Social work is an important subject that deals with human existence and life on planet. Social work education is demanding and challenging as well. The study is focusedon explaining the social work education in Gujarat which is based on the primary data. The objectives of study are that to identify the challenges of Social Work Education in the state of Gujarat and to study the practices of Social Work Educators in the state of Gujarat. The paper is further highlight the challenges faced by the social work educators in the field of social work education.
