Topical gels avoid G.I. irritation and medication metabolism, increasing drug bioavailability. Diclofenac sodium is a phenyl acetic acid derivative developed as an anti-inflammatory agent. Like other NSAIDS, it possesses analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties. Long-term therapy for rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis is advised. Thiocolchicoside treats muscle spasms, cramps, and musculoskeletal and neuromuscular problems. It is available in capsules and injectable form on the market. The main issue with Thiocolchicoside is its limited bioavailability, which ranges between 25 and 30%.
