For a long time, people have argued over and discussed the idea of prisoners' rights. More and more people are worried about how to ensure prisoners' human rights while they're behind bars. The rights of prisoners in India and the United Kingdom are the subject of this dissertation's comparison. We want to learn more about the policies, procedures, and laws in these nations that serve to safeguard the rights of prisoners by conducting this research. When it comes to prisoners' rights, the legal systems of India and the UK couldn't be more different. In contrast to the mixed legal system prevalent in the UK, the common law system forms the basis of India's legal system. This research aims to examine the two nations' approaches to prisoners' rights by comparing and contrasting their legal systems, laws, and practices.
