Machine learning approaches have proven beneficial in improving our understanding of and ability to anticipate human behavior and mental processes in the fields of psychometrics and psychological prediction. This study offers an overview of machine learning's uses in psychometrics, emphasizing its benefits for psychological prediction, evaluation, and diagnosis. The paper addresses potential ethical issues as well as the numerous machine learning algorithms used in psychometrics, discussing their benefits and drawbacks. This research tries to demonstrate the transformative impact of machine learning on developing the discipline of psychology through a thorough analysis of existing literature.
