 Abstract

The more people are getting involved in the technology, faster they want to process things, for faster evaluation of the work good , efficient processors are required. For Optimum Usage of CPU(Central Processing Unit), scheduling of the task is essential. CPU scheduling is the chief task of multi -programmed operating systems. Since Modern working frameworks are being switched from single job environment to multitask environment and technologies like big data ,cloud computing have already boomed up that utilization of resources with traditional scheduling algorithm are not efficient. The purpose of this paper is to introduce a variant of Round Robin algorithm with a new method of calculating Time Quanta also known as time slices. Time Quanta is a fixed amount of time by which number of processes are executed. Here,in this paper time quantum is calculated using mean of Minimum burst time and maximum burst time of the processes. This scheduling method gives a better result than other methods of improved round robin scheduling and traditional Round Robin Scheduling..

 Abstract

As the technology is growing day by day, Internet of Things (IoT) is also spreading into various fields like automobiles, telecommunications, education, agriculture etc. IoT in the field of Vehicular Technology is called as Internet of Vehicles (IoV). Internet of vehicles has become an increasingly important trend for future transportation and communication between vehicles. Due to this fast updation of technology, modern vehicles are expected to be connected with other devices or with their surrounding environment. In this project, we address the challenges in designing a scalable IoV system by describing CarStream, an industrial system of big data processing for chauffeured car services. CarStream collects and processes multiple types of driving data including vehicle status, driver activity and passenger trip etc. Each car sends this information to its database. IF there are 10 cars on a street, the database receives 10 applications of information. Imagine if this number increases to thousands and it becomes a bottleneck to the database to store or retrieve the information. By significantly expanding the network scale and conduction both real time and long term information processing are evolved. Vehicles are not only consuming but also generating a huge amount and enormous types of data, which are referred to as Big Data. Since it is believed that 1/5th vehicles on roads will be connected to internet by the end of 2020.

 Abstract

Abstract: Testing is a very important activity in design and development process. It is to check the quality of the product at various stages of the process. The effective testing methodologies produces high quality product. This Paper deals with a significant and vital issue of testing. This can be conducted manually as well as automated processes. These techniques have their own merits and demerits. In this paper we are proposing in building a Python automation framework. This automation framework is used to support verification and data collection scripts. The scripts control different sets of test equipment in addition to the Device Under Test (DUT) to characterize a specific performance with a specific configuration, to evaluate the correctness of the behavior of the DUT. The specific focus is on documenting our process in building an automation framework using Python.

 Abstract

As there is rapid development in computer technology; the interaction between human and computer is become a topic of research, where we can use mobile devices for data mining applications as mobile devices are user friendly and incorporates with many powerful sensors. These sensors include acceleration sensors, vision sensors, audio sensors, light sensors, temperature sensors, direction sensors, and GPS sensors.  Abstract

The use of carbon fiber reinforced polymers (CFRP) in strengthening structural members is rapidly gaining in the past two decades. When compared to conventional steel reinforcement, CFRP has lots of advantages. This paper presents the dynamic analysis of RC cantilever slabs strengthened with CFRP. Dynamic analysis is important to determine the dynamic response of the structure during dynamic loading. This analysis is performed on ANSYS APDL 16.0. The results obtained from the analysis shows that the behavior of cantilever slabs with the provision of CFRP has improved when compared to conventional slabs.

The Restitution of Conjugal Rights is a concept to provide relief to people who suffer from separation from their spouse even when they are unwilling and this provision provides them great relief by enforcing the spouse to stay back. But is this provision actually helpful?  Abstract

A main aim of this research work is to develop and validate an automatic tool for parasite detection in thick blood films. Malaria is still a major health problem but the diagnosis has not improved and it is at the level of technicians due to the lack of Medical resources. An automatic tool developed here would be a useful filter for the specialist to test technician diagnosis. This paper presents the development and validation of an algorithm to detect parasites in thick blood films. The algorithm is trained by selecting a number of correctly classified pixels from each tissue, which are then used as input to a statistical classifier based on the k-Nearest Neighbor (k-NN) decision rule in the RGB color space. A few samples of the classes to segment, i.e. red cells (RC), parasites (PA) and background (BG) are picked to obtain a representation of the pattern space. The k-NN rule classifies a given pixel within the category the most heavily represented among its k-Nearest Neighbors. Validation was performed on a group of six images. Parasite was detected in the entire set of test images and the number of misclassified pixels was observed to amount to 11.41 %.

 Abstract

The cloud computing has the distributed nature in which data is stored on the multiple virtual servers.  Abstract

Image and video are the two most basic forms of transmitting information. With the help of Image and video encryption methods any particular set of images or videos can be transmitted without worrying about security. LSB based steganography method is used for the encryption of the images which are the basic building blocks of any video file. The video is distributed into the photo frames using a MATLAB code and all the frames are sequentially stored. Each such frame contains a combination of red, blue and green layers. If we consider a pixel as an 8 bit value than each pixel has the value in the range of 0 to 255. For each frame two pixels situated at the top left and the bottom right corner of red and blue layers are modified so as to insert text in each image. After the completion of the pixel value changing all the images are placed in a sequential manner and then all the frames are cascaded for generation of the original video file with encryption. This new video is almost similar to the original video file with no changes visible to the naked eye.
