Abstract
Abstract
Substance abuse is the use of a mood-altering substance which exceeds social or legal standards of acceptable behavior due to changing cultural values, increasing economic stress,, and dwindling supportive bonds leading to initiation into Substance use among the rural population in India. Substancesincludes Cannabis, heroin, and Indian-produced pharmaceutical drugs are the most frequently Abused drugs in India, whereas alcohol is one of the most widely used psychoactive substances in our country, especially in the village areas which causes harmful destruction to the family members and society.
