One way of looking at retail is as the link between the producer and the one-to-one consumer market, where purchases are made for direct use. As India opened its doors to the global market, the makeup and nature of FDI have changed significantly. Foreign direct investment (FDI) is seen as a key factor in helping India's economy thrive. There is renewed optimism and high anticipation that the government's strategy of permitting Foreign Direct Investment in the multiband retail sector would act as a catalyst to support economic progress in our nation. This research aims to investigate and analyze the effects of FDI in retail on human capital and economic growth as a whole.
