The objective of the project is to provide a dynamic street light control and management which relies on the Internet of Things architecture. Currently, there is manual switching in which street lights will be switched on in the evening before sunset and switched off next day in the morning. The proposed system provides a solution for energy saving by automatic switching as well as obstruction sensor for better energy conservation. This uses Arduino microcontroller coupled with LDR and IR sensor for obstruction detection. Thus, this system ensures smart operability and smart energy consumption of street lights.

The acquisition of geo-data has long been, and continues to be, a cumbersome, labour-intensive and expensive task. The past decade has been witness to a favorable development, which is the rise of new remote-sensing techniques able to collect geo-data in an automated manner. In particular, techniques enabling the highly automated collection of 3D geo-data in the form of Digital Elevation Models have rapidly emerged and are now at the leading edge. Discovery of different laser sources, improvements in detector technology, data collection and analysis techniques have made the LiDAR a reliable tool for atmospheric science research. This paper provides study of available LiDAR systems like Differential Absorption LiDAR(DIAL), LiDAR Technology Experiment(LITE), Giant Aperture LiDAR Experiment(GALE), Purple Crow LiDAR, SHOALS Airborne LiDAR, Scanning Aerosol Backscatter LiDAR(SABL), CO2 Doppler Pulsed LiDAR, ULM Airborne LiDAR, TopoSys LiDAR System), ALS50 LiDAR System with their specification and specific use. The varied application in areas particularly in Environmental Engineering where this technology has been successfully employed is reviewed in detail. The paper also outlines the potential of this technology, and use of this Technology in reference to India with some case studies as LiDAR study of air quality in the atmospheric boundary layer in Pune, Monitoring of vertical profiles of minor constituents in the atmosphere of New Delhi, Study on planetary atmospheres and ssurface measurements of ozone in downwind side of major industrial region of Gujarat from India.

Automobiles have become critically indispensable to our modern life style. On the other hand, future of automobiles, built on the internal combustion engines, has been badly hit by the twin problems due to diminishing fuel supplies and environmental degradation. Thus, it is very important to identify some clean-burning, renewable, alternative fuels to ensure the safe survival of internal combustion engines. In the present paper investigations were carried out to evaluate the performance of two-stroke, single cylinder spark ignition (SI) engine with alcohol blended (80% gasoline and 20% ethanol by volume) having copper coated combustion chamber [copper-(thickness, 300 ?) coated on piston crown, and inner side of cylinder head]. Performance parameters [brake thermal efficiency, exhaust gas temperature and volumetric efficiency] were determined at various values of brake mean effective pressure of the engine, while combustion characteristics [peak pressure, maximum rate of pressure rise, time of occurrence of peak pressure and maximum heat release] were evaluated at full load operation of the engine with alcohol blended gasoline. Comparative studies were made on performance parameters and combustion characteristics with conventional SI engine with pure gasoline operation. Brake thermal efficiency increased with alcohol blended gasoline with both versions of the combustion chamber. Copper-coated combustion chamber (CCCC) showed improved performance and combustion parameters when compared with conventional engine (CE) with both test fuels.

The age old method to calculate the square root of any given integer manually is done using trial and error approach and statistically the chances of getting the correct result is very low. In this paper it is discussed how by applying the concept of quantization from quantum theory we can solve this age old algebraic problem and can view the number theory in a different approach. This approach is supported by experimental data and backed by theoretical derivations leading to the formation of a new theory and certain new concepts in the field of algebra in general and number theory in particular. It should be noted that this theorem is devised to have a perspective of the quantum nature of number line and as of now this concept is used to find the square root of an integer, helping any person to find them more efficiently while working manually only.

In this era, unbalanced diet and lack of nutrition creates many diseases for human. Because of the poor eating habits like unhealthy food, fast-food and preservative food items people are suffering from a lot of diseases. One of the most common diseases caused by improper diet is thyroid. Thyroid was classified into hypothyroid and hyperthyroid. Among these hypothyroid patients are more and women are suffering mostly by hypothyroid disease. The main objective of this research work is to analyze the healthy diet system for hypothyroid disease patients. In this study, healthy diet system for hypothyroid disease is analyzed using fuzzy logic algorithm by using QtFuzzylite tool. The input parameters are hypothyroid test, healthy and unhealthy nutrition for hypothyroid diet. The output parameters are health to classify the given data was poor, normal or good by the linguistic terms of fuzzy logic algorithm.

Most colleges have a number of different courses and each course has a number of subjects. Now there are limited faculties, each faculty teaching more than one subjects. So now the time table needed to schedule the faculty at provided time slots in such a way that their timings do not overlap and the time table schedule makes best use of all faculty subject demands. We use a genetic algorithm for this purpose. In our Timetable Generation algorithm we propose to utilize a timetable object. This object comprises of Classroom objects and the timetable for every them likewise a fitness score for the timetable. Fitness score relates to the quantity of crashes the timetable has regarding alternate calendars for different classes. Classroom object comprises of week objects. Week objects comprise of Days, Days comprises of Timeslots. Timeslot has an address in which a subject, student gathering going to the address and educator showing the subject is related. Also, further on discussing the imperatives, We have utilized composite configuration design, which make it well extendable to include or uproot as numerous obligations. In every obligation class the condition as determined in our inquiry is now checked between two timetable objects. On the off chance that condition is fulfilled i.e. there is a crash is available then the score is augmented by one.
