The world woke up in 2020 with a new virus called coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19). The virus spread easily from Wuhan, a western province in China to the whole world and caused a pandemic situation. Our body is always exposed to mysterious invaders which can cause diseases and infections. The immune system enables to keep these contagious microorganisms at bay and protects our body depending on the strength of immune system. The nutrients like vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, amino acids etc. play a significant role in the host immunity.
