The main purpose of the present study was to investigate the Science and Technology career preference of senior secondary school students. The sample used for the study consisted of 160 students of senior secondary school. 80 male and 80 female students from urban and rural areas made up the 160 total students. Data were gathered using the Career Preference Record (CPR), a tool created and standardised by Vivek and Rajshree Bhargava (2001). Stratified random sampling technique was used to collect sample. Data interpretation involved the use of analysis of variance (ANOVA). Results of the findings showed that senior secondary school students differ in their Science and Technology career preference for their gender but do not differ for their Stream of Studies. Gender and Stream of Studies do not have an interaction effect on the Science and Technology career preference of senior secondary school students at 0.05 level of significance.
