potentially cause deleterious effects in aquatic life at environmentally relevant concentrations. The conventional wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) are not always effective for the removal of these huge classes of pollutants and so further water treatments are necessary. This chapter has the aim to study the absorption process in the removal of emerging compounds. Firstly, a brief description of absorption mechanism is given and then the study of conventional and non-conventional absorbents for the removal of emerging compounds is reviewed with the comparison between them.

The systematic review of the research literature identified a vast number of interventions that have been investigated to determine their effectiveness in the prevention or treatment of oral mucositis in cancer patients. It is obvious that many interventions used in clinical practice have never been rigorously evaluated. Furthermore, many combinations of agents are advocated by local experts without evidence to support their use.

With the growth of pharmaceutical industries cheaper medicines are now available in the market called Generic Drugs. Generic medicines are those which contain the same active ingredient in the same quantity as that of a brand-name medicine. Generic medicines therefore have the same effect on the body in terms of curing disease as the brand-name medicines. But doctors normally prescribe the branded medicines so we should have a system from where we could get the names of the generic medicines. This paper demonstrates a generic Medicine Recommender System for Doctors/patients which basically maps and recommends Generic Medicines having the same constituents as that of branded medicine prescribed by the doctor. Along with this it also builds awareness about Side effects, Dosage and cost of the medicines.

The environment pollution is a big problem and also harm to human health and wealth. Due to liberalization, privatization, and globalization, countries are utilizing the environment to the maximum extent resulted in environmental degradation. Moreover, the recent developments of advanced technologies are challenge to protect the environment. As the activities of human the release of radioactive substances or high-energy particles are entire into the air, water, and earth which create pollution. The discharge of toxic substances and the release of heat in the quantities and the concentration should not exceed the capacity of the environment to tender them harmless. So our municipal law and international covenants and additional protocols are give inspiration to protect the environment. In every year the agency of the international organization conduct the Universal level summit to protect and prevent the environment pollution.
