  Abstract


The concept of augmented reality (AR) in the world of shopping has emerged as a gamechanger, especially in the area of lifestyle product shopping. AR shopping involves the use of digital technology to superimpose a virtual layer of information over the real world. This technology enables customers to simulate a real shopping experience, view how products look, and interact with them in real-time, without physically being present instore. The aim of this study Is to understand how customers perceive AR shopping while purchasing lifestyle products. Lifestyle products include apparel, footwear, accessories, and beauty products, among others. The study aims to identify the factors that influence consumers' attitudes towards AR shopping and analyse the impact of demographic characteristics on consumer behaviour towards AR shopping. Through this study, we intend to provide insights to businesses and retailers on how they can leverage AR technology to enhance the customer shopping experience and drive sales. As the results of this study will be useful for businesses in understanding consumer behaviour towards AR shopping, which will assist them in making informed decisions about the adoption of AR in their customer service strategies.
