  Abstract


The physicochemical properties of each manufactured moisturizing cream formulation were assessed. including pH, particle size, spreadability, viscosity, and in vitro occlusivity test results. Adult skin has a surface area of about 2 sq m, weighs 4.5 to 5 kg, and accounts for nearly 16% of the body's weight. From 0.5 mm on eyelids to 4.0 mm on heels, it is thick. However, the body's overall thickness is between 1 and 2 mm.
