Abstract
This paper attempts to comprehend the effect it has had on the audience. The researcher has examined the body of research on the topic to provide a supportive analysis on romantic partnerships. Since love relationships are not often acknowledged in society, films help young people make decisions about their personal life. With Yash Chopra films serving as the face of romantic films, films made in the 1980s are credited with starting this proliferation of ideas. A romantic notion has been created through dialogue, music, and picturization. India's audience is greatly impacted by these films and can relate to them. It appears that idealising a flawless relationship contributes to viewers creating irrational standards by which to judge their own relationships. Other ideas that seem to have developed from these films include stalking, romanticization of abuse, and gender stereotyping.
