'Mok?a' is a very small word but has so many importance, significance and power in Indian literature and culture. This word derives from the Sanskrit dh?tup??h; the dh?tu named 'muc' which means 'Mukti' or freedom. What is 'Mok?a'? it is a big question among us. The Indians use this word very frequently. But a very small part of people knows the actual meaning of Mok?a. In Vedic Literature r?i's uttered mantras regarding mok?a. They kept tough spiritual practices for so long years to achieve this salvation. Mok?a is also called as Nirv??a, Mukti, Vimukti, Vimok?a etc. Not only in Hinduism but it also has different emancipations in Buddhism, Jainism etc. In a word Nirv??a or Mok?a means 'Freedom.' Freedom from the Sa?s?ra, in a broad sense the ultimate freedom from death and rebirth. Upani?ads, G?t? they show the path of salvation. But apart from these; different literatures have different paths to give the explanation or analysis of salvation. Kau?ilya has shown another type of path or way of life of freedom or mok?a. In this paper I have tried to compare or analyze the concept of mok?a in the light of Ved?nta philosophy with the Kau?ilya's 'Artha??stra. Artha??stra has completely the different perspective of freedom which we can relate in modern day's perspective also. So, it can be said that this paper is a comparative study between Ved?ta and Artha??stra.

This comparative analysis delves into the resolution mechanisms for distressed companies under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) in India and corporate rescue procedures in the United Kingdom (UK). The study explores the legal frameworks, procedural intricacies, and practical implications of these mechanisms, while identifying key similarities and differences. The research focuses on the efficacy of resolution plans under the IBC and corporate rescue in the UK, scrutinizing their effectiveness in preserving value, promoting stakeholder interests, and facilitating economic revival. By examining case studies and empirical data, the analysis highlights the operational challenges, legal lacunae, and regulatory hurdles encountered in both jurisdictions. Key findings reveal disparities in the timelines, creditor rights, and judicial oversight between the IBC and UK corporate rescue regimes. While the IBC emphasizes creditor-led resolution through the Committee of Creditors (CoC) and mandates strict timelines for resolution, the UK framework prioritizes debtor-in-possession and provides greater flexibility in restructuring arrangements. Moreover, the research identifies legal ambiguities and procedural bottlenecks in the implementation of resolution plans under the IBC, including issues related to creditor hierarchy, valuation methodologies, and judicial interpretations. In contrast, the UK's well-established legal precedents and specialized courts offer more clarity and certainty to stakeholders, facilitating smoother restructuring processes. The analysis also underscores the significance of institutional infrastructure, regulatory support, and stakeholder engagement in enhancing the efficacy of corporate rescue mechanisms. It advocates for reforms in the IBC to address legal lacunae, streamline procedures, and bolster investor confidence in distressed asset resolution

Success of any organisation depends on its employees' contribution and efficiency. The efficiency of employees at the workplace highly depends on the healthy environment in which they live and work. The conflicts being the component of interpersonal interaction it is natural to have them at the workplace. The conflict arises in different forms and it is inevitable to have conflicts that involve superior and subordinate or among any of the stakeholders. Conflicts are desirable if they can improve the way of working and organisation dynamics and can increase productivity. Unresolved conflicts may sometimes lead to litigation and may further disturbs the behaviour of people drastically resulting in the hostile environment abusive behaviour by the employees thereby decreasing the efficiency of people at the workplace. Conflict resolution is always a time consuming process but unresolved conflict can lead to serious disasters. The present study discusses the reasons for the conflict and how to manage effectively based on the survey conducted on 23 top level managers of Mumbai and Pune including the top level Chief Peoples Officer of the companies. The study uses the narrative method of data analysis and shows that prolonged and resolved conflict can lead to hostility at the workplace resulting in disorders of the health and the well being of the employees. The study also discusses the strategies that are adopted by the top level managers of the company in conflict management.

Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) is a crucial component of economic development and progress, and India's trajectory as one of the major countries with the fastest rate of growth in the world is intrinsically linked to its ability to draw FDI. This research study thoroughly investigates the mutually beneficial link between the legal system in India and foreign direct investment. It examines how India's legal rules, policies, and successful application have an impact on the FDI inflow while highlighting the complexities and dynamics of the Indian investment landscape. This article aims to shed light on the complex effects of India's legal system on FDI by examining regulatory obstacles and legal protections. It also examines current trends, industry attractiveness, and FDI source countries, giving important insights into the situation with regard to foreign investment in the country. This study digs even deeper into the area of case studies, providing a comprehensive analysis of how legal reforms, or the lack thereof, have impacted particular industries, such as retail, and led to investment arbitration suits. It addresses the difficulties and possibilities associated with India's investment landscape using these instances as examples. While bureaucratic obstacles, tax-related complications, and unclear policy are challenges, regulatory streamlining, digital infrastructure, and the developing start-up environment are opportunities. This article's conclusion highlights the crucial part the Indian legal system had in influencing the FDI landscape. It offers policy suggestions intended to meet the difficulties and seize the forthcoming opportunities. India can aim even higher as a desirable location for foreign direct investment by streamlining and simplifying laws, ensuring consistency in policy implementation, and increasing dispute resolution procedures. Policymakers, investors, and scholars looking for sophisticated knowledge of the dynamic interaction between India's legal system and FDI would find this research useful.

This research delves into the optimization of cooperative spectrum sensing in multiuser multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) systems, where both the primary user (PU) and the cognitive radio (CR) are endowed with multiple antennas. The focal point of optimization lies in determining optimal weights assigned to the received signals of CRs. The objective is to maximize the probability of detection while adhering to a predefined probability of false alarm. Statistical characteristics of parameters in MIMO cooperative spectrum sensing systems have been ascertained for various scenarios, including the PU with a single antenna and the CR with multiple antennas, the PU with multiple antennas and the CR with a single antenna, as well as both the PU and the CR equipped with multiple antennas. Given the non-convex nature of the optimization problem, an alternative approach utilizing a genetic algorithm (GA) is proposed. This deviation from convex methods allows for the exploration of optimal weight vectors without imposing solution domain restrictions or convexity constraints. Additionally, various classical GA crossover operators are examined to assess their impact on sensing performance. Simulation results underscore that the reliability of spectrum sensing in cooperative spectrum sensing systems experiences significant enhancement with the integration of multiple antennas. Moreover, the GA method emerges as a promising approach for addressing the challenges associated with cooperative spectrum sensing.

Personality affects us in every aspect of life. Therefore, in this study we want to investigate what effect personality has on academic performance? The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of big five personality traits on academic performance. Present study based on the reviews of the previous studies. After reviewing numerous research papers, this review paper indicates that among the five personality traits, Conscientiousness, agreeableness, and openness as more important in academic performance. Apart from this, neuroticism does not have any positive effect on academic performance. Present paper also reveals certain differences in personality traits across genders. Male students' academic performance is influenced by agreeableness, extraversion, emotional stability and conscientiousness. Conversely, Openness had an impact on female students' academic performance. The only characteristic that had an impact on both male and female students' academic performance was conscientiousness.
