Abstract
The study focuses on the impact of GST on the construction industry. India is one of the world largest democracies and its construction industry and real estate business is growing day by day.
The increase in population and the growing demand for residential buildings and commercial spaces have been issues for general. In addition the implementation of GST has increased the prices of raw materials involved in construction like concrete, steel, slabs etc.
This study aims to understand the causes and impacts of implementing GST and how it affects the construction industry.
This study is exploratory in nature and the sampling method used here is convenience sampling which is a type of non probability sampling. The number of respondents for this study is 100 and primary data is collected through questionnaire.
